PoliticsRe: Why Is Everybody Afraid Of Buhari's Presidency by DaLover(m): 3:14pm On Jun 19, 2012
GenBuhari: ^
It is precisely because of constant non-stop lies like this, that I have been posting news archives to show those who are too young to know the truth, what the truth really is.

Abacha was one of our best presidents and Buhari had good reason not to criticise him, he in fact never actually looted and was maliciously discredited bu Obj IBB and world bank, who have since gone on to ruin Nigeria.
Abacha was one of our best presidents
WOWWWWWW are you for realllhuh

Buhari had good reason not to criticise him
The good reason was that Abacha gave him appointment...or is there somthing else I don't know?

malc619: Don't get d point of your sermon, but what all sane Edo people know is that the ACN led govt in the state is light-years ahead of PDP... They were made to go thru hell for over 9yrs by the PDP led govt. Then came Oshiomole under the ACN. He's not perfect but he has out-performed the PDP regime in no small measure...
The PDP should apologise to the pple of Edo state ‎Άŋϑ seek their forgiveness first not trying to "Re-Capture" the state just to massage Anenih's Ego...
You obviously believe that party politic is properly structured and working in nigeria...more greese to your thinking

egift: Frank, I have told guys to stop asking these question if you are not ready to include the benefits and privileges that is part of being President.

Nigerians dey look right, left, up, down and around them to avoid fallen victims to kidnapper, armed robber, militants, boko harams and police molestation - on to of empty stomach you dey ask them to perform the duty of the President.

Who told you the President do not know how to stop them - No him and his people carry us the play draft.
You already know that a number of daft answers are going to come from those who have been making noise that is why you are being defensive....

Demdem: Can u kindly give to me also all the security/intelligence reports and info the retardeen has access to so that i can make informed decision. Lets start with the list of Evil Boko Sponsors he claimed is with him. Give it to me and let me start sharing my ideas with u.

Besides he made himself available to govern not me, so if he think the job is overwhelming and more than what he bargained for, why cant he just resign. na by force? Innocent peeps are dying daily.
So you are not even aware if he is doing anything or not ....because you don't have security reports...
Did we know the IRA sponsors ...shinfain...but how long did the IRA issue last? did f00lish british people ask each and every brith is government to resign because they were under terorrist for over 50years?

Is knowing someone did something enough to convict him in a court of law? the senator who was tracked and caught with eveidences and tracable phone calls is presently undergoing the legal process?
The security agancies have their suspects and are currently tracking them...hard evidences need to be produced before clam down occurs...you don't expect people like Buhari to make silly mistakes......

The bottom line is that you want the president out by all means necessary hence you will say or write anything...even the senceless things...

hillsate: Another regional biased person on the loose!
Guy, let me educate you a little.
The first, primary and most important function of the GEJ is to ensure the security of life and properties of his subjects which obviously he has not started yet. So what other functions are you talking about?
FYI, i do not support the bombings passively or actively.

What do i expect from his presence?
Read my previous post again.
I acn't afford to read a daft post twice....say something intelligent about what you expect from his presence...if not direct your annoyance to the criminals bombing...
Before you post find out about how terrorism operates in other parts of the world and how long it took to resolve...stop being intentionally deluded

We will prove this after you prove that GEJ is the cause.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Off To Brazil As Kaduna, Yobe Burn: Height Of Insensitivity by DaLover(m): 2:15pm On Jun 19, 2012
hillsate: I get really pis.sed off when people talk like this out of regional bias!
Who told you the security agents are answerable to the governor or their representatives. Do you know why GEJ is called the commander-in -chief of the armed forces?
Was it Fashola that mobilised security agents to Gani park in Lagos to prevent Nigerians from gathering during the subsidy protest? Was it not GEJ
GEJ only knows how to respond when things directly affect him or his pocket.
look at the glaring example of Faruk scandal. GEJ never made any move to start considering the recommendation of the house of reps, but was very apt to allow security agents chase Faruk around.

What in God's name is he going to do in brazil that is different from what he did in CHOGM that brought nigeria nothing but shame!
Your country is on fire and you are going for stu.pid conference? Even though we know your being around makes no difference nut at least pretend you care by being around.
Brazil indeed? Patience just wants to go and import Brazilian hair.
Thats is why you are passively supporting the bombings, so the president will not be able to carry out his functions..and then you will come out to screem at any action he takes...what do you expect from his presence...try and make sence once in a while

GenBuhari: I do not see how educating people is a bad thing, whether you consider it spamming or not, it is still informative. It is definately a necessity in a forum where there is a lot of lies and confusion being spread, and where the majority of people are to young to know the truth.
This is someone who cannot say very directly without mincing words "boko harem is evil and bad". He always wants to tie it to politics.

This is someone who presently leads a tribal party

This is someone who didn't see anything wrong with two Moslems ruling Nigeria.

This is someone who situated majority of ptdf projects in northern nigeria

This is someone who fraternised with Abacha very closely....and cannot even criticize Abacha publicly......

This is someone whose party cannot presently show us the difference they brought to the leadership in the few states and LGAS they presently govern....

Please take away this tribal bigot from out consciousness....

