RodeDindu: Can one track a UK visitor visa application process with GWF number only?
If yes, where can one get the link please.
Asking for a friend who some agents are dealing with. Call call centre and give them gwf and full names, submission centre, that should be sufficient |

AmeliaT: Hi everyone,
I have a question that’s a little off-road. Please help! Has anyone successfully applied for a U.S. visa from the UK and sat their interview over there? I mean Nigerians with just a tourist visa. Just wondering if this is permissible and feasible for my husband who wants to renew his U.S. visa due to the long waiting times in Nigeria. The website says they can take applications from all nationals regardless of their status in the UK as long as they’re not illegals but I want to know if this has worked for anyone practically. Thanks for your advice. I heard the Uk wait times aren’t any friendly either or has the situation there eased up? |

kokolanre123: Good day Makano thanks for always below is the response i got after telling the school we cant make the Jan 13th deadline and choose the deferral option
Response: Your deferral request to May 2022 intake has been received. Currently this intake is full. You are now on a May 2022 intake waiting list. An approval of a deferral request is not guaranteed and is dependent upon seats becoming available. We will contact you at a later date should any seats become available.
Please note that effective immediately, your seat for Jan 2022 intake will not be kept.
There will not be an updated Letter of Admission unless seats become available.
So my question is , Do we inform IRCC about the latest development ?
And also we forgot to mention a US refusal in the form filled for my wife, Do you think we should send a letter of Explanation via webform saying it was an oversight?
Please your answers are needed urgently
Thanks once again Forgetting to mention a USA denial in your Canadian application will be seen as misrepresentation, it’ll be better to do a convincing LOE, send as a web form to sort yourself out. Those who omitted such and didn’t do anything to rectify it didn’t end well as per their applications. All the best with this, this alone should keep you on your toes. |

Cycloe: My sister was denied visa today. Any advice on what’s best for her to reapply . Note : she is unemployed, but receives monthly allowance. She was truthful about her status. In my opinion, I’ll say unemployment is not the issue here because I filled my application as unemployed I resigned from my job with the federal government in March 2021 because I became very busy doing other things that’ll boost my career. Is your sister married? What documents did she submit from your sister who is sponsoring? In my case, I put my husband as the sponsor and put all my academic certificates from LL.B to date. I did an explanation in that box provided as to the reason I am not working now and I provided evidence of what I have been doing and progress thus far. I put my account statement reflecting my savings and inflow and outflow of over 80m( I printed a one-year statement for everything so they can see) I added my USD statement because I have the bulk of my savings in USD. I added my husband's salary account, 2 savings account. I also just returned from the USA a few days before submission. I have been visiting the Uk since I was a kid but I knew I had a lot more to prove due to my present Unemployed status. I have a registered business I didn’t declare because I have not even had time to run the business since I put my hand into whatever I am doing presently. If you’re unemployed or in a certain position that casts an aspersion on your immigration intent you have to prove a whole lot more with genuine things. |

leef2022: Greetings Debbieeeeeee and permit me to add the Prophetessssss, but no enter Mummy G.O levels oooooo pls Now, whilst still in the spirit I quote, 2 Corinthians 13:1 says "This is the third time I am coming to you. Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses".CSB version.
2-3 elders had stated 3 months as being too much or too long.
personally 3 months is not too much, not too long (there is no immigration rule as such) thus, i'm so sorry, but I could not have allowed the establishment of such matter without an objection not when 3 and more respected elders and gurus on here had suggested so.
As long as your visa would be valid for the duration of stay and one can demonstrate he/she would exist UK territories after his/her visit; also he/she should be able to explain why and what he/she will be doing for most or all of his/her visit, as such 3 months is not too much for a 6 months visa, and i believe this applies to old and new applicants.
He/she can re-apply at anytime, but must get it better next time.
Thanks and God bless. I'm a prophetess of God o, I no be that trouble mummy GO abeg Re 3 months stays, there’s no rule on paper That says you can't stay 3 months capital yes but what obtains in practice? Re second to the last paragraph, anybody that does not want to be sent back especially a first-time traveler not visiting their children shouldn’t state that. Yes, they always say this but if you try it most times it may not end well. Permit me to say during My last USA visa renewal interview at the Lagos consulate in VI a certain woman was asked how long are you staying she said two weeks then the officer briskly cut in and said but the last time you stayed three months plus he referred to other times she had stayed longer than 2 weeks and that was the end of that interview, I witnessed this happen. Yes, they’ll say if you can demonstrate bla bla bla, please don’t be used as an example for demonstration just stay 2/3 weeks, if you have a family you’re going to reunite with max one month if you’re retired and you’re going to visit your kids yes 3 months is presentable even 6 months sef. |

