Thanks everyone for the suggestions, got one with delta airlines with a 4hr stopover at Atlanta.
Fair enough, it's usually about that to Houston and SFO too. If you want a shorter one you should call them after booking the ticket to put you on the earlier leg. I do this too sometimes, the best part about Delta is that you hardly pay for any changes but you pay for some.

Hi Everyone, Please I’m looking to book a flight to Orlando Florida and I need an airline that doesn’t require transit visa, with the shortest flight time and the least amount of stopovers. I don’t know if anyone can be of help. Cost is not really a problem.
Delta, United. My preference is delta.

no first time
I thought it was only those who qualified for renewal that were made to wait for dates to submit.
I’m not sure if it still works this way but when I used the emergency route two years ago I chose the available date(it was a 2024 date I saw then) I could see as of that day then I applied for emergency before getting approved. You can’t apply for emergency if you don’t chose a date doesn’t have to be a close date.

Reading this again I did several things wrong
1. I didn’t qualify for IW as my visa was yet to expire and more than 3 months validity
2. I had my dependent on the same IW appointment as I couldn’t figure out how to get Her a separate appointment even though She qualified for the IW
3. I used my previous passport photograph on the DS 160 form even though I submitted a different one for myself and my daughter
My advice to you will be to schedule your appointment for after you return from your trip. Go on your trip then return to renew your visa. All the best!

Hello again. Sorry, but have some questions:

Please who is the money order payable to? The Consular General? That info isn't on the site.
True the information of who it’s to be addressed to isn’t on the website I called them to get that, it’s addressed to - CONSULATE GENERAL OF NIGERIA.

Family Applications
If more than one member of an immediate family (defined as a spouse and/or child(ren under 18) will be applying at the same time, only one applying spouse/parent must appear in-person to submit the applications. If applying solely for a child(ren) under 18, one parent of the applying child(ren) must appear in person to submit the application(s) for the child(ren) - the child(ren) do not need to be present.

In-Person Application Requirement
Outside of the accommodations for immediate family applications (see above), each applicant must apply in-person.

We cannot return a passport during processing; therefore, do not apply for a visa renewal without an interview if you might need your passport for any purpose during the processing period.

Please I need your thoughts on this please.
I have a B1/B2 expiring 27th of October but I filled on my DS 160 I’d be traveling October 13th and since I head it takes 2 months for IW applications to be approved I applied for the IW with my daughter June 15th.

My daughter own came back approved about 1 week after. I only just received mine today with a pick form. Attached underneath

I need to travel like in 2 weeks and I have already bought ticket already. My concerns now are 1. My ticket is till December 4th as my sister just had a baby and I want to help while my current Visa expires in October.
2. Why was my daughter approved and I asked to rebook another appointment.
3. This appointment is it another IW or a normal appointment
4. Since my previous visa is still valid can I still go ahead and use it?
5. If I travel with this visa would I have issues at the POE since I have been asked to book another appointment?
Please advice I’m confused
You’re only eligible for IW three months before expiration of current visa and 48 months after its expiration. You didn’t read the instructions before submitting so you set yourself up for interview.
Your current visa is valid and if it wasn’t cancelled just yet then you can travel on it, I’ve seen stories like this in the birthing thread many years ago.

Hello House,

I applied for a USA B1/B2 visa in June Ending. Upon filling out the https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/ to book an appointment, I was informed I will get am email to book an appointment. When I waited for a week, I was worried, I sent an email requesting to know the delay in sending me the link to book an appointment, to which they responded that I will receive an email once my request is approved. Now I am worried because I need to attend a conference in October this year.

Anybody in such a situation or have experienced such should please advise me on what to do.
I will suggest you keep ringing them or sending emails to them. I got my approval to schedule an appointment for submission in less than 15 minutes, I was surprised because based on what I read on NL I thought it’ll be a forever wait time.

Please we need information on Nigerian visa on arrival
or an emergency travel card for baby. We asked an immigration officer and all he replied was to tell us to pay him N265,000 to process visa on arrival and he refused to answer any further questions.
Check the consulate of Atlanta website, I followed all the instructions there and I got my ETC in 2 days.
1) write a consent letter (you & spouse)
2) purchase money order from post office
3) next day return label to be included in the sending package
4)include photocopies of both parent’s passport biodata
5) baby’s copy of birth certificate.

This is what I can recall but please go on the website and follow the instructions on there it’s very self explanatory and straightforward.

I know it’s different for individuals that’s why I said he should switch to the other if he was taking one of the two, I made reference to paper because that was my own switch, long and short is take the other if you’re unsuccessful with the one you’re trying.

