Kobojunkie:For a person who believes that he/ she owes his/her parents nothing, you're one to speak on this subject. You'd better shut your lousy trap and stay away from a subject such as this since you have no appreciation for the work of parenthood. |
Hndrrxxx:Whats this with you always saying this. Perhaps its a joke or something i'm not clever enough or clued on enough to catch on to. Mind breaking it down? Please oh, dont respond with that horrible line, I take God beg you, I am sensitive to words like that. |
It is a good thing to observe continuity in government, and this should form no grounds to begin to excoriate the administration that commenced a project in favour of the administration that completed it. Having said that, I don't know who advised this administration to name that Bridge after the President. Firstly, naming projects after sitting executives is a poor corporate governance ethic and out of kilter with global best practices. You do not celebrate your own self by naming projects being executed with tax payers money after yourself. Traditionally this is done by succeeding administrations who will recognize your good work after you have left the scene. Secondly I wonder if they are trying to poke their fingers directly into the eyes of our dear brothers and sisters of the South East because naming such a bridge after Buhari is just as bad as the previous attempt to name the Enugu International Airport after Obafemi Awolowo. It is like naming a bridge in Jerusalem after Hitler; its a most egregiously offensive and thoughtless idea and it will no doubt be reversed in future. |
kaymart:An impostor out to ruin someone. |
benodic:I still have some difficulty with this, because the very fact that creatures have to compete violently for survival sets the scene already for what is called evil. This thus suggests to me that evil is hardwired into the nature of Earth-Life. In the higher spiritual worlds there is only unity. No duality. Only pure love and light.1. Are you sure that it doesnt stand to reason that duality exists from primordial eternity as an indispensable factor of reality? Think about it. Where there is up there must be down, where there is left there must be right, where there is good there must be evil, where there is light, there must be dark, where there is positive, there must be negative - otherwise each and every one of these precepts instantly becomes meaningless. Indeed, you noted this almost without realizing it, save that you sought to limit this to the "lower worlds." I would like to suggest to you that duality is intrinsic to reality and not limited to any "lower worlds" and that it is human fantasy alone which seeks to suggest that the ultimate being - "God" - must be light and good and loving and perfect etc, without also being all the polar opposites of these things. Indeed if you reflect on it, God, to be complete, must subsume all of these things. 2. Please tell me more about this "sugmad" and what it represents and what the meaning of the word is, and its connotations. |
shidof:Is this all you have to say? Well don't make assumptions because I fully support the Palestinian cause in Palestine and I believe the Israeli government is practicing apartheid against the Palestinians. I also believe that the current crop of Jews in Israel are actually a mixed group of Europeans with Jewish ancestry, faint Jewish ancestry in many cases. See what I said here - https://www.nairaland.com/6997675/vladimir-putin-orders-russian-troops/3#110437378 https://www.nairaland.com/6997675/vladimir-putin-orders-russian-troops/3#110438103 So there. Dont make assumptions. My point was about the fact that that site was the site of the Jewish temple which is still holy to Jews. Muslims built their own sacred site there, but if any one tried that with Muslims, you know the result. |
benodic:Are you sure about this? Should we not be careful of assuming this? Because just how far are we prepared to go with this: will we end up for instance saying that carnivorous animals who kill other animals for food for are doing something unnatural? Animals are souls too at a lower level of consciousness. It is the same passions of the mind that controls them producing such viciousness that you witness in nature. The more soul grows in consciousness, the more it is able to control these passions. Will you say it is the same passions of mind that lead to animals killing for food, for instance and is there anything wrong with that? Or animals killing for territory or for females? Love is the greatest quality that Soul can ever achieve. It is what makes us God-Like.It is my view that whatever is described as God must necessarily be such a primordial element that holds the potentiality of all conceivable realities and eventualities. Thus this would include every possibility of everything that could conceivably manifest, including love and its opposite: hatred - and for this reason I hesitate when people say God is love for it seems to me more rational to say that God is all possible things. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things - Isaiah 45 v 7 |
shidof:Europeans are right to be scared of Islam - they fought and bled for centuries for their precious freedoms and liberal tolerance - why should they not guard their freedoms jealously, we all know Islam will take away all freedoms and liberal tolerance if it becomes the majority religion in Europe. |
