seanfer: Fear shows on Saraki’s face.... And Oshibajo did not help matter with that Smile... PMB squeezing Saraki’s Hand and we can see the muscles... After the election if PMB should win Saraki will be His first casualty...
You people are just consoling yourselves, buhari that can't face saraki squarely without glasses,if not for namu namu phenomenon buhari can't talk were saraki speaks.
ABUJA- Herdsmen, under the auspices of Myetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, Nasarawa State Chapter, have said that they have realized the benefits of cattle ranching and ready to embrace it.
This was disclosed by the coordinator, MACBAN, Nasarawa State Chapter who also doubles as Sarkin Yaki, Gaate of Gaate community, Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Farmrade Retson Tedheke, who expressed excitement over the practical training they have received from an agribusiness firm. The firm operates, in the community, a cattle ranch and crop farming on over 3, 000 hectares of land.
Tedheke, with the realization and enthusiasm, revealed that with the proper management of proper cropping and animal husbandry system, that there will be peaceful co-existence as everything within the farming environment is useful for both farmers and herders who are into ranching, as they benefit from each other in terms of utilization of waste from farms as feeds and in return, cattle dungs as manure for the crops. It would be recalled that the Federal Government, about three years ago, came up with ranching as solution to curb the incessant bloody clashes between herdsmen and farmers across the country, which some states including Nasarawa volunteered to give some hectares of land for the take off cattle ranches.
The ranches are where the government will build settlements for herders including provision of some basic amenities to support and sustain the development as a way to address and arrest open grazing that has led to serious debates on the move by the government. He said: “As you can see, our cattle are looking fresh, healthy and in less than two years, we will have system that is all encompasses in animal husbandry. You are not just taking the waste from the farm to feed the cattle but you can as well use their dung as direct organic manure and in the future, we can use them to create renewable energy. “From what we are doing, we have not been able to provide jobs but we have been able to bring the Fulani community around together and they are learning from what we are doing here.
“We have been able to take in the Fulani, used their experience and created a harmonious relationship between the Fulani and the community and also the Fulani are beginning to understand that if you treat your cattle this way, you are going to have better milk yield and healthy meat for consumption in the case of beef.
“What we are trying to do is to create a system where we can properly manage a proper cropping and animal husbandry system whereby everything within the farming environment is useful. You see, almost every waste in the farm can be utilised as feeds and in return, you have dung as manure for the crops.”
The idea of ranching itself is good but the host state of the middle belt especially Benue, taraba n nasarawa states should be very careful n visionary in it's implementation,it might turn out to be a legal route to what the fulanis has been violently pursuing, what the states need to do to protect their peoples heritage is to make laws making those ranches government properties n anyone using them shall only rent them with out any right to claim ownership, the renters must be registered n their activities closely monitored, once beaten twice shy.
martyns303: Lies from the pit of hell, that project has been on going long before PMB. It has absolutely nothing to do with this administration, stop ascribing every project to the government. If this government was involved in this project in anyway, everyone would have long heard about it.
You don't just go and snap pictures of on going project and claim it for political purpose, what kind of desperation is this? I am from Rivers and very much in know of this project.
Shame on the moderator who pushed this to the front page without correct findings.
Niger Delta Exploration & Production Plc (NDEP) is Nigeria’s first integrated oil and gas investment company. Founding Chairman, Late Chief Godwin Aret Adams, a former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and other highly respected professionals came together to initiate a truly indigenous public oil company.
Thanks for bursting the decietful propagandists called Apc/buhari Zombies claiming private investment as buhari infrastructural achievements, useless bunch of baboons.
naptu2: The Kadaria Ahmed that I know will not allow that to happen.
Something similar has happened in the past (during the 2011 debate). Kadaria was the moderator and she asked buhari a question about electricity and he was trying to escape from the question, but she pinned him down.
naptu2: President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will take part in a 2 hour live town hall meeting called “The Candidates”. The event will be shown live on the Network Service of the NTA and partner stations and online via Daria Media on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 7pm. It will be moderated by Kadaria Ahmed.
The candidates will answer questions from the moderator, from the audience and from viewers at home.
The presidential candidate of Young Progressive Party, Kingsley Moghalu and his running mate, Uma Getso, appeared on “The Candidates” on January 9th. Here are videos of that episode.

