Anybody can tell any stupid lie to justify any stupid pronouncement in a faceless platform like this.

So mister, your assertion is incredulous.
Lol, you simply havent left the shores of your country before, or otherwise lack exposure, and therefore assume the world to be limited to your set of experiences. Good luck.

That reeks of intolerance to me. Would you be able to work in any of these companies if they also had the same attitude towards blacks? Or do you think there is nothing peculiar about you that they also chose to accommodate?

In the middle East and northern Nigeria, life basically revolves round Islam. But in southern Nigeria, people simply make accommodations. Take 10 minutes and go and say your prayers.

You may think that HR was helpless, but I can tell you that there are several places where others have willingly set aside a prayer room for their Muslim colleagues. It is called tolerance - something all of us in all walks of life should strive for.
Ol' boy converting a meeting room to a make-shift mosque is going too far. Religion is a private affair. Imposing it on the structure and operations of a diverse multinational company is simply bananas. Intolerance you say? Do you want to follow this rabbit down the rabbit hole and see where it could lead? Tell me, what would happen if the Christians in that office banded together and insisted that they also wanted a meeting room as a make-shift church. Tell me, what would happen if after that the Hindu's banded together (because there were lots of Hindus too) and demanded another meeting room as a make-shift temple. And on and on. Can you see the point? Its both ridiculous and absurd. Religion should not be imposed on a corporate environment that way. Its very dangerous. It should be kept private.

Sadly however, you will not see this simple point. I am very used to Muslims describing anything that does not permit them to deploy Islam in every environment - no matter how unreasonably - as being "intolerance." If the tables were turned however, they would never grant others the same "tolerance." You will never have a make-shift church (or temple) being permitted in an office in a Muslim country for example.

Freedom of religion on the job right? Freedom to pursue your religion even if it clashes with your employer's requirements for the job right? Next thing you will be saying any employer who doesnt create breaks to fit with the five prayer times is breaching your right to your religion right?

How many Muslims have you actually worked with? And in what scenarios?
Many - across several multinational companies: many non-Nigerian Muslims inclusive, mainly from other African countries and the Middle-East.

I was surprised, years ago, when I worked for a European Telecom company, to note that one of the meeting rooms in the office was converted into a make-shift mosque, strewn with prayer mats. I thought it was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional, but there was nothing anyone could do. The HR didnt want to "offend" Islam.

You need to call her to sit and have a private talk with her. She is taking too far the freedom to practise her religious duties. She should have a set time for her prayers and any other time aside from the one you and her have agreed upon will not be acceptable.
For most Muslims "I want to pray" is a statement that can excuse almost anything in the world. In fact if they have just beheaded your child in front of you, they believe "I want to pray" is a get-out-of-jail-free-card that means everyone who hears that statement must immediately back off.

Muslims will routinely leave their desks at work no matter the urgency of what is before them on account that "I want to pray."
Its the height of irresponsible BS.

I have been on/off from my work(shop) for 2weeks now, I have this new worker who is a Muslim and I am a Christian, of course, I am not against her religion or anything, I still grant her the permission to attend mosque every Friday afternoon and I always try to be at shop by 2pm, or get someone to replace her..

Today I came to shop and the first thing I noticed was that she allowed one Alfa that I know very well, into the shop(she knows it is not allowed), my mind told me they were both reciting the Quran before I came in.

Secondly, she told me that she needs to pray (in the shop) that I should excuse her while I had to leave there and go outside..This has never been happening for 3 months she's been here..

Even myself being a Christian, I pray before coming to shop/work.

I wanted to tell her to stop praying in the shop because it is not a praying ground or mosque, should I go ahead?

I am not against her religion whatsoever, even she reads the Quran quietly in the shop and there's no issue about that.
DO NOT permit anyone to mix their religion with their work duties.
DO NOT permit anyone to sleep with an Alfa in the pretense of prayer.
DO NOT permit anyone to chase you out of your own business-space in order to sleep with an Alfa in your business-space.

This is the reason I conclude that democracy cannot work in a poor and illiterate society. Poor people are only after stomach infrastructure, while the illiterate are swayed by irrational emotional sentiments. They don't understand or care about truly altruistic reason like welfare of others and patriotism.

