If the 3s aren't falling in then it's au revoir for the rockets for it's all they got.

SportsRe: Ajibade Babalade Is Dead by DeeMain(m): 1:08pm On Sep 07, 2020
We called him AjibaRock in the east. Played for IICC/3SC. As solidly built as a rock. He was a very hard and no-nonsense defender.

I believe Ajibade and Bright Omokaro should be our hardest defenders in more recent years.

Those where the days hardness counted for something as defender.

Rockets win. This small ball Rockets are holding their own defensively against the Lakers. Hmmm. This is going to be a very tough series.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m):
It's like Giannis was injured. His ankle. May have contributed to his below par performance and the number of minutes he played.

The Bucks folded, 4th quarter. They have no soul.

The Heat! Who would have thought? A broom! Damn!

Yeah. He's a starter now for the Raptors.
Sadly very average like siakem
Average?

Anunoby, has a big heart and plays hard on both ends of the floor. Made some big plays today and kept his cool under pressure while Siakam and some others couldn't handle the pressure. He is a good player with the potential to improve.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m):
Congrats to Denver. Jokic saved their ass today. He was cool and clutch under pressure. Jamal Murray plus the entire team sans Jokic, after putting up a good first half lead, bottled it from the 3rd quarter all the way to the end.

Mitchell, got his mojo back and took over the game from the 3rd quarter. That last ball slip will haunt him for a long time. And Conley's in and out? Painful loss.

Sorry Jazz.

Someone will have to go home.

Big ups Denver.

Haven't been on this thread but this morning's events were extraordinary. Russell Westbrook, I really feel bad for him. Can't wait to hear what Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have to say.
What I don't understand is some coaches leaving unfit stars/marquee players in the game even in the all important 4th quarter to the detriment of results.

For crying out loud dude is just coming back from injury. His form will not be the finest; he will be more error prone especially during clutch time. Save his ass. Pull him out late in the game.

Now, this loss is on him.

Jimmy Butler! The Butler show! The Heat is a good defensive team.

Giannis struggled a bit. Too many turn overs did the Bucks in.

No joke, it is on NL that all married women are in bondage or married men don't live their lives.

It is here I also learnt career is something you start working today and build tomorrow.

When most of my senior colleagues are recounting tales of the work they have put in, we would be calculating 'I was in 200L or I just finished secondary school then.'

Funnily, the school/work/marriage & career model actually gives you the most time to do whatever. See Omoni who even took a break from acting: she can now act forever. Omotola used to take her babies to set so all her characters was a young mother. Now the kids have grown and she is traveling the world.

There was someone I met during service: a beautiful lady married at 17 because her dad died. This lady had two kids and said she wanted to go back to school. Everyone said no, her mother said her husband would start sleeping with her maid and she told them they were free. She was able to finish school, had a dream to work somewhere unfortunately, the place packed up.

When you hear her talk and her dreams despite her circumstances then, you would marvel.

I have not seen anyone hungry for success so much claim marriage stopped them.
This is overly simplistic and a hasty generalization. It's an insult to the souls of women who paid the humongous sacrifice that family/marriage demanded of them by giving up their own dreams.

The players are serious about a movement. And they are making mistakes because of lack of experience. I hope they get better and more organized after the Bucks fiasco. The miscommunication could have been used to weaken the movement as a whole.

In my mind I keep seeing Giannis making the coconut head decision. Boycott is not a rebound grin
It was George Hill that started and led it.

What will they say about health workers that are in the line of fire every day. A lot of these athletes are just entitled and that's the truth. It's easy to take certain stands because your livelihood does not require you to show up at work every day

The world has turned upside down for so many people. Yet some still have it better than others
I get your analogy but remember that what we were dealing with(still are to an extent) since February was an existential fear. Will I live or die? What will happen to my loved ones? There is no logic to such fears. It's primal, it's primitive, it's animalistic.

The effect on individuals and their loved ones will be different and the effect on their thinking and actions and behaviours and performance and preparedness as athletes will be different.

I also mentioned that the effect of the absence of fans on players will be different depending on their makeup.

Some people thrive in uncertainties and fear, some just shut down and some are overwhelmed by the curves the pandemic threw them. So I believe these factors have played out to varying degrees in this bubble.

It's not the only factor at play in this bubble but it is an important factor worth considering and noting.

