From this addendum, it means people who bought after the markdown will have their number of units divided by 4 to reflect the 9bn outstanding shares post reconstruction. Is this correct?

Their financial print is solid but they will likely not pay more than 0.42k as final dividend. Last yr they had an EPS of N1.82K. they possibly will exceed that this yr as well considering that by Q3 the EPS is already N1.61K.

If the same dividend is paid for 2020, your dividend yield is 6% if you buy at N7 today.

That's with the assumption that the value don't dip below N2.

From experience market can adjust the price to N1.

Share Reconstruction don't always favour shareholders.

My main worry with them is that they either pay paltry dividend or don't even pay at all most year end and they have almost 12.7bn in reserve according to that document released. I may enter again Sha if price become favorable

Every stock will record new 52 wks high except the insurance stocks that were mostly affected by rule 0.01.

Perhaps with the exception of wapic abi Coronation insurance. If you entered at the yr low, you should be sitting on 100% or more atm

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was surprised that selydion said it's the only fundamental stock left. I am still wondering why the hit in their 9months result was that bad considering that they have lots of jobs ongoing particularly in the south east and south south. I hold some quantity BTW but will appreciate anyone who could shed some light into why their earnings turned negative. Perhaps they will pay dividends from their retained earnings

JB posted a negative earning nine month ended September 2020.
The stock market could be very unpredictable though.
Last year was good for the company but the price did not go anywhere.

We are in a bull market and I think we are getting to a point where prices are driving up more by sentiment than any fundamental.
Will not be surprised if JB joins the bull even with the negative earning.

Let me share a rule I use though I am not sure of the qty you currently hold. Assuming you bought 100k unit of each stock you mentioned and they've already turned 100%, sell off half or more of your holdings in each one to recoup your capital including all charges then leave the rest to generate residual income for you pending when you decide to sell them. You can start offloading in bits to see if there will be more upside. That way you sell less units to get back your capital and still keep more to enjoy dividend.

My initial plan on holding FUGAS for dividend purposes for at least one year is on the verge of being distorted having made 100% on G and Z, and almost 90% on F,U and A. Now the problem is should I stick to the initial plan or just book profit and run.