Donxavier: I think it's flogging a dead horse trying to analyze the ills of this country. We have been doing that for decades now and it hasn't taken us anywhere. We know the root cause of the problem in this nation and that's Corruption. Historically, the only way corruption has been dealt with was to get tired of it and get rid of it. This has happened in several ways but the most common for endemic corruption like Nigeria's case has been the violent bloody revolution usually carried out by the 'middle class' of a nation. Other ways have been the Jerry Rawling's style where a sincere Leader can take the bull by the horns and eliminate the corrupt breed in Government. My question is Why can't this happen in this country? Is there any hope at all? Do Nigerians so love life that we can't do something about this whole mess? Is Nigeria worth dying for? The feeble attempt we had at it during the Subsidy protests didn't yield any results.

A bloody revolution can't work in a multi religious, multi ethnic country like nigeria....it will quickly lead to civil war.....besides the key challenges facing the nation will not be addressed....

The problem this country faces is not corruption but a system that allows corruption prevai.....if we can alter this system then we will go a long way to improving productivity and reducing corruption.

When people come here to write that PDP is the devil, i honestly wish they world profer reasonable alternatives .....

What are the signs to show that the existing alternatives are going to be better?
Have the alternative parties demonstrated their prowess in the local governments or states they cover?
Have they demonstrated the ability to create wealth or revenue or jobs?
Or do we just to replace PDP with a tribal party....people need to talk from a position sensible standing.

When supposedly enlightened people gather to discuss such an issue of politics, the discussion should actually center around how we can evolve political parties that are ideologically based...

texazzpete: Bullcrap. There are other countries in the world apart from the US, you know. There's no such largesse in Russia and China, for example.

The trillions of Naira funneled to the Niger Delta to 'correct the wrongs' over the past decade have largely been eaten by their leaders which the people turn around to adore and worship. See how many Deltans and Bayelsans idolize Ibori and Alams even after massive theft of state resources. Money for development is stolen at all levels in the Niger Delta.

I have a long standing challenge with people on Nairaland from the Niger Delta to point to ONE thing their Local Government chairman has done. Of the billions sent to local governments to carry out grassroot development programmes, virtually 95% of it is stolen without remorse.

Sadly, the educated ones like yourself are far more content spreading the same lazy arguments instead of taking the fight to many of the true oppressors.
Please where is the evidence to show that ibori and alams are being idolized? Both men where chased by efcc based on the strength of petitions by indigenes of the state....

You deliberately decide to mis inform the public with your poisonous and evil post about 9ja deltans....apart from providing the resources to fund ur education and sustain ur existence, i don't know what we did to deserve this haterade.....
Could it be because we advocate for resources control whereby those who sit on top the oil mine it and pay tax to govt, in stead of a federal govt father Christmas system....
The real reason yorubas are angry at the gej government is they fear they will be asked to contribute to the common wealth....normally this should not be a bad thing......
But here in nigeria...it has lead to attacks on anything 9ja deltan....even to the extent of trying to pick divisions between the groups in the 9ja delta.......
This continues to be be the sad reality of the day....God should save us from the SW and their hypocrisy....amen

mathskill: i want all the haters to translate "it is raining cats and dogs" in thier mother tongue. You will found out it is miles from what the english man is trying to describe.same with what buhari said about "kare jini, biri jini".To his immediate audience who understand hausa he meant to "struggle to withot compromise to ones intergrity and principles" .To his non hausa audience one can interprete what he said to suit his/her selfish interest and further invent lies against buhari.
One think is certainly clear about buhariphobia, you can only hate him and thats as far as it goes, nothing more.
I translated the phrase "Dogs and Baboons will see blood" into my Isoko language and guess what....

It still came out as "Canines and over weight monkeys shall see human liquid"

I can now see how people would have mus-interpreted the dictator.... grin

vinceobe: This is a useless post. What has so happened during GEJ time that has not happened before. We have had coups, plane crashes, wars, tribal battles, religions wars, ete etc, before. Are you new in Nigeria. Did all these problems start today? You people have done all you can to undermine GEJ Presidency. You failed election and you vowed that GEJ would never have a peaceful government. Remember it is what you sow you will reap. Look back to 1960, it has been like this. We will never give our Head of State or President the chance to succeed. When Obasanjo come on board, some reactionary elements started Sharia to undermine the government. They write useless posts and paint unreal positions. Why do you not look at the positive things that have happened instead of dwelling on the negatives. UK had IRA rebels problems, US had and is till having terrorism threats from Alkada and others, Isreal had Palistinians problems up till now, Italy has mafiaso and drugs problems, Uganda has Northern Rebel problems, Zimbabwe had sit-titism and serious economic problems. Ghana once had serious economic and leadership problems, The list is endless. They all struggled and got out of the water and some are still struggling to solve the problems. There is no country in the world now that does not have one problem or the other, always caused by reactionary people of your ilks, who will never dwell on the positive but on the negative. Even if things are moving, they say they are not moving. As far as I am concerned, no past Nigerian head of state or Presidnet never had problems with die hard critics like you who put stumbling blocks on the way of success. The earlier you people repent, the better for this country. Otherwise, if even Jesus Christ comes to rule Nigeria, people like you will still see otherwise.