Mariyah the Copt

The following is Muhammad’s scandalous love affair with Mariyah the Copt (Egyptian Christian) who was one of the prophet’s wives’ maids. Muhammad slept with her without any ceremony, which caused uproar among his wives and finally was settled by Divine intervention. This story is recorded in an authenticated Hadith and is reported by Omar. One-day Muhammad goes to his wife Hafsa’s (the daughter of Omar) house and finds her maid Mariyah attractive. He sends Hafsa to Omar’s house, telling her that he wanted to see her (Muhammad lied to Hafsa so that he could have his way with Mariyah). When Hafsa leaves, Muhammad takes Mariyah to bed and has intercourse with her. Meanwhile Hafsa, who finds out that her father was not expecting her, returns home much sooner than expected, and to her chagrin finds her illustrious husband in bed with her maid. She becomes hysteric and forgetting the station of the prophet she shouts and causes a scandal. The prophet pleads with her to calm down and promises not to sleep with Mariah anymore and begs her also not to divulge this secret to anyone else. However, Hafsa would not control herself and relays everything to Aisha who also turns against the prophet and jointly with his other wives cause him much anguish. So the prophet decides to punish all of them and not sleep with any one of his wives for one month. Depriving one’s wives sexually is the second grade of punishment recommended in Quran. The first level is admonishing, the second level is depriving them of sex and the third level of punishment is beating them. (Quran 4:34) Of course when a man decides to punish a wife with sexual deprivation he can satisfy himself with his other wives. But Muhammad’s anger had made him make the oath not to sleep with any of them for one month. That of course would have been too much of hardship for the beloved messenger of God, therefore God in his mercy came to the aid of his prophet and revealed Quran Surah 66. In this Surah Allah rebukes Muhammad for being hard on himself and for depriving himself from what he really likes and has been made lawful for him, in order to please his wives. This is the text of Quran 66:1-5, 1.

Prophet! Why do you ban (for yourself) that which Allâh has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Allâh has already ordained for you (O men), the dissolution of your oaths. And Allâh is your Maula (Lord, or Master, or Protector, etc.) and He is the All-Knower, the All-Wise.

And (remember) when the Prophet (SAW) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives (Hafsah), so when she told it (to another i.e. 'Aishah), and Allâh made it known to him, he informed part thereof and left a part. Then when he told her (Hafsah) thereof, she said: "Who told you this?" He said: "The All-Knower, the All-Aware (Allâh) has told me".

If you two (wives of the Prophet SAW, namely 'Aishah and Hafsah turn in repentance to Allâh, (it will be better for you), your hearts are indeed so inclined (to oppose what the Prophet SAW likes), but if you help one another against him (Muhammad SAW), then verily, Allâh is his Maula (Lord, or Master, or Protector, etc.), and Jibrael (Gabriel), and the righteous among the believers, and furthermore, the angels are his helpers.

It may be if he divorced you (all) that his Lord will give him instead of you, wives better than you, Muslims (who submit to Allâh), believers, obedient to Allâh, turning to Allâh in repentance, worshipping Allâh sincerely, fasting or emigrants (for Allâh's sake), previously married and virgins.

“ Although Muhammad gave his word to Hafsa, not to have sex with her maid he could not resist the temptation. Especially now that he had taken another oath not to sleep with all of his wives. It was a difficult situation and no one but Allah could help him. Well, nothing is impossible when you are the prophet of Allah. Leave everything in the hands of the Almighty and let him take care of it. And that is exactly what happened. Allah himself intervened and gave him the green light to follow his heart's desire. In Quran 66, God licensed his beloved prophet to have his flings and not pay attention to his wives. What can a prophet ask more? Allah was so concerned about Muhammad's carnal pleasures that he even allowed ALL MEN to break their oaths as a bounty. Alhamdulillah! AllahuAkbar! Subhanallah. Isn't Allah great? It is also worthy of mention that Muhammad who came to know that Hafsa did reveal the secret to Aisha, lied to her by pretending that it was Allah who told him so (Ayat 3) while he actually learned it from Aisha. But of course Muhammad is not the author of the Quran. It is Allah himself who is lying for his prophet. In reaction to the above verses, Aisha, who was not only young and pretty but also clever, is reported to have said to Muhammad, "Your God indeed rushes in coming to your aid!" The above story must have been embarrassing for Muhammad’s followers even when they gobbled mindlessly everything he told them that they made other hadiths to explain away those verses of the Quran that were already explained by Omar.

There are some Muslims who say that the hadiths about Muhamamd’s conduct with Mariyah the copt are forged and added later on. The fact is that this incident is reported by all the Sunnah writers including Ibn Sa’d in his Tabaqat and also by Waqidi, one of the two earliest Islamic historians. The real reason about the forgery has come out because Muslims felt embarrassed about the actions of their prophet. However the hadiths about Muhammad sending Hafsa out so he could have sex with Mariyah makes perfect sense. It is in accordance with the Quran and in conformity with Muhammad's depravity of conduct. It was not unusual for Muhammad to solicit sex from women whom he found attractive.

