This is a new low for the forum called NAIRALAND...irrelevants, senseless and utterly stupid threads and comments amass here daily. Obviously, Op is a little boy who should be concerned about taking his own destiny in his hands, but he choose to major in irrelevants. Nigeria is in deep trouble!

Lovelyn451:When things are taken out of context and perspective, then you have already denied it of sound and fair hearing. Just as you cannot get "justice" without facts and figures, you cannot also use emotional argument to debate/win pragmatic discussions. The thread is about eulogizing a DEAD sage in the medical profession, not thread open for discussing who or how has passed generations failed the country! The fact that you enjoy bliss in your family, does it mean every family enjoy bliss? Does it also mean that the head of your family must go about from house to house in your community and ensure EVERY family enjoy bliss? Obviously, the answer is know! He can only contribute his quota and hope that others bring something on board to complement his contributions. It is just like a team! Everyone has to hold the ball at sight and each and everyone must deliver their own quota to ensure the team record success. Cheers |
Antichristus:Well articulated perspective! And thank you for mentoring that young chap! The thread was a tribute to a rare gem in medicine. A respect to a dead man who contributed his quota to the development of medical practice in Nigeria and beyond. It is disrespectful and totally insensitive to put the blame of a some bunch of looters, unfocused past generations, and opportunist miscreant on a dead man, who made use of the opportunity he had to study abroad, came home to contribute to the development of his dear country as the responder was doing. Okonjo Iweala schooled abroad and she is impacting the Nation's image as a whole. Chimmanda, Wole Soyinka, Achebe, Olarotimi(of blessed memory) are respected beings of the past generation because they contributed meaningfully to their beloved country. Those that contributed should be celebrated not casting aspersions on them, even in death. |
Seems there is a special kind of evil residing in the minds of Nigerians. Not only will Bubu be shocked by this, even the devil will be stunned! |
ModestGal:Well, it is so sad that @seun created a platform for sane intellectually developed individuals to congregate, share views, proffer solution, help and generally support the gregarious nature of men. However, cheap or free mobile data dole out by mobile operators has contributed to spike in the number of docile and senile riffraff like you on the internet. Do you have an idea of what it takes to really earn a B.Sc. not to talk of being an Emeritus professor of medicine? Truly, a prophet is not valued at his home. |
ModestGal:Shut your dirty mouth, you ignoramus! Yes, remain poor and continue to blame others for your failures and misery. That's what people that epitomize failure do! Just imagine the accomplishment this man was able to garner, the impact he had in medicine and the lives that were saved through his research works, yet a nonentity like you have the effrontery to spew thrash you wrote up there. I was equally impressed when I read about the father of Chimmanda, and the early days of Okonjo Ideals. I could only appreciate and hope I am able to give my kids the best out there. Greatness and success is a product of our mindset, thoughts and hard work. Obviously you have bitterness in your heart. Your case is pathetic to say the least! If your parents, family, government, guardian, society or friends fail you, don't fail yourself and your children! ModestGal:Well, it is so sad that @seun created a platform for sane intellectually developed individuals to congregate, share views, proffer solution, help and generally support the gregarious nature of men. PS: I would rather lick my own butt than lick that of a senile being like you! |
ValCon888:Yes. But this one will probably have less fluid. All the same, he is not upright mentally! |
GOFRONT:That is what matters to her! |
Gabrielobianyor:How much do you do something like this? In what format? I.e downloading it on Memory card and printed? |
tayebest:Yes, as a Nation we lost an epitome of knowledge! His wealth of experience and connection will be greatly missed. |
I will personally miss this man. Well articulated and softly spoken man. He was Obasanjo's personal physician. He still reads and strive to contribute to knowledge even at old age. May His soul rest in peace. Chai! His wife will miss him so much. |
