EFCC should be dropped! If you go by the court of public opinion, politicians have now destroyed whatever EFCC was created to achieve. There are hardly any known high profile cases being pursued, meanwhile, corruption (and/or stealing) is said to be at the highest level ever in Nigeria.

There is a difference between surrendering to amnesty and to firepower. These guys did not surrender because they were repentant. I do not know if it is okay or not to rehabilitate, but FG should tell us how they want to rehabilitate men who have been trained to kill humans like rams, and who have re-defined terror! The last thing you want to hear is that FG has started sharing cash to these guys.

Reverse Turnaround per Excellence. The lesson is that Pancake Cosmetics do not last. Go to some developed countries, they put up structures that can last a century, because they donot want to waste scarce resources. Here, the structures rarely last 3 years, and intentionally so, so that contracts can be awarded again and again to inept and corrupt people.

Think the contractors shoul be asked to pay back!

NYSC › Re: NYSC Speaks On #4000 Fee For Printing Call-up Letters. by Dee60: 12:38pm On Sep 11, 2014
NYSC, how may I contact you please?

I am a Nigerian citizen and therefore eligible to provide services for Nigeria. I have duly completed my NYSC and that happened when NYSC still had meaning! I made friends. I traveled. Downside of it, all of us in our team spent 99.9% of the time doing nothing. We were given nothing to do. Nothing.

Anyway, let me not deviate.

I will do these letters for you at N400 per letter, thereby saving N3,600 for our government. It is possible that there are people who could even do it for less, but at least I have given you an offer.

A trial will convince you.

Please contact me through NL if you agree. I hope to hear from you. Please remember I will save you N3,600 per letter! That I want to do to help my country and country men. I bet, corpers will not make any noise if the cost were to be N400 or less!

2015 at all cost? Do they now want to scoop so much money from us to use to 'share' rice and kerosene!

Nigerians, beware. If they like let them share COWS. Take their cows. it is your money, not theirs. But for votes, vote wisely! Never vote for people of great incompetence and falsehood.

Business › Re: Africa’s Largest Economy, Nigeria, Drops In Global Competitiveness Ranking by Dee60: 10:04am On Sep 04, 2014
anonimi: We do not stone the politicians because they adequately represent our AGGREGATE values as individuals in the society.
How many of us support foreign football clubs, praise our Kings who celebrate birthdays in London, adore our celebrities who announce their engagement & wed in New York, Dubai etc while our national resorts, parks, monuments and other TOURIST landmarks for national PRIDE are rotting away due to NEGLECT huh

Moreover those of us who know better need to get MORE involved in the political process rather than shying away and letting thugs, retired COUP plotters, fraudsters, drug-money launderers etc decide our policies & fate. If we do not contribute money and volunteer our time, talents, efforts to these candidates how do we expect them to fund their campaigns and subsequently RECOUP their investments and those of the sponsoring godfathers huh

In the final analysis, awuf/ofe/freebies nor dey for life oh, definitely not from a politician.
I guess it is a bit more complex. Values are there in society when you have leaders who are driving those values. Look at South EWest today and you will see the impact of education as sponsored by the likes of Awo. Even the younger people in SW do not have these values anymore because the region has failed to continue on driving values.

The crop of politicians we have today are consciously keeping the masses in the dark and robbing them of education and value creation so that the masses will be slaves forever.

We should not blame the populace when they have not been given the right education.

Science/Technology › Re: Massive Ocean Discovered Towards The Earths Core by Dee60: 3:06pm On Sep 03, 2014
back2sender: While the western world keep researching and making new discoveries we over here has turn all warehouses most especially in nigeria to churches. The church wants to determine how people should live thier life just like what happened years back when the Catholics church was the ruling emperor .
This discoveries has added to the body of knowledge .
What do they do in the churches? Encourage people to be the best they can be! Thank God for churches who are producing great people who will make a great nation. All those countries of the West making these breakthroughs will acknowledge that their strong Christian foundation has helped them to advance.

Don't forget that the motto of America still reads 'In God We Trust'. Check their currency and it is there.
Science/Technology › Re: Massive Ocean Discovered Towards The Earths Core by Dee60: 2:47pm On Sep 03, 2014
They are discovering what is in The Bible. If scientists will acknowledge The Bible they will see more and more truths. At the first flood, water came down from above and covered the earth. On the 40th day, the waters assuaged - I believe that at that pint the waters were taken down and have been locked up there, so that it no longer can destroy the earth.

Well done to the scientists who are discovering these things. God creates, scientists discover!

They seem to be taking the 2015 desperation too far now. All of these remind me of the goggled man of a few years ago! Nigerian leaders are bad students of recent history. Nigeria will be saved again.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Replies Tom Ikimi by Dee60: 4:31pm On Sep 02, 2014
chemali: If you read the news, the information Tinubu gave on the Oando transaction is what everyone knew all this while. Also the fact that he puts his weight behind certain candidates doesn't make him anti democratic. The question is does he manipulate results to favour his candidates? And he obviously didn't say that, so I wonder where you got your conclusions.
One party leader puts the best forward. And that is obvious to many Nigerians. The other leader in the other party seems to always put the worst forward.

Nigerians all have a choice!