Safiyah
Safiyah was a beautiful 17 years old Jewish woman who was captured when Muhammad’s troops raided Kheibar. She was the daughter or Huyeiy Ibn Akhtab, the chief of the Banu Nadir, a Jewish tribe of Medina, whom Muhammad had beheaded two years earlier along with the men of Banu Quriaza. The tribe of Banu Nadir had been already banished from Medina and their properties were confiscated.

Safiyah was married to her cousin Kinana, who was a young Jewish leader of Kheibar. When Muhammad raided that fortress, he killed its unarmed men and captured the rest. A Jewish traitor, to gain Muhammad’s favor and be spared from death, told him that Kinana was the treasurer of the town and that he used to hide the money in some ruins. Muhammad ordered Kinana to be tortured to reveal the whereabouts of the treasures and killed him. Then he asked the prettiest woman from amongst those captives to be brought to him. Ibn Ishaq writes: "The apostle occupied the Jewish forts one after the other, taking prisoners as he went. Among these were Safiya, the wife of Kinana, the Khaibar chief, and two female cousins: [sisters of Kinana] the apostle chose Safiya for himself. The other prisoners were distributed among the Muslims. Bilal brought Safiya to the apostle, and they passed the bodies of several Jews on the way. Safiya's female companions lamented and strewed dust on their heads. When the apostle of Allâh observed this scene, he said, '
Remove these she devils from me.

'But he ordered Safiya to remain, and threw his reda [cloak] over her. So the Muslims knew he had reserved her for his own. The apostle reprimanded Bilal, saying, 'Hast thou lost all feelings of mercy, to make women pass by the corpses of their husbands?'

Safiyah was taken to Muhammad’s tent. Muhammad wanted to have sex with her on that very night, only hours after torturing to death her husband. She resisted his advances. That night Abu Ayyub al-Ansari guarded the tent of Muhammad. When, in the early dawn, Muhammad saw Abu Ayyub strolling up and down, he asked him what he meant by this sentry-go; he replied: "I was afraid for you with this young lady. You had killed her father, her husband and many of her relatives, I was really afraid for you on her account". (Ibn Ishaq, p. 766) The next day Muhammad covered Safiyah with his mantle, an act signifying that she is now his. Safiyah was groomed and made-up for Muhammad by Umm Sulaim, the mother of Anas ibn Malik and was taken to Muhammad who married her in a mock marriage ceremony and raped her that night. Muslims call this marriage. I call that rape. I am certain not many young women would like to jump into bed with an old man who happens to be the murderer of their father and husband and many other relatives. That poor woman had no choice; therefore that marriage was nothing but a mockery of this sacred institution. At that time Muhammad was close to sixty years old.

Muhammad’s Perverted Nature
By Rashid Alamir

-------
Muslims love to say that Muhammad their “holy prophet” married many woman out of compassion. That is not true. Most of Muhammad’s wives were captives of war and were young, gorgeous and in the prime of their life. Muhammad married them because they were sex bombshells and he desired them in bed with him. As far as women were concerned Muhammad did not believe in compassion. Here is what Muhammad had to say about woman and marriage.
The prophet said that, "the woman can be married for religion, her fortune, or her beauty. So marry one for the religion"
(Abu Issa al-Tarmidi, Sunan al- Tarmidi, Medina n.d., p.275, B: 4, H:1092)

Therefore, according to the Prophet of Islam, a woman is either a creature who will be subjected to brutal conversion to Islam, a golden goose or a sexual plaything. Her virtues, intelligence or personality do not matter. But Muhammad did not stop there. He recommends all Muslims to marry "one for the religion". Now what does this mean? It means to use the institution of marriage to convert non-Muslim girls to Islam. Now you know why so many Muslim men marry non-Muslims girls and convert them to Islam. It also shows what high regard Islam has for the sacred institution of Marriage. Now does it make it clear what perverted views Muhammad had with regard to woman and marriage? Muhammad married Khadija for her fortune. She was a wealthy woman. Muhammad married six year old Aisha for her firm tender body. Muhammad married his adopted son’s wife for her beauty. He married the rest of the woman for sex and for religion. Is there any doubt about it now? We will discuss a couple of incidents regarding Muhammad and his perverted nature in relation to his wives.