This is a competitive sport man. I don't want to undermine the fact that we are different, but then all the players can come out and complain about this and that being the reason they faltered or failed to win. perhaps the NBA should have been scrapped as we are different. My point is keep quiet and find a way to adapt. So perhaps it's clear why there's a lot of talk about this year's championship having asterisk. If one guy wins, well the others must have been badly affected by the pandemic. Or if another guy loses his performance must have been seriously impaired by the pandemic. Way to go.
The way I see it is that the pandemic created a certain kind of environment and danger that certain kinds of people/athletes will thrive in while certain others will wilt.

The pandemic with all its consequences can be seen as a revealer of vulnerabilities and of levels of resilience and of adaptation and of flexibility.

For example, some players can perform better without the fans, while some will need to draw their motivation and energy from the fans.

Some people can thrive in war times but are nobody's in peace time. The war is an opportunity for those who have been built for war time to shine, for those who can adapt to thrive and for those who can't to cower and to lose.

I hope PG is sure he has finally turned a corner. I hope he's sure this performance is not 1 good in a about half a dozen samples. He's definitely following someone's lead here. cheesy. Perhaps the elders can help us with that. But what's the fuss about the pandemic got to me or the pandmeic has interrupted my routine. You are all under the same conditions. So others should have been affected as much as you've been. He better hopes he doesn't drop poverty stats in subsequent games. cheesy
While I am not holding forth for him, humans are not robots. What affects A may not affect B. The effect of the pandemic on individuals will be different because our perceptions are different and we experience things differently.

They are not black but brown.

Brown with different shades of brown.

No one is black.

Nothing like black skin
Keep quiet if you haven't been to those countries and seen deep black colours. You think the black world starts and ends with Nigeria and South Africa and Ghana? Rubbish!

Your hair is what colour? Shade of brown or black? The hairs on your body nko? On your private parts? So because they are black they are evil? God created evil on your body?

If we go by the definition of black as evil, who wants to be called dark brown? Evil brown?

No wonder most of our girls are bleaching the hell out of their lives and souls.

Had a rough and very terrible upbringing. So that's a major suspect but been trying to balance that part. I have started eating good and take care of myself well, but instead of getting becoming mature i have been having height. Although i think the height thing have stopped now, cos i sense i grow taller every month before but i think for past 6 months i haven't grown taller.

I'm not a troll sir, please calm down
Looking at what you are going through and the story of your life, there is likely a link between what you are going through and your terrible upbringing. There is an intelligence that runs through life.

My guess is that you have a tall and abusive dad/caregiver in the mix somewhere. That will be the subconscious reason for your body's decision to skip puberty and reach adulthood quickly and also the logic behind the quick spurt of growth to 6.5 to rise above the height and the intimidation of the fearful abuser. This was an adaptation to protect you and keep you and your loved ones safe. Life is intelligent.

If there is some semblance of truth to this my conjecture, then I will also encourage you to to go to a therapist to heal your traumatic past in addition to your hospital trips. Mind-body medicine has proven that what happens in our minds affect what happens to our body and that we can heal our body by healing our minds.

My 2 cents.

We can talk more about this if you wish.

No chance until some team does it. Remember Cleveland Cavaliers' 3-1 2016 comeback. No team had ever come back to win the finals from 3-1 down .

But thats the whole point - you do NOT want Lebron to shoulder the scoring load. At this age, he is deadlier as a facilitator. If he gets 3 shooters hot, and each scores only 6pts more, that is an extra 20 points. Completely changes the game to a blowout vs just Lebron dropping 40 in a tight game. And this is what haters in their rush to take a shot at Lebron refuse to see. You want a 25PT 8RB 10+AS Lebron. There are many other things he does on the floor that shows up only in +/- of his teammates

Blazers lose a lot of games because Dame plays the same way every game. He has not gotten much better in the last few years. If you have guards who can match his athleticism, you can prepare game plan for him, absorb his scoring and deliver a loss to them. Sometimes CJ will step up and they win anyways. Other times CJ gets streaky like all jump shooters and they lose. With the bigs they have, its actually a bad thing that they are so guard dominant. Nurkic and Whiteside are not been used well so far imo.
Not entirely Lillard and CJ's fault in my opinion. Nurkic and Whiteside were already lethargic by the 3rd quarter and this continued into the 4th. Also, they don't have enough depth in their bench at this point to match the Lakers.

