Good morning all. I need advise on the top floor of my build. We have completed the ground floor and done decking. The bricklayer is suggesting we use 9" block for the outer walls and 6" inside.

Isn't it possible to use 6" for the entire first floor instead of combining with the 9" on the outer walls.

NGX has the potential to grow if management will not do business as usual

They probably won't have made any profit if not for income from those assets. That's just based on what I saw from there FY 2020 print. There expenses was more than their earnings for the year.

I gave a loan a while back to someone I had hoped would pay back using this system. After he paid the first 2 installments, he went to the bank to cancel the instruction and withdrew all his money.

When I asked what happened, he said he was also owing some other people that he needed to pay so he decided to settle them first before me. He never paid the balance and never mentioned about the money again(it was an amount I was willing to give out to him after if he had fully repaid the loan).

So you're very correct sir. And being who we are as Nigerians, honoring gentleman's agreement is the last thing a lot of people will do.

NSE should discourage delisting of shares by companies, rather they can do share buy back if they think their shares ate under priced.

If they must delist SEC and NSE must compel management to pay shareholders at an additional minimum premium of 10% on the intrinsic value of the stock

As of H1, there MD owns 50% of the total shares. I'll assume he has more to gain in delisting.

This is one of the best fin tech companies at NSE.Now that the policies of Lagos state is favouring them, they want to leave their shareholders because of the peanut dividends.Hope Lagos state is not in any form of partnership with courteville?

I agree with you. For a long time they have been making losses now when they returned to profitability, they want to go private. We go follow them enter the private.

For a 2hp pumping machine, what size of generator is best suited to have. It will only be used to pump water for fish farm and probably carry lighting points. It is not intended for regular household use. I am buying one for my fish pond

The sands definitely look like 3 trips of sand, just want to have an idea how many tons they are.

I opened my glove compartment and thought to check my AC filter and the attached was what I saw with rat faeces.

Any suggestion on how I can curb this menace cos I can't think of how this rat gets into the car.

I'll be replacing the filter though