ok,but if buhari is asked a question, let him answer it himself, let there be no case of "I think the VP will answer that better" or osibanjo doing over Sabi Sabi that " Mr President let me offer some clarifications sir".
OmoEpe: There's nothing like replacement CJ position is order of hierarchy the next in line of hierarchy takes over irrespective of where the person is from

During saraki's CCT trial one of the point raised by saraki was that by the provisions of the CCB act, they are supposed to call the attention of any accussed person to any irregularities in their assets declaration n seek satisfactory clearifications while also carrying out their own investigations to establish a prima facie case against the accuse before subjecting the accuse to trial, which was not done. The constitution also clearly outlines the procedures of of dealing with judicial official found wanting,if not because buhari/Apc are pursuing a hidden agenda why is all these processes not been followed?,but this will serve as a good lesson for the educated grammar intoxicated southern Christian's, already one them sagay is already praising his demigod buhari.
The presidency has called on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State to desist from basing his campaign for re-election on falsehoods concerning President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to a statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Governor Ortom’s campaign is designed to drive attention from pertinent issues in Benue state.
“Governor Ortom’s campaign is clearly one designed to stir division and hatred, and to divert the people’s attention from his inability to pay staff salaries and pensions for several months.
Below is the full statement by the presidency.
“It has been noted that the governor has been visiting churches in the state where he falsely tells congregations about President Buhari’s so-called plans to Islamise Benue State.
This nonsense has formed the basis of his campaign, because he has nothing to offer Benue people.
The allegations coming from Ortom were particularly unfair, when one considers how much support the governor received from the Federal Government, which supported his grazing laws as a means to end the farmer-herder crises that have plagued the state.
If not for President Buhari’s insistence that the governor be given a chance to effect the law, he would have faced resistance from different sources and found it difficult to implement.
While advising Ortom to immediately stop his dubious attacks on President Buhari, the Federal Government calls on the people of Benue State to not fall for Ortom’s deception and allow themselves to be hoodwinked by such a negative campaign.
They should instead, ask him why he has refused to pay staff salaries and pensions for months, and what he did with the funding from the excess crude account which should ideally have gone towards addressing such payments”.
The idiot Garba shehu should go n park elsewhere, it's a fact that the fulani crisis in Benue is not just about grazing but dominance n control of the state which buhari is tacitly supporting her kinsmen to pursue, under buhari's support the fulanis now have the effontry to claim indegineship of Benue!,a great historical n cultural lie, fulanis are citizens of Nigeria but certainly never an indeginous ethnic group in Benue, ortom is very right in standing for his people, even the salary issue has federal government fault behind it,Garba shehu can only fool those that don't know, it's very painful, disgraceful n unfortunate that a person of Akume's standing will be shamelessly willing to sell off his people's destiny for political patronage not minding grevious future implications of such actions, Benue will certainly reject buhari/Apc Garba shehu can only waste his breath.
A massive hike of 240 per cent in the prices of petrol and diesel goes into effect today in Zimbabwe.
Petrol was selling for 1.32 dollars (N481) per litre before Sunday’s hike. Now, it will be sold at $3.31 per litre.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced the increases Saturday night.
He said the prices were predicated on the prevailing rate of 1:1 between the U.S. dollar and the surrogate bond note.
Mnangagwa revealed the increases to journalists at the State House ahead of his tour of Eastern Europe and Switzerland.
He said: “The government has today decided on the following corrective measures, with effect from midnight tonight, fuel pump price of $3.11 per litre for diesel and $3.31 for petrol will come into effect.” (In naira terms petrol is N1204 per litre and diesel N1135).
“Guests of government by way of foreign missions, other registered foreign bodies and tourists will fuel and refuel at designated points at the price of 1.24 U.S. dollars per litre for diesel and 1.32 U.S. dollars per litre for petrol upon production of proper identification documents,” Mnangagwa said.
The fuel price increases coincided with government’s decision that the country will have its own currency within 12 months, thus jettisoning the US dollar.
Zimbabwean Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli Ncube said adopting the U.S. dollar or the South African rand would not solve the country’s macro-economic problems.
