Politics › Re: Accredited Anambra Election Observers Arrested In Owerri, Imo State by Decryptor(m): 2:56pm On Nov 15, 2013
KwoiZabo: The Imo State Police Command Thursday arrested over 180 bandits with fake voters' cards, official identity cards of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and independent observer identity cards.

The hoodlums, who were heading for Anambra State ahead of the Saturday governorship election, confessed that they were coming from Osun State before they were arrested around 7.30p.m. in a hotel in Owerri, the Imo state capital, while waiting to link up with their contact persons in Anambra State.

Items recovered from them include two pump action riffles, live ammunition, 15 buses and other incriminating materials.

Although the suspects could not mention the political party they were hired to work for, it was gathered that they were paid over N50 million to rig in favour of one of the candidates.
Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Katsina, warned that Imo State will no longer be used as a breeding ground for criminal activities, adding that those arrested would be prosecuted.

He said the heavily armed hoodlums were in the state to cause breach of peace, stating that the operation against miscreants will continue unabated.

He further warned that the peace and security the command had worked so hard to attain will not be compromised by any politician no matter how highly placed.

However, one of the suspects, Salawo Ayodele, said that they were members of Justice and Equity Organisation and were mandated to monitor the Anambra election.
He disclosed that they were given N10,000 each as feeding money for the operation.

Manchidede: Their are lots of estates in the FCT but these are the most expensive ones. But are they the best?
https://dattnxmw6t66d.cloudfront.net/sites/default/files/styles/panopoly_image_full/public/news_articles/abujas-most-expensive-estates.gif

PEGGY’S POINTE
Peggy’s Pointe located along Aguiyi Ironsi Street, adjacent Maitama General Hospital, has been identified as the most expensive estate in Abuja.
The occupants pay rent in dollars, as the owners of the estate do not accept payments in our local currency. The rent per annum for a three-bedroom flat in the estate is between $70, 000 and $100, 000.

THE ANCESTORS COURT
The Ancestors Court is another estate worth mention. Located in the highbrow Maitama area of the FCT, the street from the gate into the
estate is lined on both sides by golden palm trees and flowers. The environment is serene and very homely. Rent and property sales transactions are also done in foreign currency here. For instance, rent for a three-bedroom flat is US$55, 000 per annum. Residents also pay a service fee of N2million for the facilities and services that give this estate an edge over others in terms of grandeur and luxury.

BANK OF INDUSTRY ESTATE
Bank of Industry Estate is located in Asokoro, another plush area in the FCT. There, accommodation is as high as what is obtainable in Maitama and Wuse 2. A house with closed circuit television (CCTV), generator and other attractive amenities goes for as much as $50, 000 to $65, 000 per annum. The area is mostly occupied by expatriates and high net worth Nigerian professionals.

CROWN COURT ESTATE
Crown Court Estate is situated behind Gilmore Building, off Shehu Musa Yar’adua Expressway, Utako, a little distance from the VIO Office and the Federal Ministry of Environment.
The apartments are valued at N55 million and costs N5 million to rent, while the duplexes are valued at N78 million each.

Desric: I thought this woman is Igbo, where were her Governors when the passionately hated and Dreaded yoruba(Fashola) took up her case and made sure that she lives again?" Igbos! Igbos! Igbos! Make una mouth no kill una o". Btw, when will we have this kinda facilities in Nigeria where we won't dying or rushing abroad for simple curable ailments? No wonder my brothers/sisters rush to the church to embrace God and blame satan( their enemy) for everything, praying fire and holy ghost burn and kill our enemies even when its a simple cough because if was comes to worse, no medical facility here to get good treatment and no money to travel abroad so we better run to the cheapest hospital which we can not see but believe, our church, our pastor and God. And that's why the whites are not as religious as we are because they do for themselves what need to be done instead of praying, fasting, casting and binding and waiting for the Lord to answer prayers. God save Nigeria
And so what? After assisting one igbo actress financially, you then decide to illegally deport over 50 Igbos you labelled destitutes under the river Niger bridge...and he thinks igbos will clap for him! Btw, he wasn't the only one who assisted her so get your facts right!
