Nothing left to play for this season again. I long gave up on top 4 when I first heard that a Jose Mourinho team always finish the league in the position they found themselves after the 12th league match. Looks like that jinx hasn't been broken. All that unbeaten run and our romance with 5th position was just false hope. I didn't let myself carried away by that.


the only thing left to play for is the Europa league final and that's it. we have to win it. there's no other choice, unless UCL doesn't interest us.

my one and only worry is the people who will make up our centre defence in the final and the coach's tactics.

With regards to this summer a lot will depend on of we win the europa league and qualify for the CL. So it'll be tough to say who we will sign.

Jose should be gutting out the squad this summer. As its bloated but not enough quality at the highest level.

Buying more players is not the issue. Buying the right players, deploying the right tactics,not anti-football tactics. These are what matters.

Not playing wingers/attackers as fullbacks, forwards as extra defenders.

We MUST get past Celta Vigo on Thursday. There is no other option.

Jose most likely realized we were destined to finish 6th, so he quickly changed focus to winning the Europa at all cost. I won't say I blame him. with all our numerous draws at home, we were never going to get anything tangible in the league. the Europa was the sure way and he probably just recently realized that.