Asked to give a timeline on when local currency would be reintroduced, Ncube said it would be done “in less than 12 months.”
He said separating the parity between Real Time Gross Settlement accounts (RTGS) and foreign currency accounts (FCA) was the beginning of currency reforms which are necessary for pushing the country’s economy in the right direction.
“Our job is to introduce a currency that will be stable and less volatile. Dealing with the fiscal side is the first order to move towards a stable currency,” Ncube said.
Zimbabwe adopted the use of multi-currencies in 2009 after its local currency had been rendered worthless by hyperinflation.
To relieve cash shortages, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe introduced the bond note in late 2016.
Initially pegged at 1:1 against the U.S. dollar when it was introduced, the bond note, however, has gradually lost value against the real currency and is now trading at about one-third the value of the U.S. dollar.
If this is a preemptive attempt by buhari/Apc to justify fuel price increase in advance then it's unacceptable, the write up stated Clearly that the bond note(equivalent of a currency) introduce by the reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is now trading at 3 to 1$,our naira is close to 400to1$ so this comparative analysis is flawed n only criminally intended to decieve the poorly informed in the usual deceitful manner of buhari/Apc.
olujastro: It's only when politics and elections are concerned that the stupidity and ethno-religious bigotry of Nigerians unveil itself.
Did you read the part where the CJN Onnoghen didn't declare his assets until just two months after the sweep on the judiciary in October 2016? Even at that, Onnoghen only declared his Union Bank accounts and hid his Dollars, Euros, Pounds and Naira accounts with Standard Chartered Bank. He only funded those accounts through cash deposits running into thousands of hard currencies. The balances on those foreign accounts were $164,804.82, GBP108,352.2, EUROS 55,154.56 and N8,131,195.27 as at 14th November 2016.
Now, for a right thinking and patriotic citizen, is this is not enough reason to prosecute him for corruption and possible enrichment through bribes that must have influenced judicial cases?
You are now writing grammar but your type are quiet when it comes to buratai buying mansions in Dubai, danbazau, oshiomole etc.
mackay37: A civil society group, Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative (ARDI), has launched a legal move to remove Walter Onnoghen as the chief justice of Nigeria, TheCable can report.
ARDI has petitioned the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), listing a number of allegations against Onnoghen — notably false declaration of assets.
The group said its petition, dated January 7, 2019, became necessary “bearing in mind the imminence of the 2019 General Elections and the overwhelming roles of the Judicial Arm both before and after”.
The petition was stamped “received” by the office of the CCB chairman on January 9, 2019.
The CCB is empowered by the constitution to investigate public officers, after which it would forward its findings to the appropriate body for trial if the allegations are confirmed.
What are the core allegations?
ARDI said Onnoghen “is the owner of sundry accounts primarily funded through cash deposits made by himself up to as recently as 10th August 2016 which appear to have been run in a manner inconsistent with financial transparency and the code of conduct for public officials”.
In the petition seen by TheCable, the group said Onnoghen made five different cash deposits of $10,000 each on March 8, 2011, into Standard Chartered Bank Account 1062650; two separate cash deposits of $5000 each followed by four cash deposits of $10,000 each on June 7, 2011; another set of five separate cash deposits of $10,000 each on June 27, 2011, and four more cash deposits of $10,000 each the following day.
The campaigners said Onnoghen did not declare his assets immediately after taking office, contrary to section 15 (1) of Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act; and that he did not comply with the constitutional requirement for public servants to declare their assets every four years during their career.
Also alleged against him is that his Code of Conduct Bureau Forms (Form CCB 1) for 2014 and 2016 were dated and filed on the same day and the acknowledgement slips were issued for both on December 14, 2016 — at which point, they said, Onnoghen had become the CJN.
Onnoghen assumed office as CJN on March 6, 2017.
ARDI alleged that prior to 2016, Onnoghen appeared “to have suppressed or otherwise concealed the existence of these multiple domiciliary accounts owned by him, as well as the substantial cash balances in them”.
These account balances were listed against his name by ARDI:
The Standard Chartered Bank dollar account 1062650 with a balance of $391,401.28 on January 31, 2011 The Standard Chartered Bank Euro account 5001062686 with a balance of EURO 49,971 .71 on January 31, 2011 The Standard Chartered Bank pound sterling account 5001062679 with a balance of GBP23,409.66 on February 28, 2011. “It is curious that these domiciliary accounts were not declared in one of the two CCB Forms filed by Justice Onnoghen on the same day, 14th December 2016,” the group said.
