texazzpete:I'll take it one by one. 1)The moral instruction given the woman is for us. To guide us NOT TO FOLLOW HER EXAMPLE. 2)The school is not to show your Christ like (showing mercy) behavior in it's obligation to discipline. If we are to always show "Christ like" behavior, then there should be no police in the roads. No lawyers. No correction. God will ALWAYS FORGIVE AND ALWAYS PARDON anyone that goes against Him. But He allowed society to set rules and regulations to provide discipline and prevent those that will want to abuse their "God given" freedom. Schools inclusive. And you all seem to forget that the same Christ used whips to chase a great congregation out of the temple. Christ like of course. 3) Expelling the student does not change anything concerning the act. The deed is done. It however makes a solid statement on the schools stance on the act and any similar. It serves as deterrent to other students. 4) Students and people will always find ways to device evil when a method is exposed and discipline metted out. That does not make discipline wrong. And for every new method to hide sin, sin will always expose the one that engages in it--- of course for more shame and discipline. 5) She cannot be the one that leaked the tape. But from the video, she was fully aware she was being filmed--- a pointer that any shame or dignity she ever had, she threw away deliberately. And you are saying she should be pampared in the name of grace? |
texazzpete:Jesus stopped men from stoning the ADULTERESS (oga that really read his Bible) because the people that wanted to stone the woman were hypocrites (your Bible told you that they wanted to test Jesus--- THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING). Nobody commits the sin of adultery ALONE. They were not fair to the woman, leaving the man behind and taking the woman (which will be easy). And after the saving the woman. He told her "go and SIN NO MORE. Not justifying her action or denying that she did wrong, or protecting the guilt. You are the type of people that hide under the grace of Christ and His sacrifice to justify the act of sin and the discipline that should take place. In every university when matriculating or graduating, you (if you ever even bothered to read your schools ethics) STUDENTS ARE CAUTIONED TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF THE INSTITUTIONS they belong to. You are awarded honours for good deeds by your respective schools if you do positive things even when long graduants from the school. Using disciplinary powers should not be condemned likewise. And the same Bible that told you about God's forgiveness in Christ, told you about your harvest for unnecessary sin (Galatians 6vs 7). God encourages discipline. |
If they did not take action like this, it is you people that will still come online and rant about how "hypocritical" the school is having such a student in their fold. Nobody is perfect. But that is not the license to condone rubbish. Haba! Where are the years our youth thought twice about their actions and those they will put to shame, before doing such. It's not enough again to have indiscriminate sex,we now video it not even considering the risk. The school is in perfect order in expelling the said student. He or she is an ambassador of the school whether in session or not in session. |
Like seriously, Kogi election was terrible. My half brothers studying in the state university all came back a week before the election for the violence scare that spread even to the higher institutions. It was very bad. |
They can do whatever they want with their money. They have much to spare. |
Your case will be thrown out as like your friend Busola, it is based on sentiments. And its so obvious from the get go. |
They did the right thing. |
Correct |
Yes. It was terrible in Kogi state even from the week heading to the election. It's like war. Yahaya Bello has been declared winner (I don't even think it should be surprising). So I guess the next time they will see salary alert is 2023. Pity. |
The person will always come to seek seek forgiveness. True he will be forgiven. But he will definitely reap the harvest of his seed. |
Kogi state |
Not bad. Its good that some police officers actually take their cleanliness seriously. Someone should help me the "Local man cannot do again" meme. Thanks in advance. |
Very very very true. |
God bless Rudeboy of the P- Square fame. Audio Peace |
Buhari is very below average as a leader but we can never forget so easily the atrocities of GEJ and PDP. And to imagine a "pastor" was "advising" the then President. You should be ashamed of yourself. |
Awwwwn... This is cute. Stumbling upon this busy body thread. To all those that were ranting up an down, how una dey? Inside life. |
ifyalways:Its 18+ and above. But apparently, their staff, because of the potential money they will make from underage customers, turn a blind eye to it. |

You could have the wedding in the moon. Please, for the love of whatever you worship, this won't work. Go back to your respective homes in peace. |

Drama king. Lies. Feeding on sentiments. |
I'm not impressed with this government performance. That said, it is not an excuse to carry this stupid news about. |
The fault is the character of majority of the women. Neither the guy nor your sister. Endure it. If you are the feminist type, enjoy the drama of your fold. |
And Mr chicken did what many of the cowards online will do. Did nothing, and probably exchanged pleasantries with the minister on the flight, then come to internet to cry. He even took the selfie with the minister not being aware. Nonsense. |
