Nonybb: This man is making the 15,000 USD I have in my domiciliary account to be useless
I have converted the less than 1k dollars that was just there when my bank all of a sudden started to deduct from my account. And I am happy for it. This naira must appreciate by force by fire. Japa sef go reduce
Jovialjune1: It's your lack of comprehension skills for me, how you are able twist a growing concern to attacking the Op for pointing out the basic truth cannot be good for your brain.
Weed and bombing has finished his thinking faculty now
SoNature: The price of PMS can never drop if we don't have functional refineries. Saying the price of PMS will drop is like saying that the price of iPhone will drop because you don't even manufacture it locally - you just import it.
In fact, NNPC has become the world's most useless oil corporation. An oil corporation that is more interested in building roads and hospitals instead of having functional refineries.
That NNPC should be scrapped and a new national oil corporation formed with fresh dynamic young engineers
Nigerians have reacted to a video showing the interior of former president, Muhammadu Buhari‘s house in Daura, Katsina state.
Buhari and his family moved into the house following the end of his tenure as president.
The video showed Buhari asking questions about the air conditioner in the apartment and some Nigerians said that the house wasn’t befitting for a former president.
This man has always loved living simple lifestyle. But Nigerians will be pushing an innocent person to loot.
The interior is neat and okay. Does he need to show opulence? You want him and his family to become targets for kidnappers?
Abeg free the man. He's old and just wants the simple sturvs.
Temioolajide: Pls how do i deal with my junior brother?
I'm 19 yrs old and he is 17 He is very spoilt and stubborn I just finished having a confrontation with him because i locked the window in our room cus the breeze entrying was much and it was making the cotton to fall.
He came in the room where i was reading and started shouting that the room is smelling calling me insultive name like olorun, obun room that isn'tsmelling at all.a new room.
When my mom intervened he starts saying she's always supporting me which he always says..
He thinks he can fight me but i don't just want to destroy that his mouth that is running like tap so i had to control my temper because he is a slim person and I'm more muscular.
Imagine when he had a surgery my mom spent over 120k on the surgery yet he still has the balls to talk any how to her.
Pls how do we bring him to order Note: Our dad is late
Thanks much
Just calmly stand up. Give him a factory resetting slap. Add another slap. Make sure not to hit him where he had surgery. Next time he knows disrespect will earn him hot slap, he will not try such again. He obviously sees you as weak. Maybe too soft
That's how the fracas between me and my younger brother started decades ago. I'm currently 50yrs and he's 48yrs. We don't see eye to eye now.
As children, he was always causing trouble and fighting me as his elder, but our parents ignored it and thought he was just being childish and will outgrow it with time. The fights grew worse and more bitter. He has never acknowledged me as his elder brother and keeps defaming me to other relatives and people outside the family. He has succeeded in poisoning the mind of my other siblings & mother towards me, because he is more out-going than me. Defending myself against the many lies is not worth the effort and strength. It is really painful.
Our father is currently very old and sick, and I had to assume control of his business as the first son (also as the first child). My younger brother, who was also named a Director of the company in the CAC documents, has been challenging my legitimacy to head the affairs of the business and has threatened to institute legal action against me - and I know he's not bluffing! Fortunately, our father did a formal handover to me. He boycotted the ceremony. He doesn't want to resign as a Director, and does not want to support the business. I find this very frustrating.
Funny thing is that he has a very good job and even doing far better than me financially, but he can't just let go of the bitterness in his heart. I've been praying for him and I know that God will touch his heart one day. I love him deeply, but he just can't see or accept it.
LESSONS: 1. Parents, don't take for granted that your children were born from the same womb, and think that they will grow up to love and support each other in the future. 2. Address every sign of jealousy or hatred as soon as you notice these. 3. Be deliberate about inculcating love, cooperation and unity among your children. 4. Leave nothing to chance. 5. Never allow a younger sibling to disdain an older one, regardless of their gender. Younger boys tend to disrespect older female siblings. 6. Pray for your children always against sibling rivalry.
Rayban25: My dear you dont understand boys. Unlike girls, boys actually need physical beatings to reset their brains..mothers may not like it but beating does wonders to a boy
babaolofin: It is not that Buhari lacked the capacity to take tough decisions, time and seasons dictate decisions at times. More importantly, personal conviction and understanding of the situation and the outcomes affect decision taking. We should never compare Buhari or Jonathan or Obasanjo government to Tinubu's government. Each government has its divine assignment at a particular point.
Tinubu's government has a very key divine assignment for Nigeria and Africa that is why there are many adversaries. Abiola divine assignment was to Africa but the adversaries never allowed him to deliver it. Abiola started Reparations to Africa global crusade years before he decided to contest for Presidency, till date, Africa remains where Abiola left it.