ARDI said it believed its petition had established cases of “suspicious financial and other transactions against His Lordship, collusion between His Lordship and various banks related to Suspicious Transactions Reporting (STR) and financial transactions not justifiable by His Lordship’s lawful remuneration at all material times”.
What happens next?
The Code of Conduct Bureau, according to section 3 (e) of the Third Schedule (part 1) of the 1999 constitution, shall “receive complaints about non-compliance with or breach of the provisions of the Code of Conduct or any law in relation thereto, investigate the complaint and, where appropriate, refer such matters to the Code of Conduct Tribunal”.
However, since judicial officers are disciplined by the National Judicial Commission (NJC), it is unlikely the CCB will refer his case to the Code of Conduct Tribunal if the allegations are found to have substance.
It could be referred to NJC, of which Onnoghen is the chairman, but he would have to recuse himself from the process.
If found guilty, he could be asked to vacate his office as CJN, in addition to other punishments.
No chief justice of Nigeria has ever been subjected to trial, although the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has charged judges to court over allegations of graft and money laundering.
An early morning raid was conducted by the secret police on the residences of some judges in 2016 and substantial amounts of money in local and foreign currencies were recovered.
What is the link to elections?
ARDI linked its petition to the elections and the role the judiciary plays in the final outcome, and this could lead to speculation that it is a preemptive move against the bench.
The group said it is “inevitable that His Lordship is also by these acts a likely hostage to the sources of these funds and beholden to or generally corrupted by their clandestine interests which might prove injurious to the Judiciary which he heads, and by extension the nation”.
ARDI in the past defended actions by Buhari — including the alleged purchase of $496 million aircraft from the US without due process.
“The president’s only sin is that he did not seek the approval of NASS for the release of the fund; he did not embezzle it. For anyone to think of impeachment process against him is not right. We have many problems at hand. Violation of a constitutional provision is bad but it is worse to act in an immoral manner,” Dennis Aghanya, the executive secretary, said at the time.
What does Onnoghen think?
When contacted, Awassam Bassey, media aide of Onnoghen, said he had not seen the petition and would not want to comment on the issue.
“I have no comment whatsoever to make on this issue. If the petition was sent to the Code of Conduct Bureau, then they are in the best position to state if the CJN declared his assets or not,” he told TheCable via telephone.
Asked to react to the allegations of foreign accounts, Bassey said: “I have just told you that I haven’t seen the petition. How can I comment on an issue that I don’t know the genesis? I have no comment whatsoever. Thank you.”
In September 2017, Bassey had said Onnoghen had nothing to hide and was open to investigation.
“It is the first time he is being aware of any allegations or intelligence against him, neither has he been invited or called upon to offer any explanation on any impropriety. However, the Hon. CJN wishes to assure the public that he has nothing to hide and is open to investigation,” he had said.
“As a committed patriot who has spent all his adult life in the temple of justice, the Hon. CJN is ready to pay the required price to make the nation a better place.”
A senior lawyer told TheCable that the ruling party “does not trust Onnoghen to do their bidding in rigging the elections and giving judicial affirmation to their shenanigans, as you can see in the court cases that have gone against APC in recent weeks”.
A former governor from the south-south is allegedly behind the petition.
This is a very good political lesson by the hausa/fulani for the Southerners, buhari Never intended appointing the cj in the first place he was virtually force to accept him by circumstances n now seen the cloudy horizon ahead n the strategic position/role of the cj he has reason that the cj must be done away with by hook or crook, ask Akpabio,Amaechi, oshiomole, keyamo or obono obla n they will tell the cj should not bother because buhari has integrity!.
AnonPoet: A Clarion Call In Defence Of Our Constitution I have received the news of the sudden charges about to be filed against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, with apprehension and suspicion especially as such a move against the head of an arm of our government is coming so close to an election in which the Buhari administration has shown growing desperation.
My suspicions are further exacerbated by the fact that the Buhari government is pressuring an independent and self governing arm of government with the aim of getting CJN Walter Onnoghen to resign or be pushed aside.
