Why he goofed his because he was bragging about people he served with in the past and they put it to him that it was under the PDP. He should have just smiled and ignored the remark. Instead he said "God forbid". Mind you, he is from a PDP state. Also, he will be serving all Nigerians, irrespective of their party affiliations. He should have been more tactful. |

moyinoluwabun: Why secret trial? Seems FG have something to hide. I expect that if truly they have something genuine against himn he should be exposed by giving it public trial. I don dey fear all dis APC steps of witch-hunting ooo It's the identity of the prosecution witnesses that they are claiming they want to protect. Maybe they feel their lives will be in danger if their identity is known. However, I support Dasuki's lawyers. The DSS should sort out the protection of their witnesses. |

Ucheosefoh: I rather choose for my sister or my future daughters be as successful as Linda Ikeji, Rita Dominic and Genevive Nnaji and still be single than get married to one miserable man in the name of marriage. As for the posters above and below isn't she better than millions of married women in miserable marriages. As for her husband who cares, abeg you guys should cut her some slack, she is a role model not only to the girls but to the real hustling guys out there who wants to make it legitimately Yet neither money, like marriage, brings happiness. If in doubt, ask Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams and many more rich and successful people who still lived a life of misery. Rich and "successful" doesn't always translate to joy or happiness. Or would you be happy to have a rich and successful sister who is actual miserable behind the facade of a merry smile? Whatever brings you happiness and fulfillment is what matters in my opinion. Money, marriage, career? Whatever works for you. |

Those politicians can make policy decisions that will crash the business that your boss paying for your daily bread is into. Their policies can take that your plot of land and the duplex you erected on it away from you without compensation. So, if you think they have no impact on your life, then you are on a long thing. |

Talk of 35% women participation, how many women do we have in the Senate or house of Representatives? How many women are governors? Abi those ones no follow? Behold the man who spoke my mind. I'd like to know how many women their opposition group campaigned for to be governors or legislators. Or are women only good for being handed appointments? Are they not worthy of elective positions? Jarus: Neither of them can win it. Musa was 8th in Africa last year, not sure he can make Top 10 this time around.
I'm surprised Obafemi Martins didn't make this 37 man first list. The guy has been in blistering form in MLS since last season scoring 17 goals last season and about 14 already this term.
Shows CAF Technical committee members only watch European leagues I think its because the MLS is not as highly rated as several European leagues currently. Some even see it as a league for retirees winding down their careers. |

safarigirl: he played against African teams at the U17 level. Nutrition should help solidify his muscles, he just needs to play with them, after all, European and S/American teams have bested these physical African teams I hope everyone (yes I quoted you on purpose dear) who was insulting Oliseh can give him a break now; even if momentarily. Yes, he handled the Enyeama issue poorly, but so did Enyeama. They both had their faults. What I found difficult to wrap my head around were all the hateful comments made about Oliseh just to show solidarity with Enyeama. Oliseh may end up not succeeding as Eagles coach due to inexperience, but as a player, I dare to say that there is nothing Enyeama has done, achieved or sacrificed for Nigeria that Oliseh has also not equalled in the past, save for number of caps. And they are both passionate about the Eagles. Some of you may be too young to have witnessed it, but folks like me watched Oliseh come of the bench to salvage an AFCON 2000 quarter final game we were loosing to Senegal on home soil; even when he had already been ruled out of the game because he had malaria. We watched how Oliseh cried like a baby when we lost the finals on penalties to Cameroon. I can't forget that ever. I appreciate Enyeama just as much as I appreciate Oliseh. No squabble between the two will change that. |

PMB administration should stop this media prosecution and quickly get to work by speeding up the probe process, charge all the persons involved to court for prosecution. People should serve as examples before this government can be taken seriously! ! With due apologies, I usually find this line of argument lame. A newspapers job is to dig for scoops that will help sell their papers. That is not media prosecution, that is sensational journalism. What would you have the government do? Sensor or muzzle the press? |

That defense with albinos was rubbish and lastly I don't think Nigeria has any technical crew in that team. Sunday was so clueless.. At a time we were playing with 3 STRIKERS!!! What is strange about playing with three strikers when you are chasing a game? |