scribble:Well, I get your point. But if everybody fvcking minding their business, you think you will be walking freely today? Go back and check history...your kind may be in Badagry slave cell awaiting export to a foreign sugar plantation, farm or better still, dead by now! Nothing is free. The "freedom you enjoy today was paid by someone (nationalist, your parents, freedom fighters, if you are a Christian I hope have a better understanding that Jesus paid your price in full, etc) else. Minding one's business is not poke nosing into someone else's freedom of expression and peace. |
MASTERCHIEF0847:Millions of dollars in flames! The vanity crew checking this post... VCV(vanity crew verdict) is: vanity upon vanity! ![]() |
Emmacolinho:Shut your dirty mouth! A sensitive issue like this and what your senile brain could process is how to infuse tribal taunt into it? Must you tribalize everything? The dunce like you will soon come and derail the thread with irrelevant bigotry and senseless tribalism. We really have a long way to go, with this kinds of individuals as "followers" of a leader. |
Yustash001:I am not a doctor, but I am sharing this from experience. Probable causes: 1. Water (harsh or hard) 2. Dirty or contaminated water source 3. The use on sponge (your skin may be irritated by it) Immediately try this: 1. Stop using sponge to scrub for a while. 2. Don't deep dry your skin with towel after bathing. 3. Disinfect your water (use detol or antiseptic soaps) 4. Try another source of water. If all these doesn't drastically reduce or stop it with 5 - 8days, then try to visit an hospital. |
This is an example of "trash"! What I just read is pure trash and it is almost turning my stomach. |
Who and who is not clean? Pray for who because he did what? Abi the "free madness" never leave Terry G skull?
|
jimyjames:Stop being tribalistic! It is just a picture.
|
Confusedgirl869:Baby girl, please don't let him have his way with you. He may "probably" have someone he wants to marry already. But whether he has someone else or not, never settle to be a baby mama. Go for what makes you happy. |
GOFRONT:It's not a crime not to know something. No one is above mistake or correction. And before correcting anyone, it's not fine to make them look stupid. |
Nah jealousy dey worry you. Seeing her talk to different guys nah eim dey increase your blood level. You don't expect a jobless person to still act like they are jobless when they have a job. Those phone calls, chats and seeing will reasonably reduce. And it seems you didn't prepare your mind for this. From what you wrote up there, you may be very possessive and you don't even know it. On the flip side, you may schedule a crucial conversation session with her. Tell her your observation, watch her reaction, clues and body language. Don't ever base your submission on her words. Don't make that mistake. Study her body language, she can't hide or coat that. If she doesn't love you or want you no more, please don't act like a sissy. Life goes on. Never beg for attention, time and love. Cheers! |

Please assist...i was driving and my BMW E60 suddenly shows transmission light on the dashboard. I noticed I couldn't accelerate again. I had to park and left it. Got back to it and we took, still selects gear well only the acceleration, it to a mechanic workshop. He checked the transmission fluid guage. He uncelotape the flow meter where rat ate the wire. The light didn't show again. He drove it round and I drove it too. Took the car from work to go home, after buying fuel, the light came on and I had to just slow home... Please advise. |
dhantey324:I doubt you know the difference between right and wrong.
|
GAZZUZZ:Well done for the job you are doing. Please assist...i was driving and my BMW suddenly shows transmission light on the dashboard. I noticed I couldn't accelerate again. This is quite sad and heartbreaking to read. The killer(s) have murdered sleep, they shall not know peace or rest till justice is served hot on them. May God Comfort the family. Quite sad. |
CANDYDADDY:You lack sense
|
chiemmanuel:Always resist the urge to "shalaye"!
|
Dirty people. You see them dressed in suits, regalia and the likes, but just go and inspect their houses...dirts! Sanwo Olu need to really bring back KAI and ensure the various environmental agencies start doing inspections and enforce cleanliness. |
All these made up stories are beginning to get extremely tiring. Please, enough is enough! |
Who cursed Africa? We Africans like to major in irrelevants and neglect what is germaine for development. Las las, the black continent may be colonized again! Neo-colonization happening now is child's play, compared to what is coming. |