leef2022: That could have been the op's case as highlighted, and considering the op is a pensioner, i personally do not see any urgency why he/she would have needed to return home or why he/she can not afford him/herself a 3 months vacation abroad. The op's friend may just have intended to foot part of such bills for medical tourism or something deemed important for their friendship. The refusal says the documents provided don’t show these funds from the sponsor. Yes, there’s no urgency to return him but going to spend 3 months sleeping and waking up abroad and as a first-timer, in his or her application is not the right way to present one’s case. If the sponsor was the writer's child yes it would have been acceptable but in this case, it is stated friend so there’s a lot more to prove. Any first-time applicant to the Uk has a lot to prove because everyone is deemed an immigrant and only the documents provided refute that immigrant Intent. |

Hi, Olamzy45 Giselle and Amelia have hit the nail on the head. You don’t apply to a developed country saying you want to spend 3 Months on holidays, nobody takes a holiday of 3 months abroad except for maternity or other very pressing things like health and co. £3000 from your friend, this friend must be too generous I’ll say this application wasn’t well put together and you should never be in a hurry to reapply if not you’re knocking on the door for another refusal. Wait at least 6 months is what I always advise although it’s not a rule on paper it’s only customary. You’ve been refused once so your next application will be to be in top shape. I wish you all the best. |

atoke2021: E shock you too abi. I know that birth companies do this but to see an individual offer this based on just at I have born in Canada is very surprising. As if the course will give you magic that grant you visa and entry at POE. Reminder that we should try not to exploit each other and always think about how we would feel if someone did that to you. My thoughts exactly! The course doesn’t grant others visa so why exploit others to sell course too them. Even if it’s grants visa is she the visa officer or entry clearance officer, will she let them in at the border. Only the gullible ones who cannot research what they want will buy. I’ll also like to believe this so called person selling course has to be a celebrity or have a popularity of some sort on instagram. It is well. |

The email just needs to state your intentions in a respectable tone; there’s no science to it.
Example below:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Good Afternoon and a Happy New Year to you.
I would like to know if a decision has been made on this application? The application was submitted X months ago with the biometrics done over X weeks ago. Do kindly share status.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Your Name You get strength. I go straight to the point , what’s the update on my application. Whenever they reply still awaiting decision I’ll say I’ve been waiting for so long . Paid email and paid calls were my consolation. |

artofalternativ: Oh thank you, the account is genuine I just wanted to be sure of what I'm doing before I upload rubbish Don’t worry it’s not rubbish, upload it, they have their means of authenticating if there’s any doubt at all. Most forged statements are also signed and stamped |

artofalternativ: I know some are still waiting, it's hope I'm using to hope I decided to go forward with the application but informed the event organisers that it's a very very long shot. Going in to do my biometrics on Thursday morning, worst case scenario is that I lose less than N100k in fees.
A question about the self-service doc upload, is the bank statement that you can generate online okay or do I need one that has been signed/stamped by the bank?
Also I thought TLSContact was closed during public holidays, that's why I thought it was ten business days. The one you generate from your ebanking is enough and that is all i usually use for my applications. If your statement is genuine you have no cause to be scared if it’s from the bank or generated via ebanking. In the end it’s your statement and that’s that matters. |

I called 05/01/22 and was told a decision was made and got a collection email on 07/01/2022. I’ve said it several times, once a decision has been made then the rest is small. The main thing is for a decision to be made, once it’s been made then every other thing follows. |
