Maybe not. Similar thing happened to me sometime last year in Egbeda and I learnt from it. I hung my back pack by my right shoulder, held my smart phone with the left hand and another smaller Jivi phone with the right hand so everything I would have defended myself with was occupied. As I was alighting from the bus already packed beside a channel, the guard of my bag hooked on the frame of the bus while I was already half way out and my left leg hooked on the first row passenger seat,.This would have resulted in me falling face down. Between making sacrifices, I had to sacrifice the Jivi phone with my elbow. The phone smashed while I got some little bruises on the palm and some slight dislocation.

I learnt never to hang my bag while entering or alighting from a bus, and not to; at any point in time, occupy my 2 hands.

The person recording is not bound by ethics to the bank ,the employee flouting the rules is. The bank is a public place,day or night. Humans are higher animals because they have self control. I am sure that staff is not at his job 24/7. Hotel, guest houses are there for a reason. No place of business will allow it. Some organizations even frown at inter-staff relationship not to talk of sex in the work place. Stop being sentimental.

How far are we willing to go with minding our business, i watched a cctv of a woman getting robbed and people just walked by minding their business. So i ask again, how far are we willing to mind our business ,just because you dont like how this played out doesn't mean there will not be another case where good samaritans will be needed to save the day.

Lastly, the earlier people know that this is the age of SM and do the right thing ,that better for us. There is no but or exceptions when it comes to ethics.

If I see someone getting robbed, I have an obligation to call the police cos I'm not trained to catch thieves or disarm an armed man. What if I get killed in the process? It's even better for you to leave the scene, mobilize people and come back if you want to help in a much faster way than try to salvage the situation yourself and all alone. If you try to record such situation, a simple gun shot might end ur life and both the robber and victim will run away.

Something happened somewhere in the East sometime ago, a man in his SUV spotted kidnappers driving off with their victim on a sedan and decided to block them cos he had an SUV, guess what, they came down and wasted the man, yet drove off.

There is no but or exceptions when it comes to ethics.

Relax Bro, it's SuperMax that you are talking of. It got it's name from the Maximum Security of inmates, workers and little or no chances of jail break because of the rules.

Remember that US is not like some other countries where prisoners have no right and are treated like pigs. There are lots of confinement in Supermax but they tend to relax some after few years because of the inmate's mental health.

However, this won't be business as usual for El Chapo because he has lost 90% of his wealth, he is so hated in the US, he has a history of prison break even in maximum prisons, he's known to always buy his way through. These would limit his chances of linking the outside world from cell.

BTW, no one can prove the location or person (s) in such a video, hence, no one is losing his/her job except for the person (who is probably a staff) taking such video.

What I observed was that some of this RACTECH tried to show themselves as superior beings because they are holding a tab. I however put them in their place as the manual was quite clear, PO submits results and SCR to Ward CO who collates and submits result to LG CO and SCR is returned to EO. If EO wants to give duplicate copy for transmission that is his business but nobody will make my work harder or waste my time in some remote area.

Thanks for making it clearer. All I wanted to know is who RATECH is, who employed them and what their job role is, in connection with what the electoral act says.

He is certainly not an illegal "adhoc worker" of INEC.
(He is not a Staff though, staffing goes beyond "employment", even if not adhoc, it involves "probation and confirmation of that employment"

he will be mor eproperly defined as an "Adhoc Employee" of INEC.

But the crux of the matter here is that INEC, which reserves the right to stipulate the the duties, responsibilities and SCOPE of SUTIES" of anybody it hires, albeit temporarily or permanently, has said that this "RATECH" employee has gone beyond his "SCOPE OF ASSIGNED DUTIES", if he actually "transmit results electronically" to a supposed INEC Server!

This RATECH might also he opening himself to jail time, for contravening the Electoral Act, which forbids the transmission of election results, ELECTORNICALLY.
I just hope, in his zeal to support a "partisan policy" (he is Igbo and we know where the allegiance of most Igbos lie, between APC and PDP), he wont land himself in jail, after the election Petition has been decided, because he is making his testimony ON OATH!

If it is true testimony => he breaks the Electoral Act 2015 => JAIL TIME
If it is false testimony => he is guilty of lying to the Court under Oath (Perjury) => JAIL TIME

It takes a really stupid individual, to emesh yourself into this kind of "power play" by Politicians, no matter how much they promise you!

It wouldn't also be wrong for us to understand the role of the RATECH employee so we can truly determine if he actually went beyond his scope of assigned duties; not just to swallow what INEC told us.

Well, the Electoral Act provides for the appointment of any other staff of the commission.

It went on to grant INEC powers to delegate authority to any staff (ad hoc or permanent) so RATECH might not be illegal.

If there is a RATECH (in the first place) appointed by the commission, trained by the commission and working for the commission under some specific instruction/guideline, then needless to call them illegal workers as the law already gave them such powers.

I think we also need to know what the electoral act says and whose information (combined) the Presiding officers depend on. If RATECH is not recognized by law, then who engaged them, and for what purpose? The whole thing is getting interesting cos it might dig up INEC loop holes.

Discussing with him is not a big deal, after all he deserves to know my inputs paid off after all the walking and preparations.