During the Presidential debate of 1993 on NTA, both aspirants ( Abiola & Tofa) were asked how they would control Exchange Rate that Naira to Dollar would be low and stable? Tofa said Naira would be pegged to Dollar (=N=10 to $1 or lower). ABIOLA said a Glasgow trained Accountant cannot say he would peg Naira / Dollar Exchange Rate. He said it is the economic forces that will determine the exchange rate. He said they would work on all the forces to stabilize the exchange rate. Abiola did not tell lie because he wants votes. That was a man on a mission. Nzeribe was on his propaganda noise that instead of a Yoruba man becoming a President, let Hausa continue. The Nzeribe people has now transformed into a movement. Nigeria must move forward.
China passed through this stage and survived it.
The small tribal bigots have no idea what happened in the past. But the Nzeribe spirit is at work in them. Thank God the courts checkmated them.
I just pray that the tough reforms of this government will bring in the desired results of prosperity and peace
LeoDeKing: Yes, they can meet to discuss how to mitigate the spontaneous effect of the removal. But I trust the great Jagaban of Africa, subsidy is gone and gone for good.
A line may be added in the salaries of public and civil servants. Learning and medical facilities may be provided in appropriate institutions at reduced prices for the benefit of Nigerians. Infact, there are more than a million ways to redirect the subsidy funds for our collective good.
But continued enrichment of the already very rich fuel marketers in the name of the scam called subsidy should stop forthwith.
God bless PBAT God bless VP Shettima God bless Nigerians in all the sixfive geopolitical zones.
That is how Sai baba Buhari convinced everyone that raising pump price of PMS from 80 something naira to 140 something will make PMS available and eventually prices will crash! Since then it has been fuel scarcity, price increases while still claiming that they are paying even more subsidy year in year out to their cronies.
Nigerian masses should not pay for corruption that we have federal agencies like Police, EFCC, ICPC that can be strengthened to expose and punish the criminals involved.
Benjaniblinks: Anything that Buhari touches... Can the sit be changed?
Abi now. Like the new governor of Kano. The guy changed his executive seat to one at the back. Bluntly refusing others to touch his seat except his ADC
Funny, wierd but juju scare dey where politicians dey for Naija
Yugoslavia247: Bro go an listen to bala on arise tv page on twitter.
Will dangote sell to Nigeria at dollar rate or naira rate? The loan he will pay were they gotten in naira rate or dollar rate?
Is dangote going to sell cheaper to Nigeria and sell more to abroad customers?
The workforce especially those from overseas, will they be paid in dollar or naira? If it is dollar then it will be uniform. you can not segregate payment
CBN says they will buy forex from dangote. Now will he sell in CBN rate or parallel or black market rate?
If he sells the parallel rate or black market then dollar will not reduce but increase.
If dangote sells cheaper to naija customer that means Nigeria is paying dangote subsidy. Answer the question and tell me your answer
Emefiele said that has Dangote already started repaying his loans even before his refinery starts. He is supposed to start producing sometimes in July!
SultanOfAbia: My mother is furious that I don't want to come over to the UK. This month my younger sister left for UK and it's remaining me. Documents and all papers are right and after couple family intervention I decided to go for interview. I really didn't want to go to Uk I love my life here in Nigeria tho things are hard.. it's still my home I feel more connected to my father's land. Going to abroad is not my plan. My mother thinks I'm possessed by spirit that want me to not succeed. My uncles have pleaded with me to go and join my mum and sis in UK.
I was given UK visa last year, refused to join my sister that traveled this May
honestly I don't want to move to Uk. I know how hard life can be in 9ja but i still love this country. Mumsi says she is really dissapoinmented in me for staying back. Did I do anything wrong?
Nandoife: Please tell us what you think about the Judgment without insulting anyone please Also Get your Professional Company Logo or Letterhead for Businesses for 2k only
I think that they felt they could use the courts to pull another M.K.O Abiola stunt on the Yorubas. But once beaten, twice shy. The courts cannot be used anymore to truncate this democracy
Dapson73: There's time for everything, the critical talk was during campaign and engagement, its time for celebration now, and once sworn in, the work starts immediately.
FireUpNow: The negotiators must up their games to end the war
Sorry to be pessimistic but this war is a game and a money spinner to few cabal countries. Until they are good and ready, it won't stop
America that's powerful enough to do something in mediation is in the middle of it. The war games and drills started last year with NATO members, later China and Russia...
GreatVocalist: My parents gave me this same treatment, and it has affected me right to this point of my life. I'm extremely awkward, socially. It's so hard to deal with.
You are probably an introvert, and maybe a science/medical/engineering courses that did not leave room to socialize. Go out of your way and out of your shell if you try, you'll get better over time.
Robert kiyosaki was like that, so he had to take up salesman job to boost himself. Today he is a successful motivational speaker for a living
FireUpNow: They will come out of it. Germany has good managers of the economy but I this Russian energy thing affected them greatly
Exactly. The economy must suffer the war going on near them. Hope NATO joins Hungary president to tell Ukraine to shelve it's NATO ambition. The same way Americans dealt with Cuba when it wanted to allow Russian missiles, the same way Russia too will continue to deal with Ukraine till it receives sense
I only pity the innocent souls that are dying unnecessarily
