benji93: Stop being unnecessarily dumb man. You cannot quote any of my statements, asserting that Trae cannot become better than Curry, instead you quote your post and make an inconsequential argument about numbers. I was wrong on the numbers, but again that was an extrapolation. Since you mentioned more than 1 person, it's only reasonable to present the argument of top 5 point guard. All I can understand from the current exchange is that you have realized your mistake, but you are unwilling to admit it. It seems you just type without thinking deeply.
Benji93 tone it down man! We can have sane debates here without attacking the person on the other side.
1StopRudeness: U will not die young..cos I remember her case..: women are very good at riding on sympathy.
This babe narrated series of sexual escapades btw her and the man like they were dating .....now she’s making it look like the man raped her....:like I said in my other comment I’m not surprised, women never speak well of their ex’es....once the relationship ddnt end as marriage.... the man is automatically evil and a scum and an abuser, and a cheat...they are always the saint in the relationship that gave their all...
cc 1StopRudeness
Dude, your pastor and spiritual father is not any man. Many times they have powers over you than your real father. What am I even saying, they have powers of God!
So when an Oracle of God( a pastor) has a sexual relationship with a member of his church/spiritual daughter, it's an exploitation of an immense power imbalance.
Note the two words, POWER IMBALANCE.
The power of God vested in the pastor Vs The powerlessness of a broken, sick or struggling church member, who came to church to heal or to find help (Remember a church is likened to a hospital with the pastor as the doctor)
When the pastor/spiritual father takes advantage of this imbalance to sleep with his member:
It's as if God has abused his creation.
Many of them don't recover from the distortion in their minds and spirituality. They can no longer separate the pastor, the man, from God, the sovereign.
In their distorted minds:
A representative/ambassador of God = God
If pastor can do this then what else is a lie about this religion?
They sometimes become tormented and begin to see everything about pastors and God as a scam.
Many of them reject the offending religion and God. Today, Ese Walters is no longer a Christian. Can you see where I am going with this?
Some of them lose their mind - they slept with 'God'.
Ese Walter's case may not be rape but the gravity of suffering and torture she might have endured as a result of that relationship may have been equally damaging.
Asking for sexual favour from the powerless and voiceless from a powerful spiritual or physical perch is akin to rape.
It is exploiting the weak and taking advantage of their frailties to wreak more havoc on their needy souls.
Spiritual daughters need help and support and guidance not more shackling baggage from their spiritual fathers.
PS:
Can you see the similarity between Ese and Busola's case?
TVSA: I am not supporting war in any way. But when there's war, you can't use civilians for emotional blackmail to coax your enemies. Civilians died too during American Civil War now. Why didn't Abraham Lincoln allow the South to separate since civilians were dying? Surrender, you don't want to surrender, you're using your civilians to blackmail the federal government. Why did they go to war in the first place when they knew they were not capable? Both sides were at fault.
Committing genocide against a group you intend to integrate back into your fold and form a great One Nigerian nation is wisdom according to you.
Do war crimes, crime against humanity and genocide even mean anything to you?
Bookmark this space man. One day you will realize you spewed utter rubbish today and take it all back.
TVSA: That's how war is everywhere. Harry S Truman bombed Japan twice and killed thousands of civilians. No one was trialed. George Bush Jr declared war in Iraq without concrete evidence, and thousand civilians died and he's walking free today. I'm not moralizing what the soldiers did o. But Gowon had no choice. He had to defend his country. He's a soldier for Christ sake.
Don't even begin to compare war between nations to a civil war. A civil war is a war between brothers and using Japan and Iraq is comparing apples to oranges.
Gowon and co and Nigeria were wrong for targeting civilians, women , children and farms and should apologize genuinely.
kvngtomi: What evidence do you have that the woman has that sickness? It can be a disorder in her arm. And to be fixed twice! The same way the same pattern! Haba! Oga you too hear yourself.
My response to someone that sent more evidence of same woman with 2 more other pastors.
Hmmm, I sit corrected. 4 is way too much to be a coincidence or a case of a relapse.
My earlier point was that true miracles exist just like fake ones and that just because there are 2 videos showing the repetition of same miracle isn't proof that it's fake. Which is why I said we need more info, which you have provided with this.
The context and number of times of this makes it systematic.
makeitsoon: So you giving open eye advice, what do you say about this?
