Politics › Re: Obama Leaves Nigeria Out Of $110m Peacekeeping Fund by Dee60: 11:17pm On Aug 10, 2014
Did they not pose together like 'brothers' to take a photo a few days ago? I really wish that our leaders will realize that no beggar nation has ever begged to greatness!

Big Brother summoned our leaders to Washington to lecture them on getting serious about fighting corruption. The one that heeds that call will get aid for Ebola and the one that ignores and keeps embezzling (forgetting that America knows!) will be denied aid.

Even the fight against corruption is not necessarily out of love for us, but perhaps so that Chinese 'bribers' don't get all the juicy contracts through dirty shady deals!

We dont have a BH problem. We dont have an unemployment problem. Our problem is corruption and those other things you call problems are mere symptoms.

Only Nigeria can solve the Nigerian problem.
Health › Re: Ebola Latest: US Rejects Nigeria’s Request For Trial Drug by Dee60: 9:09am On Aug 09, 2014
AMERICA KNOWS the billions of dollars that some African and Nigerian leaders have kept in their vaults. We should have known that nobody releases such drugs unless you part with some of the stolen billions of dollars!

So, back to you guys, save yourselves!

To imagine that most of African Presidents flew to the US with their usual large entourage to listen to a lecture by John Kerry, asking them to stop taking bribes, and after that were fed dinner! And a few days after, the same America will not agree to help save Africans from a ravaging disease!

Do we still need to be told to change our hearts and our ways?

Dear LORD, please give our country true visionaries as leaders.

The African man steals his country's money and stores it in The West thereby depriving his people and subjecting them to poverty and disease. The West uses the money to invent good things thereby enriching the lives of its people and helping to alleviate disease.

Africa arise.

What is common with France, Italy and Spain?

Most people visit for food more than for business!

Does Nigeria have up to 1 million visitors? I doubt i we have the statistics.

Blood sharing!

People who are totally morally bankrupt always feel they can buy anything with money! Terrible!

With this level of wickedness, is there a hope? Have they given 10,000 Naira to soldiers who are fighting in the bush? That is if anyone is still there searching for the girls!!!

Sharing money, sharing blood!

Journalists should stop quoting people out of context.

Miracles are real and are still happening. I believe the preacher is possibly raising hope so that Nigerians should not fear and despair. Trusting our people in Lagos, the fear of Ebola may suddenly spark a sit at home crisis!

WHATEVER, THE FG MUST INVESTIGATE THAT ATTEMPT ON BUHARI AND GET TO HE ROOT OF IT. OTHERWISE IT WILL LOOK LIKE FG HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE IN THIS WHOLE GAME GOING ON!

IT IS TOO BIG AN ATTEMPT TO LEAVE TO PEOPLE TO SAY WHATEVER THEY LIKE!

This is a massive score. First of its kind anywhere in the world. The President meeting a distressed and displaced people inside the comfort of his palace! Not even in Maiduguri the state capital! What exactly is the problem with Nigeria? What exactly is going on? Do we know? Is BH that dreadful?

femikay149: I dont know which word to use describe u

.ignorant...mischievous..or juz someone simply lacking knowledge

Oby Ezekwesili and #bring back our girls group from the very first day had asked Mr President to meet with the parents but no our President rather chose to go and dance alingo and skelewu at various campaign grounds

It took a 17yr old to convince my President and she said the same thing Oby and co has been saying for days ...it shows how wise our president is that after 100 days it was a minor and foreigner that could talk sense into his brain

For ur info Oby and bring back our girls grp have stood by these parents giving them counselling an other forms of support while d FG did nothing

Also Gej wanted to rush this meeting to score cheap poltitcal points when malala was here and meet with few parents that were already in abuja ..bt bring back our girls group said no that the whole community wont be represented

Now see the large number of parents thanks to bring back our girls group initiative

Ur ignorance is apalling I will borrow this quote in conclusion

P. J. O'Rourke once said, 'Anyway, no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power.
Would all these photos have been taken if 17 year old Pakistani by name Malala has not spoken? I doubt! Would anyone have remembered that any abduction ever took place if Oby and her teamm have not spoken out loud? I doubt!

I doubt if the advisers of our President are helping him. let us pray that his eyes will be opened.
Politics › Re: Oby Ezekwesili Arrested At Airport & Released by Dee60: 10:01am On Jul 21, 2014
80 girls were abducted in December. The news carried it. No one spoke. The government looked aside. Same time, boys were slaughtered like rams in the same Borno. Pictures were shown. But some people led the country to live in denial. Now, a privileged lady, who by all means has enough network globally to make money, chose to lead a campaign against the wicked denial, but Nigerians, especially those in the South are calling her names! Her colleague in the BBG campaign is the wife of a former chief justice. She has enough connection to be picking oil and gas contracts and scamming Nigeria with frivolous subsidies. She chose otherwise, to fight for the poor, the unheard, the minority communities in the North who have lost everything. Farmlands and homes have been destroyed, and now they are taking their daughters away into the forest for rape and for killing! Some people in the South have bought that wicked idea that there was no kidnapping. They will tell you that Shekau does not exist. And possibly that the army is idle in North East! How wicked?

Southerners had better get up from their slumber. Even if there is no BH here, should we all fold our arms until our brothers in the North are destroyed? Does it not occur to you that if they conquer the North, the next natural target will be the South? Cant we think? Who is leading us in this grave denial?

If the BBG team has not been there, would we be where we are? Would the abduction not have been labelled as a scam as some want us to believe?

Those who are shouting at Oby and calling her names should please think! Even if you are chopping with ten fingers should that make anyone's brain go blank?

There they go again. What constitues 'correct Customs paper' they wont say. Now, VON, FRSC, NP etc will double their efforts to make life miserable for car owners and drivers.

Vampires in power!

Our version of democracy seems to be that of making life so hard for citizens. Like NIS like FRSC!
