Each one developed the syndrome and it has nothing to do with the Creator. There are actual reasons for autism.....but you have to seek them out for yourself. It isn't a plague nor punitive.

I don't know where u get it information from though but the last I checked, hypnotherapy was only used to alleviate depression in children who have Autism. Not all children with Autism show signs of severe depression though. Hypnotherapy is not used in the routine treatment of autism.
Pls when u give information, make it specific so u don't mislead people.

Most of us got disciplined and flogged too either from parents or school as far back as the 1980s and we turned out great and so why making this issue a big deal. Fear is a wrong teacher. It can achieve you your goal of getting compliance but it can mess up or warp the mind of your child.

Most Nigerian parents use the line, "my parents beat me and I still turned out great" to justify child abuse or using violence to train their children. If you all turned out great as being touted Nigeria wouldn't have been this bad, unruly and ill--trained as a nation.

There is a reason for the hate by your dad. It may be conscious or unconscious.

Conscious: it might be something leading to or concerning your birth and history. Perhaps you are a reminder of a painful past to him.

Unconscious: Perhaps you unconsciously remind him of his own failures, i.e., he sees his weaknesses and failures in you. You may also unconsciously remind him of his own dad or mum, who may have hated him or treated him badly. In both cases, he may not even know why he hates you but just finds himself reacting that way to you.

Whichever be the case, forgive him because he is ignorant. If he knew better he would have loved you unconditionally. He can't give what he doesn't have.

Thank God you are a conscious and self aware person. My advice will be for you to go for therapy to assist you in the healing process. You will need it. Else you will always live in his shadows, a bye product of pain.

Forgive him, heal and then find your true self apart from your pain and circumstances.

Afterwards, let your light so shine.

PS: Consider having a close relationship with God as a substitute for the father-son connection you never had. It's a tough world out there. You wil need it.

Abstinence/celibacy is about self care for me (i.e. practicing habits that sustain my health and well being) it is also about having an effective relationship with my creator. Pre-marital sex was eroding an effective relationship with God and my feelings of guilt were often enormous, afterwards.

I am not abstaining to avoid marriage but I am most certainly abstaining to avoid an unwanted pregnancy I have had devious men who thought if they could only get me pregnant, it would change my mind about kids and their marriage proposal to me (I'm not kidding) but this is a story for another time.

Sex is not a physical thing for women (save for prostitutes) Before a woman lies with you, she's really into you. Now, when the feeling is not mutual it becomes a demoralizing event, it either breaks the heart or bruises it. Celibacy, saves me from the mental and emotional havoc wrecked on my overall well being, when the feeling is not mutual.

Having a sexual partner just for the sake of scratching that itch is still a demoralizing concept for me. Also, indulging too soon in a relationship, prevents you from ascertaining the full measure of a man and getting a firm grip on what he is really like, as a person.

I understand the abstinence from sex to ensure closeness to God part though. Something a good marriage would have cured.

Some girls that have this problem will not tell you unless they really trust you. They know they shouldn't have kids but societal pressures and expectations will push them to marry and have them.
