And one senseless actress keeps shouting there’s no money in circulation. Why is she not facing the state governors of these states? They receive the highest allocations in the country. What do they do with it?

How will the money circulate when you have those amount of jobless people depending on the few with jobs. What are the state governments doing?
BusinessRe: Nigeria Leads In African Start-up Funding With $94.9m by Debaiz: 6:20am On Apr 27, 2019
If you see anything bad that nigeria is leading in, go and check it, it is our population that is the problem.

The last time it was our GDP. My question is, it those leading countries have the population nigeria has will they still be able to boast of such GDP?

We need to try and control our Population that keeps skyrocketing. State governments need strong laws to control illegitimate births amongst the youths. You hear a 24year old jobless guy already has two kids and such guy will still blame the government.

Maybe you can add something to the thread by actually listing the federal, state, local (and other) taxes payable by enterprises in Nigeria - since as you say, you are 'into account, finance and taxation'. That way, the 'nonentities' won't be able to seize control of the discussion, right?

I'll set the ball rolling:

1. Corporate income tax (payable to the federal government. Add yours)
Corporate income tax must be payable to the Boko Haram government not the federal government of nigeria.

What's the difference between taxes and charges if not semantics, loosely speaking.....

Money still leaves your pocket in both and that's what matters...
If you read my comment well you’d see there’s a huge difference which I stated there.
BusinessRe: The Average Nigerian Business Pays 48 Taxes - Tony Elumelu by Debaiz: 6:51am On Apr 26, 2019
Tony Elumelu should tell us what and what taxes he’s referring to.

Except he’s using the wrong word. Maybe charges or fees but the word tax is wrong. This is the problem with this country. You want to complain of something, you’re using the wrong word to address it. The government will come out now and deny that there’s nothing like 48 taxes. If he had used the word “charges”, any nonentity will understand and will be hard for a dubious politician to dodge it.

I’m into account, finance and taxation before you come here and quote me.

Haaaaaa 3years budget without borrowing. So we have dis kain money and one useless actress is shouting no money in circulation.

Please EFCC should also do their own probing. I don’t trust these reps. If they receive money from the banks now they will keep quiet.

The parrot still refused to snitch on its owners even after arrest.

Very loyal parrot
CrimeParrot Arrested For Shouting “Police” During A Drug Raid by Debaiz(op): 10:20pm On Apr 25, 2019
A parrot has been taken into custody in northern Brazil following a police raid targeting crack dealers.

According to reports in the Brazilian press, the bird had been taught to alert criminals to police operations in Vila Irmã Dulce, a low-income community in the sun-scorched capital of Piauí state, by shouting: “Mum, the police!”

The parrot, who has not been named, was seized on Monday afternoon when officers swooped on a drug den run by a local couple.

“He must have been trained for this,” one officer involved in the operation said of the two-winged wrongdoer. “As soon as the police got close he started shouting.”

A Brazilian journalist who came face to face with the imprisoned parrot on Tuesday described it as a “super obedient” creature – albeit one that had kept its beak firmly shut after being “arrested”.

“So far it hasn’t made a sound … completely silent,” the reporter said.

Alexandre Clark, a local vet, confirmed the parrot had not cooperated: “Lots of police officers have come by and he’s said nothing.”

The Brazilian broadcaster Globo said the “papagaio do tráfico” (drug trafficking parrot) had been handed over to a local zoo where it would spend three months learning to fly before being released.

The bird joins a growing list of animals implicated in Brazil’s drug trade, although most have been reptiles.

In 2008, police seized two small alligators during a raid on a favela in western Rio de Janeiro, claiming local gangsters had fed their enemies to the animals. However, the father of one of the accused gangsters rejected those accusations, alleging his son’s gang had once tried to do so – but the alligator had refused to eat the corpse.

Two years minimum will be quite effective.
This is a law that any nation with morality especially Nigeria should have.

It will stop a lot of things and nonsense posts on The Social media. All those that support looting or canvass for the release or soft landing for a corrupt public officers will be looking at jail time.

This is what we get when someone has no job to go to early in the morning.
They wake up, come on nairaland and rush to post on front page as if that would earn them that elusive monthly salary.

You have not heard that in situations like this it is unwise to mention names until thorough investigation and arrests are completed?

And then the worst part; you want arraignment, prosecution and imprisonment within 2 or 3 weeks??

Bros you are a fool.
Bros that is not the worst part. The worst part is that the fool expects the military to arraign someone in a civilian court.

The population of entire Saudi Arabia country is less than Kaduna population. Give them a population density like we have, their crime will skyrocket. Im afraid of that because they will go from beheading 37 people to just condemning a whole village to the sword because Shariah police found a prostitute residing there.
Will you stop disgracing yourself. The population of Saudi is 33million twice the population of the most populous state in your country. More than the population of the whole SE more than the population of SS but guess what? Saudi population can never be as uselessly much as Nigeria’s cos they don’t give room for the birth of illegitimate children (that make up more than half of nigeria) in their country.

Politics as they say it's dirty.... grin Someone that was vice president of the country for 8years, participated and funded APC's presidential primaries pre-2015 election and now his nationality is being questioned.

I see it as distraction from the main issue.

The thing is both APC and PDP rigged in the last election but it's a case of one outrigging the other... grin

Though I am non-partisan but I seriously DOUBT if the court (in this case Supreme Court coz I expect whoever loose to take the case up to this level especially Atiku) considering the sensitivity of the matter and implications on unity and peace of the country to now declare PDP as the winner or call for another election.. This is based on precedence.

Nevertheless, I am really interested to see how it pans out.
It’s the normal thing everywhere in the world and it’s not a distraction.

Barack Obama was a US senator for 8years before he contested for the presidency, yet he was queried about his eligibility. They claimed he was Kenyan. He proved them wrong by providing his birth certificate showing he was born in Hawaii(US) and his mother too was American.

Let Atiku prove his eligibility. The historical families in sokoto and Jigawa should come and testify. Even as the Vice President he couldn’t prove his origin which left his then boss OBJ to say that his parentage is shadowy and covered in misery.

We can not afford to have a fraud dragging our sit of power. It’s insulting.

They’re all thieves trying to cover for their godfather. They think they can arm twist Buhari by writing a load of jargons and he will just fall for it. They must be joking not when he has a legion of legal luminaries surrounding him. 60% of his cabinet members are lawyers, including his VP who is a professor of constitution.

iammo:
cool

They kept on forgeting that his Vice is the same professor of Law that defeated Afebabalola Obj/Atiku FG in court over lagos Local goverment creation, same Genius that saved Sanusi from Jonathan's FG.

Its difficult to win a legal brawl with a president with almost half of his cabinet members are lawyers, his own daughter is a lawyer.
Don’t mind them bro. Let them keep exposing themselves as the bad eggs. Nigeria shall overcome them all.

Guy na core Barça fan you Dey follow talk o.

Tottenham qualified from group stage on the last day.

They managed to beat their next opponent and qualified against man city on away goals. Meaning past form don’t mean anything in CL.

Up until Roma last season, Barca had not lost a single game.

I’m not saying Barça can’t beat Liverpool but they definitely have a stronger squad. Also they might have a stronger squad but we definitely have higher quality and better CL experience.

Barça have a a weak point in Coutinho, have a weak right back

But you can’t find a weak point in Liverpool.
