Who knows the going rate for preparing a gift deed? Is it typical for lawyers to charge a % of the gift? I’m not trying to be cheap but I also don’t want to be obtained. The rates I’ve been quoted seem excessive.

A lot of people prepared theirs themselves using and tweaking a sample draft to fit their situation and took it to the high court or notary public to notarize.

Let me explain that part to you since you dont understand why venita have a right to be moody...it isn't about nomination but betrayal of trust.

Venita pushed for Adekunle to be pardon and told angel gang......she said incase if they don't agree they let her know in advance......she came back to ask 3 times before nomination started mercy told her it Adekunle they are pardoning.

After everything doyin got the pardon....venita approach mercy and she lied to her she pardon Adekunle that it was angel that pushed for doyin to be pardon.

Venita started carrying angel for mind for not telling her there was change of plans.
Yesterday venita found out mercy lied to her after angel confess that it was even frodd and mercy that first rejected Adekunle suggestion cos she table ilebaye and Adekunle name before changing to doyin after she fought for it herself.

So is a combination of everything that is happening..........am not defending her just trying to cut her some slacks.

I know most Islanders don't like for Adekunle but common on we all can't dislike her.

Just to add to this, mercy was the one who said she dreamt adekunle will be evicted and that’s the reason why Venita started canvassing for pardon me votes for adekunle that week. I also watched it live that Monday when Angel mentioned adekunles name to frodd and frodd rejected it, Angel went to meet mercy sitting behind the couch and mercy also said it was doyin. After the pardon me please session mercy lied that it was adekunle she pardoned.

if you qualify for dropbox why not take advantage of it? Also recently people have had to dissociate dependants from their appointment profile for Dropbox but I don’t know if the same applies to regular interview, for clarification you should call the helpline.

Same way they said you don’t qualify for dropbox if you got your last visa outside nigeria but someone came here to say his Dropbox was renewed and his previous visa was from Ireland. It’s either they overlook some requirements intentionally or some people aren’t just lucky.

A family member renewed his visa this year via drop box with more than 4 months left. He needed to travel at a particular time and didn't want any stories. Visa was issued

Her experience was first hand, her passport got returned while her daughter got her visa renewed and she was called for interview but she resolved to travelling first before the interview.

Canadian immigration- L8, R7 W7 S7.
But if you want to max out you should target L8.5 W7.5 S7.5 R8
When you max out you get all the points possible from IELTS.

You are not far from the truth but also you can be stamped in 6 months or less stay and you spent 45 days instead of the 15 days you gave the custom and border officer and your renewal get denied.many of such cases are coming up in recent times.

When I wanted to renew my visa in 2019, I did dropbox in 2018 dec and got called for interview and attended this. A woman who was in front of my was called up to the window and was asked about her previous travels she answered and then she was asked how long will you stay this time she said two weeks then the officer said the last time you spent 3 months but you said two weeks and that was the end of the interview, it ended in a refusal for her and she had visited a lot of times prior to then from her responses.

Long and short it yes, staying long can impact your future renewals and also saying I’ll stay two weeks and going ahead to stay wayyy longer can also impact your visa although some people get lucky but for how long ?

Visa overstay is mainly after 6 months in US visa but in recent years staying over 3 months is a red flag. Many renewals were denied because of long stay but not up to 6 months. I always advise visitors who plan to renew to always keep to the number of days presented at the immigration desk of any US airport.

You don’t seem to get my post. The overstay in discussion is going and not returning not staying for 3 months and above. Yes, staying long may be an issue but staying behind and not returning with the intent of relocating is the main issue.
By the way, although 180 days the standard to be stamped in for, some get stamped in for lesser, so staying beyond the date you’re allowed in the usa is the issue.

Exactly. Nobody will tell them this truth. Even with money they just cannot settle with tourist visa. E go choke badly. The worst is facing deportation.

Really really how much do they want to carry with this shitty exchange rate that’ll be sufficient. With the many immigration pathways to Canada right now, it makes no sense to go and suffer in the usa without papers or facing removal order, running from pillar to post. To make matters worse many of them go with like 2-4 kids.

Not trying to be nosy or insinuate anything, but what is you and your spouses immigration status and how was it achieved? You don’t have to answer, just giving you something additional to consider that has come up in situations like this in the past.

I agree with this, how you achieved your immigration status may contribute to the future issuance of visa to your family members tied to your application, although some people get lucky.
Someone who overstayed her visa and used to apply with her family has a group got them all denied due to her immigration status and they’ve been visiting the USA for a long time prior to the overstay but the moment they returned to renew they all got refused on three attempts. Although they got lucky with their first one after she left and luckily renewed that one but after then they’ve tried thrice and all gotten refused.

No, it’s not a refusal. 221g is a pending status that either ends up in an issuance or a refusal and it ended up in an issuance so it’s not a refusal.

In this era when japa to UK and Canada is so easy. They want to become illegal immigrants!! Abeg oo! I hope they know it is not going to be easy and can backfire badly. Make we try to the do the honorable thing in as much as country come hard small. Na things like this de make visa process difficult for naija people dem.

A lot of them don’t know that holiday and relocation aren’t the same thing. The pepper they will smell will choke especially if they don’t carry money. I know people who did the same thing since 2016 they’re still struggling to balance till date.

Please what resources are you using for your writing and reading? Your scores are enviable please. What advice would you give for such scores?

For reading I didn’t use anything it’s about reading to understand and the answer is usually one word in the passage but the questions will be worded in synonyms, for writing I used IELTSLiz her tips are very very valuable.
Also there’s this British council IELTS app on the App Store that has the first three tests free then test four and five paid. I paid for it, studied the essays and letters and stuck to the writing pattern.

Another thing that may help is my job, I write a whole lot every day(letters, memo’s, legal opinions) and it helps me improve on my writing daily.

Are you saying I don’t need Social security to apply for the passport? Also, I thought the hospital is the one that gives birth certificate.

Hospital requested the SSN for me and it came in the mail a week later.
I went to 8000 N stadium dr early in the morning for the BC, it was a self service machine but there were two women to put people through in the case of confusion, it took about ten minutes , I paid $25(23 for bc $2 optional plastic cover)

For the passport I called the agency to book an appointment since it was within two weeks of travel(go around midday not morning because it’s a federal house with other federal agencies in the building so it took about two hours to get into the building in the morning)
I got the passport next day around noon.

Listening is driving me crazy, I have written ielts 4 times in the past 45 days ( cbt ), and in all I had 7.5 in listening. I am unsure what to do again. House, For someone with ADHD, how can I get 8 in listening?

Don’t worry it’ll be okay.
I took computer based thrice and in all I kept getting listening 7.5 Reading 8 writing 8 speaking 8.5(it was like a static result) I spoke with someone who advised I took paper just to see, my first attempt at paper I got listening 8.5.
For me it wasn’t about practice because I practiced and got tired. So I’ll offer same advise, try paper based, the 10 minute transfer time after scribbling your answers on the sheet is extremely valuable.

I gave birth in Houston, I got social in the mail in about 7 days, birth cert took 10 minutes in the office although I went in person, passport took 24 hours at the agency. Didn’t expect it to be brisk especially the social.
You don’t need social to get birth cert, go to the health department you’ll get it instantly, although I got my baby’s social but I never used it for any of her applications I just told them I don’t have the baby’s ssn just yet.

I reapplied one time I needed it and it was granted upon reapplication but this was not recent hence my suggestion to reapply.
