Prior to then I had been to the office for check ups(tests & consultation) and registration. Beginning of my pregnancy I was also there for confirmation u/s , all these docs put together are correspondences. Cbp officer didn’t check these docs although I had them ready but he asked and I answered in the affirmative.

Book via Expedia if the airline’s website is declining your Nigerian usd card.
Check your itinerary on local airlines like southwest, United, delta , AA, frontier.

For me I bought almost all the things my daughter used till she was 2years in the US.

I completely concur with this. I did the same too, it’s advisable to buy till the baby turns 1 or 2 if one can afford. Bought everything sent through sea shipping, carried some because I had a lot of luggage allowance too.

It’s best to stay where you have family and assistance, assistance after child birth is gold. The money you save from going somewhere cheaper will eventually be put towards accommodation and moving around.

AZ used to be a popular place on the thread when MHIS or MIHS (now valleywise) was still a thing but those times have passed. Since then I can’t recall seeing anyone on this thread saying they went to AZ if I’m correct.

If you're doing this make sure you do it 72 hours before the interview.
When my parent renewed I applied in Feb and the interview was in November I didn't update the form(a personal decision and just sheer laziness on my part) but it did not affect anything, she got her visa.

Got into the US via delta airlines Atlanta and it was pretty seamless.
Why are you in the USA, I went straight to the point and told him to have my baby.

My visa expires in this month of April but I was allowed in for 6 months as no more physical stamps, check I-94 website.
My passport will be left with less than 6 months of validity by this April too.

I got this visa for holidays in May 2021 via interview renewal (dropbox was suspended then) and I used it thrice for its purpose prior to this trip, so plus this trip made it 4 times. This is my 10th trip in total to the USA also.

I submitted a DS 160 (Non-Immigrant Visa) on behalf of my Mum in early 2022. I just discovered that I added only one name under the given names, instead of the two given names as it is written on her international passport.

For Example

Her passport's given name is below
Given Names: AAAAAA, BBBBB,

But, I added BBBBB, only,

And under the other names section on the ds160 form, I added AAAAAA, CCCCC (her maiden name).

Will this be an issue at the interview, and do I need to re-submit a new DS 160 form? Her interview is coming up in two weeks' time.

Fill a new form, call them to update profile with new number ? You can still do this till 72 hours before appointment date.

It is not wrong. Lets say I gave an alternative since the person I responded to initially said "their bank refuses them letter". So does that mean theres no other way?? I have sponsored someone on EE that did not submit the "bank letter" and is in Canada as we speak so calm down ..

I have said get it if you can, otherwise, there is always an alternative. Rest abeg!

If you read the IRCC website the requirement is the letter but due to inability of some people being unable to get the letter in the exact format IRCC wants then they resort to using bank statements as an alternative or backup. The letter is what is required and not bank statement, if you can get the letter in the required format then you don’t need a bank statement.

As soon as her circumstances change or if you strongly think there was an error in the officers conclusion which is usually unknown because they only state a generic reason as to refusal, then she can reapply.

Have you visited the student thread? Maybe they’ll have better suggestions.
In your previous emergency request did you include your I-20 and other necessary documentation or information that may aid them to grant the request.

What information did the agent put? Most of the agents act based on what you told them or lack. Of course if it backfires, na agent fault.

We are talking about appointment scheduling here. The lady clearly said agent didn’t fill her DS-160 form.

Me i changed my password immediately and after then i started getting notifications that someone is trying to log into my facebook and microsoft email account.

He was trying to gain access to the email inbox to change the email on profile, I think someone came here a while back after an agent did same thing to her, the guy changed the email on profile and seized the profile.

I know the exact feeling! I’ve never had to engage any agent before, but just like you, I had to use one because of the date wahala. When he was eventually done and I had paid him and dropped my passports, I asked for the password. You will not believe that this guy was arguing with me and asking me wat I needed the password for. My own application oh. I changed it for him immediately and he sent it to me

The audacity of these agents even after taking money, what else did he need your profile for after receiving payment, he wants to help you monitor your application 😂

No, i never over stayed. I contacted an agent to do it and he made a mistake with my application, he only told me about the mistake after the application was submitted. Im sure he did it intentionally but i leave everythimg to God.Thats why im scared.

If it’s not material or a misrepresentation then just put your mind at rest.

On the last page during appointment booking via the website that’s where you get the option to enter receipt number, after entering receipt number then you get the option to choose a date.
If you can not get a hang of it, then call the customer service to help.

Drop box for fresh applicants? If that’s what you mean please Ignore the rumour, prior to covid wahala sef there was no Dropbox for freshers, even some of those qualified for Dropbox get called for interview sometimes.

I'm asking because someone booked an interview date earlier and got 2024 interview date and the person is trying to reschedule for an earlier date and a request is showing on the dashboard now sent to the embassy to grant an early date.

This probably looks like an emergency appointment request to the embassy.

Example, if my resumption date is 8th May 2023, and today is already 13th May 2023. This means that I have less than 60 days to my resumption (56 days precisely).

I'm sure she didn't mean it in an offensive way. She probably just wondered that time should have overtaken those events. Please, you don't need to react like that. A lot of us already addressed the issue within the spur of the moment in which it happened. Of course, it's your prerogative to react as this is a public forum but I'm sure everyone have learnt a thing or two from that episode and moved on. I understand how you feel cos I felt same way at that time but I doubt I would still have reacted same way if the event was as stale as it is now especially if I had seen that others condemned the statement immediately. I think you should try again, I know someone who was refused twice during trump administration and tried again for her last baby and got it via physical interview. She didn’t do anything different.
Not trying to raise hopes or dictate what your chances are but just try again.

Once a reference is made to your profile form number, you should be safe..

Wes is different. Some people have had issues with IRCC due to third party payment while some haven’t and didn’t have any issues. So everyone is just trying to be careful by asking if there won’t be any issues at all. Wes is an entirely different body.