Okay,I challenge you to bring one proof to show your delusional vituperations are true about our prophet if I won't debunk it.
Just one?
As I said, there are way too many instances which disclose the sexx obsession and perversity of Muhammad. But as I also said, I know that this is a waste of time because you will not see anything wrong with his perversity. Some of the instances will not even be clear to you as perversity on account of your mindset. Especially since Allah is said to make special exemption for Muhammad, permitting him things which are unlawful to other believers. How convenient, of course, seeing as he also happens to be Allah's mouth piece. Its not just marrying Aisha at six or even taking his daughter-in-law to bed. There is much more.
- - - - - - - - - - -

Narrated Um Khalid bint Khalid:

When I came from Ethiopia (to Medina), I was a young girl. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made me wear a sheet having marks on it. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was rubbing those marks with his hands saying, "Sanah! Sanah!" (i.e. good, good).

Sahih al-Bukhari 3874

2. We can't say Muhammad was not lustful after the death of Khadija. Khadija was very rich so Muhammad obeyed her. Khadija was very powerful and Muhammad obeyed her. Also choosing older women does not mean he is not lustful. The taste of men for women varies.

Narrated Qatada:

Anas bin Malik said, " Prophet (ﷺ) used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet (ﷺ) the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet (ﷺ) was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa`id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven).

Sahih al-Bukhari 268

3. Even after 11 wife's Muhammad welcomed women who wanted to give themselves to him.

33:50

O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war, and the daughters of thine uncle on the father's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the father's side, and the daughters of thine uncle on the mother's side and the daughters of thine aunts on the mother's side who emigrated with thee, and a believing woman if she give herself unto the Prophet and the Prophet desire to ask her in marriage - a privilege for thee only, not for the (rest of) believers - We are Aware of that which We enjoined upon them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess - that thou mayst be free from blame, for Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful

When Many women came Muhammad did'nt like all of them. Allah revealed 33:51 for Muhammad to select the women he wants.

33:51

Thou canst defer whom thou wilt of them and receive unto thee whom thou wilt, and whomsoever thou desirest of those whom thou hast set aside (temporarily), it is no sin for thee (to receive her again); that is better; that they may be comforted and not grieve, and may all be pleased with what thou givest them. Allah knoweth what is in your hearts (O men), and Allah is ever Forgiving,

Aisha was disgusted of the Women who gave themseves to the prophet.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported:

I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

Sahih Muslim 1464a

Narrated Aisha:

I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah’s Apostle and I used to say, "Can a lady give herself (to a man)?" But when Allah revealed: "You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily)." (33.51) I said (to the Prophet), "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 311)

4. Muhammad was once caught having sex with Mariya, a Coptic Christian( Note: Christians are haram in Mecca but halal in the bed of the prophet) by Hafsa after returning from her father after a visit. Hafsa broke down. Muhammad first apologised and promised her that he won't repeat this. Then Allah revealed Surah 66 saying that these were lawful for the prophet

66:1

O Prophet! Why bannest thou that which Allah hath made lawful for thee, seeking to please thy wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

66:2

Allah hath made lawful for you (Muslims) absolution from your oaths (of such a kind), and Allah is your Protector. He is the Knower, the Wise

Tafsir Al Jalalyn:

[66:1]

O Prophet! Why do you prohibit what God has made lawful for you, in terms of your Coptic handmaiden

Māriya — when he lay with her in the house of Hafsa, who had been away, but who upon returning [and

finding out] became upset by the fact that this had taken place in her own house and on her own bed — by

saying, ‘She is unlawful for me!’, seeking, by making her unlawful [for you], to please your wives? And God

is Forgiving, Merciful, having forgiven you this prohibition.

[66:2]

Verily God has prescribed, He has made lawful, for you [when necessary] the absolution of your oaths, to

absolve them by expiation, as mentioned in the sūrat al-Mā’ida [Q. 5:89] and the forbidding of [sexual

relations with] a handmaiden counts as an oath, so did the Prophet (s) expiate? Muqātil [b. Sulaymān] said,

‘He set free a slave [in expiation] for his prohibition of Māriya’; whereas al-Hasan [al-Basrī] said, ‘He never

expiated, because the Prophet (s) has been forgiven [all errors]’. And God is your Protector, your Helper,

and He is the Knower, the Wise.

It was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but 'Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed:

"O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you.' until the end of the Verse.

Sunan an nasai 3411

Later Mariya bore a son for the prophet called Ibrahim who died young.

4. Muhammad's relation with Safiya.

Muhammad killed the father and husband of Safiya and married her. Within hours after the death of her husband and her father Muhammad had sex with her. According to Deuteronomy the waiting period for a captive is 1 month. I don't think a woman who just lost her husband and her father will open her legs for a man who killed them. It is rape.