*beats me that you don't have a discernment spirit, are you just blowing hot air, forming holy holy or just want to be so ignorant even when your senses are telling you this is wrong?

bluediesel03: come Bros. you sound like a child.didnt you see that after the healing there was no bone in the hand.that particular hand is still soft and dangling on the shoulder.see bros. There's muscle in that hand though no bone but she can still push the muscle up and it will form a fold pattern .and she can still release the muscle by slight shaking of the hand
Old man, I greet you, the all-wise one, brother and neighbour of said woman.
pcagbaji: I have somebody in my street he has a broken bone and he can shorten the hand or elongate it , the muscle is working without bone in it .so stop talking what you don't know
Guy, send us the video so we can critic it here. No too much talk.
Yoighaman: Are you serious or just being sarcastic? I need to know because even my 4 years old niece who watched the video will not spilling what you just wrote.
Guy, even Jesus healed a blind man twice. The possibility of a relapse or a reoccurrence of her sickness is there. If you don't understand something ask for further information instead of jumping to blind criticism.
kvngtomi: Stop spitting nonsense out of that your mouth, what if it was staged? Where you present at the two events? Why are people so parochial, you see evidence before you and you are still defending it. What a shame on you.
What evidence? That a woman is healed of the same sickness twice by two different pastors?
Until you or someone you know can reenact the magic of shortening your hand and elongating it at will, just shut up and ask for further information on the circumstances of this case.
Unthinking idiots in this thread. Have you asked yourself how possible it is to act that. Even in the movies it will take graphics and animation to pull off such a stunt but here because it's a man of God all thinking have been canned and Christianity must be mocked.
There are possibilities
1. It can be different woman different pastors 2. It can be same woman different pastors. In this case there is the possibility that the problem relapsed and she had to go to another pastor for help. Sometimes spiritual things happen like that.
Dpharisee: Wrong! As has been stated here by others, Depression leads to withdrawal syndrome and not attack. Psychopathy leads to attack and not Depression. Depression will not lead a woman to harm others children while cherishing her own When a woman suffers Post Patum depression, the tendency is for her to do harm to her own offspring and not other peoples children
Had to re-read my post to make sure it's what you responded to. Guy, I don't get you.
Read my post slowly this time, then read your post again.
midnighter: Depression presents in different ways in different people and there are different kinds. Paranoia is a symptom of psychotic depression. Depression can cause aggressiveness in some people
Depression doesn't just mean somebody feels sad or wants to commit suicide.
I agree with you that she needs psychiatric intervention but I don't accept that just because she is exhibiting extreme behaviours, it must mean she is suffering from some fantabulous condition
She may just be somebody whose symptoms got out of control on top of not being a nice person in the first place
She is a broken person that may also be depressed.
Depression is one of the symptoms she exhibits. Depression is not an 'all-join' condition.
The solution will start when the roots of what broke her is found.
KarnBarlow: I'm different now. A lot wiser, i realize that i wasn't always the most pleasant person and i take full responsibility for my actions. Only insightful and positive comments from now on. I promise.
Wealthierboy: you re a mumu man! How many politicians don face law for nigeria. Haa, Mompha my mentor. Why na, you should have gone to other african country na
We use our intelligence to blame, trade insults, pass the buck and to find illegal shortcuts instead of to think or create solutions.
The US was built by individuals not the government. They, after their civil war, were worse than the present day Nigeria. They started taking responsibility and thinking. That's what lifted them from the shithole.
Nigerians + Africans don't want to think or take responsibility.
Forget the damn government.
Start thinking and taking responsibility and creating solutions in your little corners.
PhenomenalMorgan: It is called Ikwerre language, stop associating Ikwerre to igbo because of the language similarities, Nyesom means "person that follows me" Ezebunwo means "The child is a king" Does it mean the same thing in Igbo language....
Exactly the same thing in Igbo.
Nyesom = Onye som = the person that follows me.
Ezebunwo = Eze bu nwa or Nwa bu eze = Child who is a king/ king who is still a child.
SmooshCHN: KD sha. You left OKC and the Warriors, got all you wanted but the story is how OKC was fake and how the Warriors never welcomed you. And now Irving is chapping nonsense. I wish those two good luck but na suffering las las.