Thanks, she tried that. Her state doesn't have a Passport Agency and the 2 agencies close to her didn't have appointments available till next year. She tried another method and they told her to either pay an Expediter ($700 for 2 weeks' turnaround, minus passport fees) or wait till 7 days to her flight then contact them.
She should wait till 7 days biko, or get an etc to fly the baby out then do it in Lagos

Good morning everyone.

Please my sister is in the US and she has been waiting for her baby's passport for a while now. They're telling her 7-9 weeks for expedited. Is anyone else experiencing this?
She should call +18774872778 tell them the date on her ticket, they will give her an appointment at the closest agency to her and depending on how close her travel date is, she can get her baby’s passport same day or the day after. I got my baby’s passport the next day at the agency.

Hi, Moms. I have just had a baby, and I have excess ovulation strips and Pregnancy test strips (premom brand) to give out to anyone who’s TTC and can't afford to conveniently purchase as I know these things are costly and ovulation needs to be tracked, please you must reside in Lagos. Send me a dm.

I'm a PhD student with full funding(in mathematics). The school also gave me health insurance but it will kick in when I get to the school and register. The school will also pay me every month as a teaching assistant. I just got my visa to travel to the US. I'm currently 6 months pregnant. Will I be denied entry by a POE officer because I'm visibly pregnant?

My husband has saving of over 10k in his dom account in Nigeria. Should he print his statement and give me to travel?.

What will i say in case immigration notice I'm pregnant. Someone said that they will let me in because I have F1 visa and that my programme is for 5yrs. I will be traveling by August.

Please I need suggestions.
My personal opinion is that you’re good, and if questions arise, which may not, just show them you have funds to cater for yourself till the insurance kicks in, which is by resumption in August.

Good Afternoon house
Please any experience flying Airfrance as a preggy
Less than 30 weeks.....pregnancy not really showing
How was their service?
The fit to fly obtained at the airport too, how can one go about it
I have my doctors fit to fly but I heard you must obtain one from the airport health officals
I didn’t fly Airfrance as a preggy but Airfrance is shitty, klm is better, if you can switch to klm since they’re sister companies it’s better especially because you’re pregnant and you don’t need the stress.

I reached out to the hospital again yesterday. They faxed my itemized bill to me again and said because I was paying cash.3k was just for the hospital. I paid 1.200 dollars to the doctor. I had a vaginal natural delivery. I didn’t use epidural. And when I told them I want to pay the adjustment on my bill, they said I do not owe . The lady I spoke to told me to call back today to see if I can get a letter stating that I am not owing. My cousin had her 3 children in the same hospital as me and she renewed her visa. At the time I had this issue was durning Trump’s time ,when they placed a ban on Nigerians .
I agree with you, I know someone who got her visa renewed during the thick of that whole trump thing and she also had her baby in one of the those hospitals they were denying others for using. I feel your pain, just take your time to get that letter to state you’re not owing, I hope you can find favour during your next application.

It will only take grace of God for someone that Visited only UAE to get American Visa for tourism, except for other purpose, note some are lucky but chances are very slim. since trump era, America heavily rely on European visa like shengen, UK and canada to vet documents because America dont. if you have visited Uk, shengen , canada, u stand like 75 percent chance, I was at the embassy 2017 the VO asked me have u ever traveled to any European countries I said no, she refused me immediately. most of my friend that have been to UK or shengen got it. so take time and build ur travel history before applying again. same thing I did.
Lol, na America you just wash like this.
I don’t agree with a major part of this write up because there’s no clear standard set as to who they want and what travel history they want . I know someone who frequents London and other EU countries and got denied very recently, so how about that?
I also know many people without travel history who got their us visas. No one knows the set criteria or boxes you need to check to get a visa. You can only assume and keep assuming but you can’t correctly conclude based on false assumptions.
Trust me if we all knew what they wanted to issue visas then this thread will not exist because it'll be a waste of time,
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Debbieeeeeee:
@Sonia77B, search for a doctor in the city of your preferred place of birth who will send you an acceptance letter that he's willing to take you on upon arrival(this usually happens after inquiries and answering a few questions) I know Dr Z in Houston charges $300 for that letter but the one you'll contact may take nothing, may charge less or even higher. It makes you look prepared if requested at POE and it also may not be requested. We can't predict these things.

I didn't get it please @Debbieeeeee. Do you mean that your we're traveling to US up and down for your antenatal. And you now have the correspondences to travel from Nigeria again for delivery.
It happened I had to be in the US a couple of times during and prior the pregnancy and of course before the pregnancy I took the opportunity to find a doctor who planned the pregnancy, see my doctor those times, consult via telemedicine when I was in nigeria and establish a doctor-patient relationship.
My experience is not the typical leave at 34 weeks or sometime later and meet the doctor then for the first time which is the most common experience on here because of a few things here and there.