FamilyRe: Autistic Child: Please Help by DeeMain(m):
Autism's root is in the subconscious mind. Any tool or solution that can access the subconscious mind can help someone who is autistic.

1. Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy as a healing methodology has applications in many psychological and behavioural change issues autistic people have, not just depression. Whether it is anxiety, learning difficulties, social skills or changing repetitive behaviours often associated with autism.

Hypnotherapy can get such results because it deals with the subconscious mind and can unlock some of the subconscious blocks limiting the child.

2. Acupuncture/Acupressure/Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM): The Chinese use their understanding of energy meridians and herbs to effect healing. You'll need to find someone who is versed in the treatment of autism using this protocol.

3. Indian Aryuveda: both the Chinese TCM and Aryuveda have been treating autism-like illnesses/diseases for thousands of years. Deepak Chopra has taken Aryuveda to a worldwide audience.

4. Timeline therapy: We can go back in time on a subconscious timeline and locate traumas /limiting fears/anger/limiting negative experiences in the autistic persons past and release them. The origin of such traumas can be at conception, during pregnancy or during an earlier generation(some traumas can be passed to succeeding generations, ie, some traumas are hereditary).

5. Neurolinguistic Programming(NLP): Understanding how the mind is coded and how language can influence the coding and wiring or rewiring of the brain is the forte of NLP. Someone that is versed in using this methodology in treating autism might be of help to you or your child

6. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)/ Energy Medicine/ Energy Psychology: According to Einstein, E=mc2. Understand that we are all made of energy. Any therapist with expertise on how to manipulate the human energy system can help someone with autism become better.

7. Mindfulness training: learning how to be present in the now can help an autistic person a lot.

8. CBT(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): Thinking errors and perception errors can clog the minds of some autistic people. CBT can help straighten their thinking.

8. Spirituality/Prayer: You can access the spiritual world to gain some advantage or access some solutions or creativity or make some changes in the physical. That you do not know how to use this to help a child or an adult with autism does not mean that it's not possible or that others don't get results with it.

The evidence to prayers efficacy is quantum physics/quantum biology.

According to quantum physics, everything is subatomic particles(spirit),. There is no space/distance and no time in the quantum world. There is synchronicity and simultaneity. There is infinite possibilities and infinite potential. Everything exists everywhere at the same time
.
What keeps us from accessing these infinite possibilities ? The answer is the observer, you! Your beliefs and perceptions and programming. Prayer can help the autistic person unravel the blocks and access these potentials and possibilities.

Bottomline: spirituality can help with autism.

But the floor is open to u to post information to the forum to help others that may need it. I suggest u use that option to share whatever limited information u have. If u don't have any, like I know u don't then pls keep quiet and read from those that have.
Thank you.

It remains to be seen. I have this believe that no knowledge is lost, hence my interest to learn new things. No u are wrong about Google not being enough when one is seeking information. If u know where to look for and what the look for, Google can be a very dangerous tool.

If u have specific information on use of hypnotherapy in cases of Autism. Post it here so everyone can learn. From what I can piece together from ur statement, u also have no idea about how hypnotherapy is used in Autism. But that's ok, we are all here to learn more about the whole package.
You are projecting your own perceptions on me. I said do not superficially google, which means if you dig deeper, even with Google, you can get wellsprings and golden nuggets.

I would have told you more but you are stuck in your ways and not open to such constructive intellectual discourse.

It's never late though, the day you are ready your teacher will certainly appear.

Lol, we are still discussing. Don't take offense if my opinion differs from another person. That is why we are here to learn together. Hypnotherapy has not being used so far for my son cos he doesn't have the depressive phase so far. I have heard about it's use before not for Autism and have never been directly exposed to it yet.
And I don't take things blindly, I research it thoroughly. U should too.
Don't just superficially google a topic and believe you know all about it.

Hypnotherapy as a healing methodology has applications in many psychological and behavioural change issues autistic people have, not just depression. Whether it is anxiety, learning difficulties, social skills or changing repetitive behaviours often associated with autism.

Hypnotherapy can get such results because it deals with the subconscious mind and can unlock some of the subconscious blocks limiting the child.

Go beyond this surface digging. Dig deeper. There are other tools and resources out there that can help your child. Just because something is not yet mainstream does not mean it cannot help you get results.

Best wishes to your child.
