@Poster.I wont hide anything for u at this point.The only solution is that u get married to a US citizen as soon as possible.Since u have your I-94 with you, a US citizen can file for you to become a Permanent Resident.I know previous contributors are trying to shy away from this.There is no way u can go back to the school without first going to Nigerian then re-enter which is a mission impossible cos anytime u decide to go back to 9ja and try to re-enter they will definitely deny u entry cos of your previous immigration history.Though my advice might sound criminal but that just the way around it.People might castigate me for this advice but he who hasn't sin should cast the first stone.I cant put on the Holier than thou attitude.

Sorry guys, Botswana is a visa free to Canada, the link you guys send is a fact, just wordering why Botswana dont need a visa to Canada and South Africa Need, knowing the fact that SA is far better than Botswana,

Houston is clearly no Holiday spot for kid, you see what is available yourself below

looking at the beautiful homes there for a start = we have that in Lekki, Abuja

it has lots of water slides that the kids will enjoy too = we have that in Waterparks

They have Ice skating ring right in the middle of the mall where kids can have skatin lessons = we have that in VI

Also take them to incredible Pizza on highway Six in sugarland, lovely place for kids to eat assortment of pizzas
= ofcourse there is Domino Pizza in Yaba.

Thank you for your kind reply. I have phoned Canada Embassy in UK but they said that they do not have access to CIC customer information and that they (CIC) may not give any acknowledgement of the post until they have finished their processing and I told them they ought to acknowledge whether they receive applicant post or not even if it does not involve money.

So, I have phoned Canada Embassy in UK but they said they could not help. They only directed me back to CIC web page (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/call.asp) which does not contain any useful contact details.

From experience I can tell you that you can't even apply for a visa to the UK or US with two valid Nigerian passports.
The Nigeria Immigration Service actually has guidelines on their website, immigration.gov.ng. You should check and verify this. You're not supposed to hold two valid passports. If you want to apply for a new visa from a Schengen territory, they will probably flag that issue.
The ideal thing to do, since you live in the UK, is to visit the appropriate Home Office section and transfer the visa to your new passport. Ditto for the US embassy. Then you go to the Nigerian embassy and cancel the old one.

But i cannot get married to her here reason being that i'm don't have a residence permit here in asia, i've been using a Tourist visa for 2years, i normally cross to a neighboring country,only an hour from here every 2 months to re-enter with a new Tourist visa so am not permitted to get married here with that kind of visa or travel to Canada from here, i have to go to my home country and thats why we plan to come to Nigeria to get legally married then go back to Canada together. Please, i'll need you to advice me most on the best and fastest way to go about it from Nigeria. Am not sure how long u meant when when you said it takes less than a year, i don't plan to spend more than 1 or 2 months at most in Nigeria before i move get out again so i need the best of your knowledge how to go about it, my girl and her parents back home have a very good citizen status are willing to do anything to aid and fasten the process. My woman's father suggested that he applys for an invitation letter for me to visit and then maybe we can kick it from there if that would be faster but i told him i don't know yet cos truly i don't know so am seeking advice from the more knowledgeable of you guys to help out with what you know about all of these cos am black out of everything. . . About 3 yrs ago when i was in Nigeria i applied for Student Uk visa and was denial twice, The last time unfortunately, i used a fake bank statement due to the advice from a pal in the bank that too 45k from me and promised to make a bank statement with some millions in it.which i thought he could no because he worked in the bank, (there was no finger print taken in my application then for visa)

I appled with the bank statement he gave me for the UK visa and was denial , reason fake bank statement, i was give a right to appeal, but due to the fact that i no whaz up i droped the whole idea, the guy that i gave the money for the bank statement disappear,

Presently i am in romania which happen to be in EU and also a shengen country, i now have my citizenship because myb spouse is a romania,

Are you sure this was 3 years ago? The maths just don't add up. For instance if you were applying for student visa to the UK were you married to the Romanian citizen at this time, as a prospective student? This is because for you to have Romania citizenship 3 years after applying for a student visa with a fake bank statement seems way too fast for me

In any case, if you have a genuine Romania passport there is nothing to fear as you wont be printed on arrival in the UK. that is for those outside the EU. Also they will only need to confirm that your passport is authentic to admit you as a visitor but you may need permission to work as a Romania citizen if you want paid work

Hi forum.My lil sister is a winner of DV 2010 and her husband is a derivative.Her derivative(spouse) bears ADEDAYO JONATHAN OLUWADAYO(not real name) on his birth certificate and some other documents.But in the first notification letter sent to them by KCC,the spouse shortened OLUWADAYO to DAYO (i.e. ADEDAYO JONATHAN DAYO).My sister is restive and she has sought my professional advice on this.As a professional in the field,I suggested to them that the spouse should do 'to whom it may concern' in the national newspaper and back it up with an affidavit .However,they were of the opinion that he should do another e-passport. I prefer my advice to theirs because of the following reasons 1. For him to obtain a new e-passport,he will need to travel from Lagos to Abuja to do it.Two,since all his academic documents bear OLUWADAYO JONATHAN ADEDAYO,obtaining a new passport may be an exercise in futility.3.The spouse has been a past winner of the DV programme,so the embassy will have his database.I hope I am in order.Or what do you feel?
