TV/Movies › Re: Share The Best Nollywood Movies You Watched In Recent Times by DAramis: 5:30pm On Mar 12, 2021
Living in bondage (with English translation)

The original version and the pioneer of Nollywood. I have not even finished watching it but it is an interesting movie.

The film touched on verious societal ills like greed, envy, inordinate desire for wealth etc unlike what is obtainable now in recent Nigerian movies (only love, sex, cursing etc)

Wow... Really missed a lot, studies no be beans for here oh. Pls guys if you're coming to Poland for studies and on getting here you discover you can't cope for one reason or the other please inform your school as early as possible. It's been causing issues for few people oh cos I know many of us came for the hustle.
Na wah, could you elaborate on what kind of issues they are having? School fees or what? And hope their studies are in English? if it is not, it would definitely not be easy for them.

Thanks...will check it out...
You're looking for Masters?
Ah, bsc is little hard to secure scholarship on except following the popular ones which still have age requirements or restrictions on.

I am just following her for knowledge purposes. I will send you a link about one I saw online for you to check out though majorly for Muslim people (sponsored by Islamic Bank in partnership with other organisations).

Everything is fine.....

Well, kind of. I'm checking out different ones any that works for me it's cool....
Majorly a scholarship or tuition free....
Nice, all the best. And don't forget to look into Italy thread... saw some info about schools offering scholarships and tuition free admission but the living allowance is where the issue might lies in. They have regional scholarships also.

Once you are going for msc, there are virtually many scholarships opportunities available online for you to look into.

That's what I have been emphasising

Didn't she saw the family she was being married to
Her leaving Harry would be so humiliating
Not only humiliating, it will break him (and if care is not taken, might take extreme decision just to exit this world.... It was already alleged that he is an alcoholic person). The wife is the only thing he got now since he separated from his family.

Also, the country he is living in promotes women more than men. She will definitely have custody of the children if worse comes up and his family would not be there to support him in his battles since he is the one that cut them off in the first place.

My continuous hope is that, they should live and withstand all pressure that might crop up in future (especially from her wife's end). His mother's death already had a big scarr on his life, family alienation made it deeper, losing the wife to divorce (though not hoping for such for him) would definitely tip him over.

But on a lighter note, He could have stilled married a sweet 18 year old girl with tear rubber permit grin rather than this his current wife with fairly lipsrsealed. I have never heard any single scandal about his elder brother's wife sha.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Interview With Oprah: Top Takeaways (Pictures) by DAramis: 10:25am On Mar 09, 2021
It will be very unfortunate if this megahn dump Harry if there should be any issues between them in the future.

I hope she would be willing to make sacrifices for Harry just like he did for her by sacrificing his family and choosing her. But in Africa, such cannot happen sha because you marry into a family not an individual.

Travel › Re: Polish Student Visa by DAramis: 10:58am On Mar 04, 2021
For the person saying that I might be naive or that my uncle or Whatever is processing my visa for me, well you are entitled to your opinion.

For the records, I am not applying for studies in Poland but have followed this thread to some extent (probably from the beginning) so have an idea of what is obtainable.

I stated that it was an oversight from me but you refuse to see that, but rather went ahead to make a derogatory remarks about me. Well, it seems like not contributing on this thread would be the best option.

As for the guy, he stated, he used 3.5 million and was denied. All things being equal, if it was as a result of financial reason why he is denied, the best alternative would be to upgrade the value of his credit card (Which I gave a rough estimate by stating it was my own opinion not the embassy). The picture I uploaded gave the monthly living expenses expected of the student as 701 PLN minimum which we all know is subject to change..... Minimum was what was stated not the permanent exact amount.

In conclusion, I already advised the guy to do what he or she feels is the best rather than holding on to my comment and looking for things were there is none.

Yeah, I feel so especially with regards to this covid 19. I am not applying for visa at the moment. Just following the thread for knowledge purpose.

Poland is a good country. I hope to be there in the future by God's grace.

What they stated is 701pln for a month , Oga multiply 701 by 12. Oga bend your head And punch your calculator, you will get 8,412. Now listen (Bring your Ear close Oga, let’s take 120 to be the maximum rate for pln (8,412 * 120)
Oga you will get less than 1.4million.
Now Oga tell me what again you don’t understand. Abi you get another Poland wey we no know of?
Oga no vex.

Just do what you think is the best for you. I no be visa officer neither am I consular general of Polish embassy.

Swazy22:
Bro, first no one here understands this your calculations, where did you pull 480 from and where did 14000 pln come into play.

Secondly, if we have 6 m, we will be pursuing someplace better , Uk at least, Uk is point base, once it’s complete you get your visa, the problem is the funds for school fees.
No be Poland wey be last born for Eu, go tell us we have to get up to 6mil, how many of there citizens have such in there acc
Check this picture below :

I approximated the amount to be 14,000 PLN ( to cover other exigencies. As for the 480, it is black market rate for dollar. It was an oversight from me. (Rate for PLN is around 100 naira per PLN).

But, I still think that having that expected amount would cover the aspect of Proof of Fund for the living allowance of the student in a year.

And lastly, you can never get UK with 6 million naira, NEVER. if it is possible, everyone will borrow money and go to school in that country. The cheapest school in UK is 9000 pounds (around 4.5 million), living allowance in a year is around 10 thousand pounds....

Please it seems that 3.5 m cc is no longer enough for financial requirement. Has anyone gotten visa with that this year
I think it is dependent on city. Try and use black market rate to convert the money and update your credit card.

Polish zloty = around 14000
Naira Black market rate = 480

Naira equivalent = 480 * 14000 = 6720000

Minimum in your account should be within 5 - 6 million naira.

Things has really gone bad. Imagine a UK returnee trying to contribute his quota in allivating the suffering of the unemployed by setting up farms but ended up being kidnapped.

Not only that, the same farm which would have provided job opportunities for unemployed ended up being sold, his cars sold and personal properties.

Tomorrow, one unfortunate government official will mount the podium and preach to the diasporans to return home and contribute towards development of Nigeria.

In summary, the guy in question is going to jappa and might end up forgetting Nigeria entirely.