Eruditor: Lol. I saw the video. The guy makes me laugh. He should just remember that KD called Mark Cuban and idiot for Russell Westbrook and then left him that very season.
They should enjoy themselves. They are fit for themselves. Kyrie is the alpha dog in the relationship.
What am I reading on this thread?
Guys don't turn on KD now o. Don't throw him under the bus, abeg.
Keep the same Voltron energy you've been using prior to defend him at all cost na. Consistency is a virtue. Hahahaha.
You sound like you had an amazing family, God bless them. However, the part i tried to bolden is the part of your write up that has a problem. You see, this doesn't happen in a lot of families. In truth, Fathers and young men were raised to believe that being tough, stern and uninvolved was the best way to be a parent. African Fathers are generally uninvolved in their children's lives and that phase of bonding usually passes rather quickly.
My dad never changed my diapers, bathed me, spoon fed me or sat up with me when i was sick. Yet i adored him growing up. He never ever flogged me and he always bought me what i needed. When i became an adult though, i found out that because my mother had done the raising, i shared a lot of her personal values, i didn't even know what values he had as a person.
I couldn't say for certain where he went or what he did with his time and we got into several disagreements as i got older because he didn't know me and i barely knew him. I didn't get why men would drink, womanise or smoke and i was outspoken in my disdain for those things. He didn't understand why a girl would talk so loud and could be so bold. He didn't get why i wouldn't go to Mosque or why i didn't encourage my siblings to do same, when in truth, we had all been christians since forever! But he didn't notice.
He didn't know our favourite foods, songs or why we were in certain moods meanwhile, you come back from a long journey and your mom has your special food prepared. She tells everyone else that's my child's food oh, don't touch it. She knows when you're menstruating and how its doing you. Who your friends are and where they live.
I haven't seen my mom in 3 months and she calls me everyday, rain or sun. My dad can go a year without talking to us. Because of his other relationships, i doubt his love for me and my place in his life. To me, he comes first.
With my mum, that can never happen. She has five children, and despite our differences, none of us have ever had any moment of doubt for where we stand in her life. Even today, she would starve to see us fed. I had an accident less than a year ago and my mum was called from the scene, she started crying, the person calling had to tell her to calm down that i was fine. When my brother called my dad later, he was quite nonchallant.
That's the story of way too many fathers. Even in relationships, you love people because they love you and are loyal to you. And that's the story of mothers.
And why when money comes to children, their mothers are the ones they remember first. Trust me, no matter the financial input a person makes in your life, you will always remember the emotional input that was made in your life.
Well framed. Your post blessed me. Many thanks piroux.
pocohantas: I don't know why I have a feeling you are one very humble guy, the type who isn't very adventurous, missionary style kinda guy...
Don't even force her. Difficult to do, but that is the best thing for your long term sanity. If not, she will keep making it obvious by her words that she never wanted you.
Recently a NLder was here to report himself after telling his wife she wasn't his first choice. That might be you in few years time, only that you will be at the receiving end.
You see all these girls that their eyes are up? Once they start wearing some kind clothe and experiencing city-girls life, marriage no dey their mind o. Let alone marriage to some homely dude. She will convince herself there is still time and there is better out there.
She might only remember you (or your type) when she is retiring. Pele
I'm loving this you without all that feminist rage and wranglings. Keep it up. It's a breath of fresh air.
Roland17: Who else is watching the WNBA playoffs? Elena Delle Donne is a beast for the Washington Mystics. She is such a matchup nightmare because of her ability to dribble, pass and play under the rim.
Elena is the undisputed MVP this season. But I'm rooting for Candace Parker and the Ogwumike sisters of the Los Angeles Sparks.
omenka: Compare Ezeks tweet with that of Banky. This woman though. I'm beginning to see some sense in the things people around here say about her.
We want the best from government but at the same time hate to see the best IN government.
How does one reconcile that? Wouldn't she gladly accept same if given? If sacrifices were good, why didnt she sacrifice a chance to travel to SA for a summit in protest against what they've done to our brothers and sisters in that country?
Smh
First, she was not paid to attend. Second, she went as as an activist citizen concerned about what is happening in Africa. Third, she was a lone voice inside SA helping secure Nigerians by pressuring their government and helping Nigerians.
She was and has been true to her activism, popular or unpopular, in or out of government.
