Peacecore: . Sey you go lead the invasion? |
All this failure of a man is concerned about is expunging sex education from school curriculum. It’s time we decentralized education in Nigeria and let each region develop or adjust their own curriculum |
The North is the most repressive and backward region in Nigeria. They detest the relative freedom of expression in the other parts of the country and want to impose their repressive culture on the rest of us, but they WILL NEVER SUCCEED. The difference between the Southern Youths and the Northern youths is clear: The former are more expressive, ambitious, confident, funny, and outgoing while the latter are more laid back, withdrawn, settle easily for the minimum, and conservative. Their leaders want to keep them so. |
lol |
Empty, greedy men. No substance, no vision. All they want is to come and steal some more and be called "your excellency." Tufiakwa. |
Bla Bla Bla . Atiku has shown the type of person he is. He is desperate for power, he is unprincipled, he can't be trusted as he speaks from both sides of his mouth, he is an ethnic jingoist, he is not able to reconcile different interests in his party let alone unify our diverse country; he is a bigot; he is fantastically corrupt, an the is not able to articulate a policy position or convincingly tells us about his plans. He is Buhari Pro- Max. May Atiku not happen to Nigeria. |
The CBN needs to be moved from Abuja to Lagos; the Supreme Court be moved from Abuja to Enugu; the national assembly be moved from Abuja to Ibadan; the naval headquarters be moved to Porthacourt, the army headquarters be moved to Kaduna, and the airforce headquarters be moved to Abeokuta. INEC headquarters be moved to Lokoja; NNPC headquarters be moved to Uyo; customs headquarters be moved to Lagos; DSS command be moved to Auchi. We need to decentralize this damn country. This country is designed to keep the federating units esnalved to the cabals in Abuja, people who do not know us nor care about us. Enough is enough. Each state needs to have their own education policy and capacity for accrediting schools and university in their jurisdiction (with the federal government only providing broad guidelines and serving in a consultative capacity. States need to have the ability to generate their own power or opt to join the national grid. States need to be able to control their own resources and pay something to the federal government and not the other way round. States need to have their own respective constitutions, police, and national guards. States in a region need to be subordinated to a regional government, which coordinates the joint affairs of each region so that the respective regions can speak with one voice. We need to have a part time national assembly that meets for a specific times in a year and ad hoc. There need to be a referendum clause in the constitution. It needs to be clear that Nigeria is a secular state. The state is supposed to be absolutely neutral in matters of religion and faith. Enough is enough. We need to liberate our country from the hands of foreign marauders, who have hijacked our government and are bent on controlling our lives and stifling our dreams. |
Una never see anything yet. Make una continue to the support evil fulani agenda. |
Useless people. Misplaced priority. How about banning illegal sale of handouts? How about banning sex-for-grades? Nonsense |
zeuss:He has already stepped down self ( behind the scene). He is a decoy candidate; he is just in the race to confuse the political calculations of Southern politicians. The North will never allow their votes to be balkanized in favor of the South. I wish the South will one day speak with one voice. That's only when Naija will begin to change. |
I wish Southerners will treat Atiku in the samw way, but our mumu too much. Fulani will rule us beaks to beaks for 16 years. A minority tribe fa. Mumu and greed naim go kill us fo South. |
Wicked, greedy, clueless, and selfish old men. May God stop all of you in your tracks. May you never come anywhere near the reigns of power again. Both Tinubu and Atiku. |
adioolayi:She smelled the coffee. It was not a voluntary resignation. The tories were reading to oust her. She would have lost a confidence vote. |
This is sad. Man down, Man down. |
OLABAMIJI99:Why not break off from the rest of the country and form an islamic emirate in the North like Afhganistan and Iran? Won't that be best for you and the rest of the South and Middle Belt? |
MeaslesMumpsRub:1) Peter obi's antecedents in Anambra and his demeanor show that he has the following qualities : Empathy, Decisiveness, Prudence in management of resources, reasonable cost of governance, humility, doggedness, responsiveness, accessibility, courage, and accountability . There are many anecdotes from his time in Anambra to confirm these qualities. 2). Justice and fairness. We cannot do the same thing over and over again and expect the same result. We've tried the Southwest, Niger-Delta, and Muslim-North, let's "think outside the box" if you may. Lets try the South East. It'd also be a fair thing to do ' 3) Compritively speaking, Obi is the best of all the candidates. He is younger and more enterprising, he is not as desperate as the rest( which shows he is out to serve), and his campaign is not powered by the same wicked old men that have been holding Nigeria by the throat. His campaign is organic, powered by THE PEOPLE. I'd choose Peter Obi over Atiku and Tinubu everyday, twice on a Sunday. If, God, forbid, he loses, then Tinubu is my next choice. May ATIKU NEVER SMELL ASO ROCK. How can a fulani man succeed another fulani man. Na winch? |