Yes,everything that was permissible before fasting becomes permissible after one breaks his fast.
Whether its eating, drinking and even having sexual intercourse with ones spouse becomes permissible
You see, the thing is, one would appreciate the idea of a complete withdrawal from "the world" for a time, for spiritual cogitation, and in this, the denial of the body is key. The idea is almost something like a monk withdrawing into a cave atop a mountain, and staying away from all pleasure, all self-gratification for a time. There is something to this idea.

Doing it in a way that allows all of these same pleasures everyday through the process is simply not the same thing. It robs the process of the real purity it is striving to achieve.

Let me add this too,yes there is sex in Paradise too.
Even the virgins you like to spite our faces with, yes,we will have them.
The idea of sexx in paradise just goes to show how sexx obsessed Islam is (the prophet was a sexxually obsessed man, and a highly perverted one at that). In addition to that, the fact that your paradise only envisages sexxual joy for men says all there is to be said about the chauvinism and misogyny inherent in Islam. What makes you think your womenfolk would not also like to be in the cosmic equivalent of a gigolo-house?

I am proud to be a Muslim and I pray and hope that some of you who keep troubling us would one day be guided to see the light of Islam.
You probably know little about Islam and the medieval caravan robber, killer, pedophile and rapist who started it, Muhammad.

I dont have a religion: but no worries: just take it easy with striking your head on the ground. Its not healthy. It can cause brain damage.

I don't know why y'all so obsessed with islam. if it's fake fast pls do it for two days
Joker. I regularly go weeks without a jot of food just because of my mood, and I am not even religious.
Now the truth is because I do that, I am aware that the body does weaken and the spirit does strengthen through such a process. It becomes more alive, or perhaps you become more sensitive to it, absent the weight of the physical burden - which has been reduced by being denied. This often takes one to an intensely spiritual place.

This cannot be achieved with the sort of over-feeding before dawn and after dusk which happens with Islamic fasting.

I don't know what is your problem commenting under Muslim post
Why are Muslims so sensitive to anyone commenting on Islam?

So much so that it leads to beheadings, stabbings, and other such Islamic hobbies.

Islam and fake fasting. Stuff yourself before Dawn and stuff yourself after Dusk. No wonder they come out of Ramadan fatter.

Now Lukgaf says feel free to knack all night as well. Just pray afterwards.

Well, with permission for four wives (and the authority to divorce and replace any of them at a heartbeat), what else.

Islam does not slack once it comes to knacking. That is, the knacking rights of men. By the prophets beard, I swear.

There is little to contribute as I agree with the thrust of what you write here, even if I find it largely light-weight.

People like you are simply light weight follow-follow atheists. Trend atheists.

Politics › Re: Energy Crisis: Electricity National Grid Collapses Again by DeepSight(m): 10:06am On Apr 11, 2022
Jakumo:
Nigeria is a nation of professional complainers, who love nothing more than heaping abuse on whoever happens to be the current president of that nation. Check the roofs in any American neighborhood, and you will see solar panels everywhere, especially on the West Coast and in states like Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Georgia, where the sun blazes down with intensity for much of the year.

Matter of fact, American homeowners are encouraged to invest in solar power for their homes and businesses, with tax breaks offered to those who install solar power alternatives, and by allowing owners of solar-powered homes and businesses to SELL their surplus generated power back into the national grid, whereby their electricity consumption meters actually run in reverse, generating credit that is paid back in cash to solar power consumers who remain connected to the national electrical grid.

It is certain that many of the people who make a career out of heaping abuse on successive Nigerian government administrations for their failure to supply enough electrical power have invested MILLIONS of naira to buy noisy, polluting, fuel-guzzling diesel and petrol generators to power their homes and business premises. For a fraction of the money wasted on generators and fuel, those same short-sighted complainers could have purchased solar power systems that would power their homes and businesses silently, with zero pollution and zero maintenance, for years and years.

The choice is yours, pellow kwantirimans. You can continue pointing the finger of blame at the current and future governments in Nigeria, or you can awaken from your stupor and go solar. Solar panels have a lifespan of 25 years before they need replacement. The deep-cycle batteries used to store energy from those solar panels have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years before requiring replacement. Compare that cost to the litany of recurrent expenditure for repair and fuel of noisy generators, and you don't need a college degree to realize that you need to go solar NOW.
I don't think it's realistic to put forward solar as a solution for the majority of Nigerians who cannot afford it. It's generally for the well to do in these parts, as yet.
