Career › Re: Woman Loses Pregnancy After Alleged Kick From Lebanese Boss by Decryptor(m): 4:17pm On Dec 24, 2013
I'm not in support of this if it really happened but one thing i know is that most women usually use this their pregnancy as a form of blackmail. We all know that 95% of pregnant women suffer from hormone imbalance and can be so aggressive. The way the woman narrated her side of the story is to her own favour making the man look like a devil. We should get the man's side of the story and after that, you may find out that there is more to it!

Another thing that is odd is the fact that the woman refused to sign her termination letter several times. I smell the rat of blackmail. You can never know...it could even be an arrangement between her and her husband to get millions from legal proceedings as damages! Remember, this is Naija and people will do anything for money esp this yuletide season. My 2 cents

Politics › Anti-obj Ads All Over The Internet! by Decryptor(op): 7:56pm On Dec 19, 2013
I couldn't help but notice that for about 2 days now, most of the sites i visit which have google ads on them portrays negative reports on the past Nigerian leader Obasanjo. Banners ads which have headins such as "See how Obasanjo slept with his son's wife", "Obasanjo looted treasury to start his farms"

Just visit most popular sites like most major newspaper online websites and see for yourself. Note, you must be using a local Internet Network Service Provider for these ads to reflect or a Nigerian IP.

Something tells me that some people somewhere must have paid Google to rotate these ads at high impressions and views rate.

Lesson: Don't fight someone in power even if you were there before!

Education › Abuja Administration To Shut Down 150 Illegal Private Schools by Decryptor(op): 7:09pm On Dec 19, 2013
Says some of the schools have secondary school drop-outs as teachers.

The Abuja administration has concluded arrangements to shut down over 150 substandard private schools operating illegally in the Nigerian capital by January 2014, an official has said.

The Education Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Kabir Usman, said this in Abuja on Wednesday during the 2013 Annual Media Briefing of FCT Education Secretariat.

Mr. Usman said that the Department of Policy and Implementation (DPI) of the secretariat supervising the operations of the private schools observed that they were operating below the expected minimum requirements.

He said that the schools lacked infrastructure and academic standards, adding that the FCT administration, FCTA, had given approval to the DPI to shut them down as soon as the schools resumed next year.

“Some of the schools are using shanties, one classroom, some are sited close to refuse dump sites, while some of the teachers are secondary school drop outs.

Mr. Usman said that DPI had also accredited 384 private schools within the FCT that met the requirements and standards of the secretariat.

Analysing some of the achievement recorded by the secretariat, he said that Model Secondary School in Maitama won the Best School Award in 2012.

Accordingly, the Government Secondary School in Jibi won the best Teacher Award during the 2012 World Teachers Day, Mr. Usman said.

According to him, the FCTA has signed an agreement with the Korean Organisation for International Cooperation and Assistance (KOICA) to establish Model Primary and Junior Secondary Schools on Airport road.

“The FCT Minister has provided a plot of land for the school which will be constructed at a cost of N2.4 billion,” he said.

According to him, work is expected to start in earnest as soon as access roads are provided.

Mr. Usman said that the FCT Education Resource Centre (ERC) in collaboration with the Confucius Institute in China had concluded arrangements to commence the teaching of Chinese language with effect from January 2014.

“This is because China is fast becoming a dominant economy on a global scale; the Chinese language is becoming one of the global languages of business after English and French.

“It becomes imperative that Nigerians learn the language as it might in future become the preferred language of business.’’

The secretary said that some of the challenges facing the secretariat were inadequate funding, difficult terrain of some rural communities in the FCT and inadequate office accommodation.

According to him, other challenge is influx of people into Abuja, resulting in overstretching of available facilities in some of the schools, especially in urban and semi-urban areas.

fctguy: The igbo-smoking guy was at home as he refused to show up at his office. The joint meeting you claim came about when the union executives had to go to his house at Garki 2 where he pleaded with them assuring he would fulfil their demands.
If you should know, the protesters were made up of mercenaries from unknown locations. We the staff of FCTA and FCDA were so surprised when we saw the protesters because we realized that many had unknown faces (aliens) in the workforce. In other words, it was not even the staff that protested. This revelation was made known during the meeting so the minister decided to seize the opportunity to straighten matters up. And by-the-way, why call him an igbo-smoking guy? have you ever seen him smoke igbo before? Even if he does, is it your business?

Kairoseki77: I am a Christian you fool.

Something is really wrong with this country. Ethnic champions and religious bigots are pouring out of the SE.

Maybe you should move out of your hovel and come live in the SW, where we know how to live with our neighbors in peace, and without hatred.
It is because of baboons like you that make the muslims believe that they are doing God's work when they kill Christians! If what is happening in CAR is not right, then i pray one of your relations be butchered by knife-wielding islamic extremists. Say a big AMEN to that if you are truly a christian. **Long Hiss**

Living with your neighbors in peace in SW my foot! You are meant to say "Living in Cowardice"...Afterall, funali herdsmen r@ped your women in a community in Ogun state some time ago and you guys did nothing