MeaslesMumpsRub:No lies spotted. I am by no means an igbo hater, but they have the most deplorable attitude in Nigeria, but they won't have some moment of introspection. An Enugu man is discriminated against by an Anambra man; even igbos from the same state discriminate against each other based local government of origin. They cannot live at home, they leave home in droves, but won't respect the culture and sensibilities of their hosts. An Igbo man can buy a land in lagos or in the remotest part of Nigeria, but they WILL NEVER ALLOW A NON-IGBO TO BE ESTABLISHED IN IGBO LAND. The igbos are the most discriminatory and bigoted tribe in Nigeria. They claim they are the wealthiest, but they don't realize that it is one thing to flaunt wealth and it is another thing to actually be wealthy. They are loud mouths, who are afraid of returning to the East, but constitute nuisance everywhere they are. They are the ones giving Nigeria bad name at home and abroad. I wish the international community can actually have a statistics of the criminals in their land to see what tribes they come from. I wish they can see that the bad Nigeria has is perpetuated by one or two tribes or ethnic groups. In the Biafra war, they COMMITTED UNTOLD ATROCITIES AGAINST THE TRIBES OF THE NIGER-DELTA, but they won't talk about that. Their closest neighbors, the - Niger-Deltans don't want to have anything to do with them, because of their deplorable attitude. An Igbo man is more bigoted than a Hausa man BY THE WAY, I SUPPORT PETER OBI WITH ALL MY CHEST AND I PRAY HE IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA |
I understand but I will still say the problem is not Buhari though he is always held responsible as the president........ Nigerians are very wicked..... Buhari actually started well with corruption fight but corruption/tribalism started fighting back, ..... Even in his own government.......it is so frustrating and this is the reason I said if Nigerian youths wants something different they should look beyond the presidency........ The corruption is in all facet of the economy.... And corruption is the major killer of the economy....... From the presidency to the least......haba...... Another killer of the economy are the governors....... until you start holding them accountable without sentiment and tribalism, nothing will change and even if Obi becomes the president with all his qualities it will not work......... MY RESPONSE I completely agree with you. I agree with you about the governors too. We have little regard for ethics, but do not underestimate the influence people in positions of authority have in shaping behavior, especially by the example of their own lives. Nigerians are wicked, but not inherently so or not more inherently than other nationals. The same wicked Nigerians go to the West and fall in line. Behaviors can be learned and unlearned depending on the intentional structure set up by the leadership( education, national orientation, rewarding integrity, working with the entertainment industry to shape mindsets and attitudes, working with religious leaders etc..). This can be done with inetntionality and competence. For example, do you know the amount of influence naija music has on our mindset? So, what if the national Orientation Agency kicks in and bring our artistes and songwriters on board with the task of reshaping our mindset? People take cues from those in position of power and influence. The government can do a lot in this regard. About the governors, here is how Obi can deal with them: With the help of his INEC chairman, establish a strong election or voting system that addresses the loopholes such that governors' fate are solely decided by the will of the people. Second, be transparent about allocations to governors (security votes etc...)let Nigerians know how much their governors take in monthly; with this, they can ask questions. I know governors are mini demons, but in our present system, the Federal government can do a lot to influence and arm twist governors. I know the wicked men benefitting from the present rot will fight back, but Obi also understands street; he is not afraid of fighting. He did so in Anambra-he fought entrenched interests and was even impeached. Obi is not oblivious to the enormous challenges. Also, the major source of corruption in our country is lack of transparency on the part of our government and the volatility of the system and the economic uncertainties it creates for Nigerians. If Nigerians have some measure of economic security and systemic stability, corruption will be reduced by half. About Buhari, I didn't believe he EVER fought corruption. He never appointed technocrats and competent people into offices. It took him six months to appoint his cousins and tribesmen into important federal offices and positions- many of them incompetent. This unconciounable nepotism in itself is the height of corruption. Buhari's regime will go down in history as the most corrupt Nigeria has ever experienced. |
