Chai! Its seems as if black people like to over do things at times. If you tell them to wear jeans to work they would take it a step further and probably come to work with bum shorts or cut up jeans showing thighs and even there backsides at times.
If you tell them to pose for pre-wedding picture they would want to do extra to gain more attention. Why do some people like taking things too far?

This country would be better off if those assets were being run by private enterprise as supposed to being run by the govts. There is a reason why Naija does not work and its because it has a huge overbearing government that tries to run everything. Govts have no business getting involved in industry (except when they are regulating it). STATISM does not work!

You can't predict the time frame of a recession no matter how educated you are. But what you should be able to do is to put measures in place to lead the country out of it and from the looks of things, this woman does not seem to know what to do.

1. You have to write a constitution that reflects your society.
2. The Governor needs to be accountable to his constituents and that means not being protected from criminal charges (not civil lawsuits).
3. The Attorney generals and state judges should be elected by the people just like the Governor is. This is how things work in a lot advanced democracies.
4. There should also be a provision in each states constitution that allows for a governor to be recalled (a mandate for a new election) If the people don't have confidence in him like they do in California.

So you prefer the status quo? Na wa o. No one should be above the law. I would prefer the governor face lawsuits than to be free from accountability. That's what they call the rule of law and withour it, this country can't reach it's potential.


As far as i am concerned, the Governor should only be immune from civil lawsuits and not from criminal charges like corruption.