shidof:My friend stop lying, Slovakia didnt ban Islam, they simply put in place a regulation which requires a minimum number of signatures in order to set up official establishments. However I grant that the regulation was targeted at Islam and as far as I am concerned it is fully in order: it is only a recent development and is an appropriate response to Islam, given what has obtained in Saudi Arabia already throughout its existence. In fact, I would say the whole of Europe should indeed beware of the spread of Islam because we all love Europe for its liberal freedoms and tolerance - but if Islam ever becomes the dominant religion in Europe, we can kiss goodbye to that, and we all know that. Can you imagine Europe being governed by Sharia law? And yet, this disgusting and horrifying prospect is exactly what will happen in future if Europeans are not careful with Islam because the rate of multiplication of Muslims as you know is extraordinary on account of the four wives principle. On Jerusalem matter, are you even aware that there are far more Muslims in Jerusalem than Christians. In Nazareth where Jesus even born the last I checked, Muslim to Christian ratio was 2 to 1 and even in the whole Jewish dominated Israel as a country. Muslim are far more than the Christians.Of course Islam is always happy to seize what belongs to other people and establish itself in the place of other religions even while the reverse will doubtless lead to an eternity of bloodshed. I can see that intolerance and violence run in your blood and I can't blame you for that, you're brought up with hatred and it's fully consumed you. Who knows possibly you've never stepped out of your erosion ridden region before. There you go: you had to reveal what a tribalist you really are: you have even assumed I belong to a certain tribe which you probably hate on account of their aversion to Islam - I do not belong to that tribe, however even if I did, that should not give you sleepless nights, bigot. - - - Violence is a tenet of Islam, admit it. Oppression of women is a tenet of Islam, admit it. Honor killing is a tenet of Islam, admit it. Pedophilia is a tenet of Islam, and was practiced by your Prophet on Aisha, admit it. |
Deejayprof:God? No wait oh. E be like say you no no the guy at all. E dey gbadun dis kain tin. Na entertainment for am. |
Mintum:Not even five per cent paa pa |
ArewaNorth:Ol boy, you are talking above my head. Perhaps deliberately so as to avoid accountability for your position. I have no idea what you mean by my original faith and what its relevance is here. Stand up, straighten your back, square up your shoulders and speak straight, or forever hold your peace in cowardly shame. |

shidof:The Vatican city is a really small space which is the HQ of the Roman Catholic Church. The correct comparison should be to ask if there are Mosques in predominantly Christian countries. Or other predominantly non Islamic countries. And there are. In fact there is even a mosque on the temple mount in Jerusalem, I think your prophet claimed to have clambered aboard a flying horse therefrom. By contrast no church building is allowed in Saudi Arabia and if you are honest you will admit this this just one example out of thousands of examples of the Islamic tendency to intolerance and absolutism. Freedom is alien to Islam, admit it. Tolerance is alien to Islam, admit it. Women are slaves in Islam, admit it. Violence is a tenet of Islam, admit it. |
ArewaNorth:I don't think I mentioned any agenda. What agenda are you referring to. Maybe you may be so kind as to share. |
shidof:Where I have been to is not relevant (even though I have been to these places). The UAE is Islamic yes, but the freedoms permitted there (in Dubai for instance) are on account that it is structured as an international business hub. Notwithstanding this the freedoms are very limited. Now stop avoiding the question: is there any church in Saudi Arabia? |
ArewaNorth:Do those other people shout the praises of their gods when perpetrating those acts? Do they relate their actions to anything required by their religion? Islamist terrorists shout Allahu Akbar before and during their massacres, and they base their actions on Islamic injunctions. |
shidof:1. Who are my folks? 2. Can you point me to any non Islamic religion which is permitted freedom of practice and expression in Saudi Arabia? |
shidof:Yeah, enjoy the tolerance and freedom provided by other cultures whilst Islam denies same for others, okay? |
NwaAmaikpe:Earn high, go back and live cheap, you are a big boy with your gateman salary |
That invasion of privacy and of course you can sue: be sure to lament a few million dollar business transactions that were truncated on account of this action of his as well. |
LastProphet:GBAM! |
Emir01:No issues here: they should simply make provisions for ALL religious people to have their way with their preferred mode of dressing as dictated by their faith as well. That is what diversity-consciousness is, not hyper-sensitivity to a single religion above others. |
lexy2014:Don't mind him, he must be nuts. A person who cannot conduct a proper conversation with any other world leader is a man of vision indeed! |
Mrquote:I wrote re.tarded, the autobot changed it to slow. |
Empiree:The United States did not give us democracy, and in fact that country that did is not secular. Please smarten up before approaching public fora. |
assholemods:Okay if you are talking about balance how come the balancer forgot to make provisions for other religious preferences as well? |
Mrquote:People like Africanpride1 are the reason this country is re.tarded. |
africanpride1:*Faints.* |
africanpride1:You have a point here. That's why he handed over 4 Massive Ministries to him at same Time!Wait oh - Power, Works & Housing - and which was the fourth, please remind me? Those that say Buhari is a tribalist or nepotic don't see far into what has happened, he is a good man who believes that Nigeria should make great Progress.Anyone who denies that Buhari is nepotism personified is a child belched from the darkest and hottest pit of hell-fire. |
It is truly amazing to watch the Buhari presidency. A president who lamented medical tourism by public officers has been one of the greatest medical tourists in public office. A president who wept over "kwarapshin" lifted up the hand of Gandollars and campaigned for his re-election. A president who was swept to office on a tide of assurances over security issues has bested GEJ at incompetence in security. |
assholemods:You miss his point. When we have really serious problems its disheartening to see the sort of attention that is paid to absolute irrelevancies. |