desiredhome:I agree with you that no one president can change the mindset of Nigerians, but the leadership sets the tone. Can you remember during the early days of Buhari's administration? When every one ( especially corrupt officials) were very cautious and were studying the body language of Buhari? Once they found out that he was a fraud, they started running rampant with theft. So, to a significant extent, a president that is not corrupt and knows his job, can do a lot to stem the tide of corruption by government officials at all levels. Today, instead of EFCC to go after those stealing the desinty of Nigeria by looting her dry, they are going after petty thieves and framed "yahoo boys." You see the priority? Imagine an EFCC that is serious about tackling thieves in government. Imagine what difference it will make in changing the Nigerian mindset about stealing and corruption in government. Obi is not a messiah, but his antecedents show that he is the least corrupt of his competitors. He exudes genuine empathy and will work for all of us AND THAT IS THE LEAST WE CAN ASK FROM OUR PRESIDENT. BY THE WAY I AM NOT IGBO. |
desiredhome:Obi is certainly not a saint, but he is infinitely better than the evil men he is running against. He is empathetic, humble, prudent, accessible, responsive, and fearless. Go and verify. He is the next president of Nigeria and I'm sure, you'd benefit from his presidency, because he is not as vindictive as the men he is running against. |
Trust a fulani oligarch at your own peril. THEY ARE THE ONES HOLDING NIGERIA BY THE THROAT. Forget Sanusi's good english. If you want to know who he truly is, look at his best friend-El-Rufai. They are evil men, only that Sanusi is a bit better in the art of sophistry. May God deliver us from their hands, |
Where was my teacher when I was in ss2? |
The Federal government has no power to tell the people of Kogi state how to manage their own resources. Jesus |
A sitting governor is dismissing the effort of local authorities to fight terrorist in a gleeful manner. Suggesting explicitly that local authorities should not bother fighting terrorists as the terrorists will always be superior. He did not even say that the local vigilantes should be better armed to fight these guys. It appears the these guys know one or two things about these terrorists that we do not know. The fact the federal authorities and their allies are averse to licensing legitimately set up local security outfits to match these terrorist fire for fire also raises a lot of questions. If I am a state governor, I will go ahead and arm my local vigilantes with the most sophisticated weapons money can buy and give them the best training possible. Let the Federal government come and stop me. Let the heavens fall. But I don't even believe Akerdolu, Ortom and co are serious enough. The governors are not serious about security. They can arm their thugs with impunity, but would not arm a security outfit that was legitimately set up. I BELIEVE they are just crying to make it appear to their people that they are doing enough for them. How can you depend on Abuja to give you permission to defend the lives and property of your own people? |
I don't know the back details of this story, but its high time Dangote is held accountable. He is flaunted as a smart business man, but in reality, he relies on corrupt government officials and cronies to stay afloat. Using government officials, he crushes competition and exploits the resources of the people. His refinery in lagos almost became a white elephant project until his fulani buddies at the federal government rallied round to forge a fake partnership with him( he'd later turn around and claim it 100%, just like he is doing with this factory in Obajana). Dangote has destroyed many communities without any iota of social responsibility and has claimed many lives by his despicable business practices. I hope this is the beginning of the move to hold him accountable. |
There is no hate anywhere. It's all politics and Reno O'Mockery is desperate to please his pay master. The more desperate he gets, the more he tones up the rhetoric. |
Ezewuzie01:Losing weight is a good thing bruv. Slimmer is healthier than chubbier. I wish it was me getting slimmer, instead of getting chubbier. |
It's called politics and Reno O'Mockery and the rest are in it for their stomachs it's any where belle face for them. They dance to the tune of whoever is willing to pay them more money. They have zero principles. |
This is because there is no good data base system in Nigeria. If the system works, the law enforcement officers will not be stressing themselves as much. They'd just get your license plate number. |
[]Each time the President’s wife makes a comment, she gives us what is called “food for thought”, about the man. Many questions now can be raised, especially while looking at his presidency and seeing how wrong things have gone. Remember that sometime ago, Mrs. Buhari told us that the Presidency had been hijacked. We have witnessed as never before, internal squabbles in Aso Rock, against the Kyaris. How are we sure that same issue is not replicating. Only in January, the baba said that he was tired and needed to go back to his farm.
Also, in a recent speech, he apologized to Nigerians for the hardship we are going through. Apart from her recent insensitive facebook post of her daughter in-laws graduation pictures, she seems to know that her husband has wrecked untold havoc on this nation. |
Wike will be making the worst mistake of his life and political career if he soft pedals and works for Atiku. They will not on,y dump him after the election, but will mess him up big time. I’m sure Wike knows better. I hope he sticks to his gun. |
Governor Ortom is not a serious governor. They are killing youor people and you're waiting for the patron of your people's killers to give you approval to buy weapons for self defense? In other words, you're waiting for your enemy to arm you? if you truly love your people, damn Buhari and the fulani cabals and arm your people with equally sophisticated weapons to defend themelevses. This has to be done immediately. |
