Politics › Re: Trump Vows To Deport 3 Million Illegal Immigrants by davidif: 12:46am On Nov 14, 2016 |
Adextaiwo48: Donald Trump will keep his vow to deport millions of undocumented migrants from the United States, he said in an interview to be broadcast Sunday, saying as many as three million could be removed after he takes office. “What we are going to do is get the people that are
criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million — we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” Trump said in an excerpt released ahead of broadcast by CBS’s 60 Minutes program.
The billionaire real estate baron made security at the US- Mexico border a central plank of his insurgent presidential campaign, which resulted in last Tuesday’s shock election victory against his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. Trump added that the barrier to be erected on the US border with Mexico may not consist entirely of brick and mortar, but that fencing could be used in some areas. “There could be some fencing,” Trump says in his first primetime interview since being elected president last week.
“But (for) certain areas, a wall is more appropriate. I’m very good at this, it’s called construction,” he tells CBS. AFP Source please? |

Ps; Tell Baba to publish the handover notes Gej gave him. We've been begging for details since last year but it has been kept a secret so why bringing it up now ? Wrong! The Clinton foundation and the Clinton campaign are two different entities. The Clinton foundation might have had foreign donors but presidential campaign contribution is a whole different thing. Also, even if they did contribute the max you can contribute as an individual is $2,700 so I don't know where they got there $500,000,000 figure from. http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/citizens.shtml |

Even the whites that we try to immitate in all things, they are usually honest from the outset of the relationship. And u sit here praising a child who knows next to nothing abt life. Does the relationship revolves around her? swerve jor Good relationships are about mutual respect. It's based on two different people coming together, and understanding each other. That includes there values and principles. If both parties don't understand that, that means they are not compatible and that they should go there separate ways. The fact that you are talking to a girl does not mean that you own her. There is something called boundaries. |

Health › Re: England: First-ever All-out Doctor Strike Under Way by davidif: 9:01am On Nov 13, 2016 |
Enoquin: The first all-out doctors' strike in the NHS's history has begun in England. Thousands of junior doctors walked out of both routine and emergency care at 08:00 BST in protest at the imposition of a new contract from the summer. It is the first time services such as A&E, maternity and intensive care have been hit in the long-running dispute. NHS bosses believe plans are in place to ensure safety, but say the situation will be monitored closely during the stoppage which ends at 17:00 BST. Further all-out strike action is due to take place on Wednesday, between the same hours. Hospitals can request that junior doctors return to work if needed, but as yet no NHS trust has raised the alarm.
NHS England said "military level" contingency planning had been carried out to protect urgent and emergency care. Steps taken include: *The postponement of nearly 13,000 routine operations and more than 100,000 appointments to free up staff *The cancellation of holidays and study leave *Redeployment of consultants, middle-grade doctors and nurses into emergency care *More GP appointments being kept free for last-minute requests *An increase in 111 staff rostered on to allow the phone service to handle more calls
Patients are being urged to think carefully about how they use the NHS during the strike - a website has been set up giving patients details about what services are available where they live. NHS England's Anne Rainsberry said: "Clearly industrial action of this type can put significant pressure on the NHS. We have been working with all hospitals to make sure they have plans in place to provide urgent and emergency care." She said those plans were "robust" and hospitals were "confident" they could cope, but the situation would be kept under review.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-36134103 This is one of the dangers of having a govt healthcare system like they do in England with the NHS. |

Juxtified: The inferiority complex will not allow all the Nigerian doctor bashers to comment on this. The few that come might want to give ''valid reasons'' while this strike was essential, or that it was properly conducted. smh This kind of thing can never happen in the US. This is what happens you have govt run healthcare. One of the reasons Donald Trump won handily in this last elections was because he promised to repeal Obamacare. A lot of Americans don't like govt interfering with their healthcare and that's why Obamacare has been very controversial. |

He came to visit you, the least you could have done was to kiss him..
Haba What kind of absurd reasonong is that? Does she have to kiss or hug him? See trouble o. The girl has principles and If the boy cannot respect the fact that she has boundaries then he doesn't deserve her. He should go find some other girls he can try that with. In my honest opinion, the girl is very lucky to have dodged a bullet by breaking up with him. |

21Savagw: So My lovely Troublemaker aka my Surest cousin Hit me up. And she was Sobbing, after I consoled her and asked what's wrong she said her BF of 4 years hasn't showed any signs of proposal. She swore he was loyal and loved her but he was still trying to make it in life, He is in Medical school at University of Texas.
She is approaching 29 and wants to tie him down but she feels since he's marrying into a rich and affluent family like mine he wants to get his license as a symbol that he isn't after her money.
Now my cousin is a Nurse and they make over 50g a year also, I have stumbled on some of her stocks and shares in our family business and boy oh boy does she make a lot of money.
I advised her that when next they are having sex she should just lock her legs round him and tie him down with a pregnancy afterall that's a Lil bit of insurance.
What's your opinion on this, does she wait or move on or try and tie him down with a baby because she's really desperate from the look of things and I understand this sort of thing only happens when women are reaching their 30s.
Advice please. Wait what?? This has to be one of the most absurd things I have ever read on nairaland. Its so ridiculous to even believe. |

If any governor deserves to be arrested while still in office, Fayose qualifies for that honor more than anyone else.
But be rest assured that your misdeeds will someday find you out eventually. Why can't they change the amend the Constitution tp allow for prosecution via a referendum? That way we can arrest corrupt governors in public. |

obailala: I really don't understand what's wrong with the CBN and this meaningless price regulation... you do not force down the exchange rate by forcing people to sell their forex at a very low price (even when they can clearly see the amount they lose). Stupid policies like this will only discourage people from engaging in exports to boost forex supply. This useless policy is the very reason Nigeria isn't reaping the potential benefits of the last devaluation (in terms of increased exports and increased income for exporters).
Similarly, the CBN forces diasporans sending money home to exchange their forex at the low official rate, but when family in Nigeria wants to send money abroad (e.g. to children schooling abroad), they are forced to buy forex at the true rate (blackmarket rate). I still wonder who advises the CBN board that this policy can encourage people to send more forex home. Maybe Buhari is not listening to his advisers and his actually overriding there recommendations because he doesn't trust there solutions. Either way, I blame it on the Nigerian school system that values cramming and memorization over actual learning. It seems as if Nigerians mistake cramming ability with actual intelligence. The CBN needs to be overhauled completely like they normally do with companies that are woefully underforming. Then they should go out and bring outsiders with new ideas and a fresh way of thinking after all you can't solve a problem with the same kind of thinking that caused it in the first place. I would suggest he hires bright and brilliant people who got Ph.D in economics from the best schools in the West like MIT, Oxford, Cambridge , Stanford whether they are Nigerians or foreigners and not people like Adeosun who only has a master's from a school that my friend who lived in the UK called a third rate school. You can't solve a problem with the same thinking that caused it in the first place. Having said all of that, none of this would make much of a different if Buhari does not know how to delegate or do with his advisers tell him to do. |

Believe whatever you want and if you think that Trump is most women's dream, may your daughters and sisters marry a man like him. You live in Europe, he lives in America and he is telling you how some American women tend to be more conserivative. |
