Saintsammurai: we have been beating but that will not make even sevilla be playing Anderlecht full time draw in a uefa cup quarter finals, not to talk of Barcelona.. haba that's not even possible na.
You still have not said anything relevant to the Nigerian situation....
What part of the Nigerian history and culture can possibly be imbibed into the design of a car....is it our Cowrie shells, rubber mats, Terra Cota clay designs, or what exactly please?
Or is Murtala Muhammed's head going to be the insignia of the Nigerian Car?
This response from you just goes to show that your mind is closed. You're not here to be objective but just to ridicule a Buhari appointment because you hate the man.
Have you stopped to ask yourself why people imply that an Igbo man prefers a Benz or an SUV, or that Hausa men seem to be in love with the Honda cars (especially the Honda 'Hala' as we call it)? Have you ever wondered why Americans seem to like and build big cars, while Europeans seem to build more compact vehicles? Can you not decipher which societies or nationalities are historically/culturally conservative and which ones are more ebullient? Do you not know that this can be a factor in the types of cars, houses or communities they build?
So, all that Nigerian history and culture is to you is cowrie shells and rafia leaves? Dude, come on. Feel free to hate Buhari, but don't let it becloud your objective reasoning.
SmartyPants: For someone calling a great man senile, your own brain works in a fascinating way doesn't it?
How can you sell someone something (or someone) for free? Furthermore:
1. At the time, Guiseppe Rossi was behind Rooney, Tevez, Saha, Ronaldo. He needed gametime and he wasn't going to get it while those players were at man utd. That was the best decision for all parties and most especially for Rossi's career.
2. Ferguson bought Zaha, Moyes sold him.
3. Ferguson did not sell Evra or Vidic.
What is wrong with you?
Don't mind that guy abeg. I doubt if he is a real United fan. Was it Fergie that bought Depay or Rojo?
FTBOY: politicians will use thugs for their selfish needs and still get the police to kill them. vampire from imo used to be a tool in the hands of apc, now he's dead and okorocha is happy.
Good for them still. The idiots should stop making themselves tools in the hands of politicians.
Iamwrath: We said it Nigerian police is a disgrace, how can they conclude hastily that he killed himself ?
Yeye people all they can do is jump fence and burst into people's house looking for wetin no loss
How can a man shoot himself 3 times in a suicide attempt ? someone said
maybe he shot himself once, his soul shot him again and then his spirit took the third shot Funny but true , i saw that comment as sarcastic
That man did not kill himself , he was killed by someone else and i suspect it has something to do with being on the arms investigation panel
If the man has / owns a remote controlled gate , then i am certain he has cctv surrounding his house , probably alarm and all those stuffs
If CCTV Malfunctioned that day , HOLD THE HOUSEBOY AND TORTURE HIM , it's an inside job
Yeye phone checker police , do proper investigation and stop shooting small boys who can't defend himself
you killed one in Ife, You killed two at UNIOSUN on school's field , you shot another one in Lagos
Do better investigation .... Eleriibu pipu
We all know that the Nigerian Police is largely inefficient, but I don't think they at any point in time released a statement concluding that this was a case of suicide. That conclusion was reached by the media and online bloggers, probably because of the recent cases of suicide that has been in the news.
Quite sad. I remember playing a football match during NYSC. After 10 mins I knew I wasn't fit and jejely substituted myself. I hadn't played football in more than 3 years before then.
Ronaldinnioh: When the bank manager was told to pay the jamb lesson tutors were busy asking me if Kim karashian was among the choir members who sang at deeper life champ ground at Lagos but instead she was among the Niger delta avengers that she was not in a hurry to follow chibok girls move to the front seat and allow Buhari's daughter not to pick her Law bar coat. Am not okay with the way tomatoes dropped that it heavily affected Dangote from making sure his Dollar transactions was depicted in Euros that Arsene Wenger was not among those who decided to sign C Ronaldo when he wanted to make a move to Aso rock and vote for APC members who were not paying attention when Patience Jonathan shouted their is God ooooo that made all ISIS members decides to take a selfie with Obama who wasn't ready to see that Donald Trump even voted for Hilary Clinton who was not running against in at the Peoples Democratic Party.
favelli: hehehehe.. not surprised though.. one of the best flop to emerge from nigeria
Best flop what? You obviously didn't know Yakubu in his prime. The dude may be way past it now, but he is still the 3rd highest goalscorer for the national team in history, behind Yekini and Odegbami. He is also the 2nd highest African goalscorer in EPL history.
My advice to him though is that he should just retire.
So all these plenty ladies and no one could score half a goal in regular time. Small time now dey go dey insult Giroud. @Mukina come see your people o!
Some people think it is only wives that have issues with mother-in-laws; but you only need to know what some men are enduring from theses women who want to run their children's homes the way they ran theirs.
HAH: Am an employer and I consider some of the things you wrote not to be CV very important when recruiting as very vital in recruitment, for instance marital status will make me have an idea of the potential employees disposition, I need to know if you know computer basics, cos there a lot of computer illiterates people out there.
Though you got most right
I once had an assistant who selected text from a MS Word document and wanted to paste it straight onto a flash drive. A university graduate o. I couldn't believe my eyes. I bet she had Microsoft Office proficiency on her CV.
The way we throw terms around in this country though. I mean, Genocide? Haba, this is a reprisal attack. You killed one of theirs, they killed six of your.
It is not the kind of behavior the army should engage in, especially against the citizens they are supposed to protect. If the report is true, then those involved need to be punished.
EazyMoh: This is disappointing, Punch is also towing the line Vanguard in unprofessional journalism. The council chief denied the death of anybody, yet Punch put it in the headline without finding out the deceased name and intervening her family. They didn't even try to quote any source for their story, the writer just stated it as if he was an eye witness especially in that first paragraph. Honestly the people carrying misinformation are doing as much damage by creating unnecessary anger and hate in people's minds which may lead to carnage in the future. Uganda is a typical example. I condemn the soldiers act though if they really did what they did.
I noticed that too. If their own council head denied the report, then the matter get as he be.
This is why we need to strengthen our local governments and ensure their autonomy. Ideally, this is primarily a local government responsibility. I hope the Governor comes to their aid though.
This guy needs to go and learn how to do a good PR job. Instead of this nonsense drivel, how about saying something like:
The government and the President feel the pain of the people and are doing their best to make life better for all. Those who are protesting are within their rights to do so, but the President promises them that every Nigerian will smile soon as this tough time will soon be over.
Speak in a humane voice. Empathize with the people. This Doyin Okupe styled attack dog strategy doesn't work. The last election proved that.
Thanks for these memories Naptu2. I watched both Mind Your Language and Second Chance growing up. Also remember comedy shows like The Jeffersons with George and Louise, and Good Times that had Jay Jay and John Amos as their father. Then there was Different Strokes,Mixed Blessings, Sanford and Sons and the likes. The 80's was the real deal.
Very objective comments so far. I guess the "children of hate" haven't woken up. Or they just abhor good news, no matter how minute or seemingly insignificant it is.
