Most people around here are Lagosians who pay tax to Lagos government and do all transactions in Lagos.

It baffles me alot, with the revenue generated and the number of industries in Ogun state.
The state in times of infrastructure is worst than most state with less revenue in Nigeria.

In Ogun, the roads are worst than all the worst roads you can think about in South East combines.
I have always wondered and most times tears drops out of my eyes.

You see Lagos ehhhn, people still insult all the Governors, but they work and fix there roads.
Ogun state is a good example of earning huge and it still wont show in your life.

I wish it could happen that way but Lagos state government won't take over those areas. Even Agbara case is still in court and they have not settled it. Lagos state has been dragging with Ogun state for years and it has not been settled. Most people till date didn't even know that Agbara is not Lagos state despite the dominance of Lagos state people. I'm not too sure about about OkeAro and other areas but Akute on the other hand has been a controversial area over the years.

I'm of this opinion that there should be a shared profit between the two states and I think that's what they have been doing in those axis.

Gunmen Suspected to be cultists have shot dead one Mr Bobby Kabah and his pregnant wife in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident, which happened on Wednesday night, is coming against the backdrop of the ongoing cult war between members of rival cult groups in the community.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the incident has thrown the community into confusion and mourning.

A community source, who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, explained that Kabah was relaxing with his pregnant wife at home in Agidiasei quarters when two gunmen walked into his house around 8.35pm and opened fire on them.

He said, “Bobby was at home with his woman because he is nursing an injury in his leg as a result of a motorbike accident he had recently.

“The gunmen entered his home from the back, met him and his pregnant wife and opened fire, killing both of them instantly.”

PUNCH Metro reports that the ongoing cult war in Ogwashi-Uku has so far claimed six lives in the last two weeks.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the killings on Thursday.

Edafe said, “Yes, it is confirmed. They are not husband and wife, but they were living together and killed in the same house.

“The Commissioner of Police has ordered to direct the matter to the state CID.”

Honestly, I think Genotype test should be the first before pregnancy. This is very important so that the life of the baby will not be in danger of sickle cell crises.
I could sense that that they ran genotype test for your kid when you were not around and he/she(your kid) is a carrier. I think that's why they are asking of your genotype.
Also what is your genotype and that of your partner?
I think your mother-in-law is doing the right thing. No parent will give their kids out to someone without genotype match.

A yet-to-be-identified man has allegedly fallen off from police vehicle shortly and died in Anambra State.

The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday at Ọgbọ Ọgwụ Market, by Port Harcourt Road in Onitsha, the commercial city of the State.

According to a video currently trending on the social media and a masculine voiceover that accompanies it, the victim was arrested by some police officers who came into the market and also seized some goods from the traders in the market.

It was further alleged in the video that, shortly after the arrest, while the police officers were speeding off out of the market in their vehicle with the seized goods and the victim who was handcuffed, he fell from the vehicle and hit his head on the coal tar and “died.”

The video also shows the black-dressed man lying lifeless on the ground with handcuffs on his hand while people gathered, watching, lamenting, and making videos of him.

When contacted by this reporter, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed having seen the viral video.

He said he had also forwarded the video to the Onitsha Area Commander, for investigation, especially concerning the circumstances surrounding the incident and the alleged police involvement in the matter.

The Police Spokesman also disclosed that the Command had sued for calm, assuring that those behind such inhumane act would be unfailingly unmasked.

“I am aware of the trending video and have escalated to the Area Commander Onitsha for investigation, especially on the allegations that our officers were involved.

“Meanwhile, the Command has sued for calm and assured that we shall unmask those behind the inhuman act,” the PPRO said in a chat with this reporter, Izunna Okafor.

Baartman's large buttocks and elongated labia were considered unusual and exotic, and she was put on display in London and Paris, where people paid to gawk at her.