I stand on the side of the rule of law and believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty and note that a media trial is no trial.
If Justice Walter Onnoghen is guilty of the charges about to be preferred against him, let his guilt be determined by a competent court of law and not by the Buhari administration. The executive cannot usurp the role of the judiciary. Nigeria is still a democracy and not a fascist dictatorship as President Buhari may wish.
Any attempt to force Justice Walter Onnoghen to vacate his office, 4 weeks to an election for which the unpopular Buhari administration has shown every intention to manipulate, is a move pregnant with negative meaning.
I see no reason whatsoever for the ongoing pressure by the Buhari government to force Justice Walter Onnoghen to vacate office when he has not been convicted for any offence.
Nigerians may recall that this government has a history of manipulating the law against the heads of arms of government it considers unfriendly to its cause. A case in point is their malicious prosecution and persecution of the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Bukola Saraki.
I therefore call on the President to respect the principle of separation of powers and abide by the rule of law on this matter and stop any interference or pressure on Justice Walter Onnoghen or the judiciary and allow the law and the constitution take its full course.
Atiku Abubakar Vice President of Nigeria, 1999-2007 Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party
This is where the stupidity of the so call educated Southerners will surface, you will never hear their voices only to go n be grumbling in hidden but when it was one of their own they were always willing to destroy,if anyone is in doubt, just ask Amaechi, oshiomole etc they knows better.
National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu on Friday stated that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar abandoned Lagos State when he was in office.
The former Lagos governor said Atiku, then vice president, failed to act when the Obasanjo government seized the state’s local government allocation.
Tinubu spoke in Abuja when he received the representatives of traditional rulers from South West States led by Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
“Atiku was Vice President of this country when the local government allocation for Lagos state was seized. When we led a protest to Atiku then, he said go away. Go and comply.
“Without those allocation, you cannot bring development. When we said we needed power to power Lagos and the industrial base in our region, they said no”, Daily Trust quoted him as saying.
“They were taking away N250 million from our allocation every month for being innovative and creative. Everywhere we turn, they rejected us and punished us. But we never gave up.
“Today, we are in that progressive development championed and led by President Muhammadu Buhari. Thank you for not looking back. Thank you for visiting and encouraging him.
“I am very happy and proud of the very promising situation. When you have the endorsement of your Royal fathers, it means you have the people with you and the voice of the people is the voice of God. I am elated.”
Tinubu is just been mischievous because of politics, let him confront Obasanjo directly,he knows exactly where his problem lied during that administration.
9Ebiscoo: The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, has recommended steps to take in addressing the issue of politicians allegedly plotting to buy Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in the general elections.
He advised the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, to immediately call a meeting of stakeholders in the coming polls.
Senator Saraki gave the advice on Thursday in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu.
The meeting, he noted, should be convened with the sole aim of formulating plans and ideas on how to render useless the intention of the purported politicians with intention of buying PVCs.
“We have continued to maintain that manipulation of election results does not start and end on Election Day,” the Senate President was quoted as saying in the statement.
“It starts long before the day and goes on even after the declaration of results.”
He added, “That is why we have to continually be vigilant and once we identify any threat to free, fair and transparent conduct of a credible election like the INEC chairman has done, all stakeholders must put heads together to block the loopholes.”
Saraki who condemned the plot to purchase PVCs as alleged urged the INEC boss not to stop at raising the alarm.
He, however, asked Professor Yakubu to immediately devise a water-tight arrangement to make futile the efforts of such unscrupulous politicians.
The lawmakers decried that the development constitutes a major threat to the successful conduct of the 2019 Polls, as it can become the single factor to decide where victory swings in the election.
“All stakeholders must come up fast with a solution to render useless the antics of those who intend to procure voter’s cards,” he maintained.
“We all need to put our heads together and I am sure that such a stakeholders’ meeting will not only nip in the bud the looming danger, it will also engender general confidence in the system and create a system in which all stakeholders become problem solvers.”
Senator Saraki said that in the next six weeks, preceding the first set of elections and immediately after the elections, it was important for INEC to devise an arrangement in which it would constantly consult with stakeholders to identify issues affecting the process and how to find joint solutions to them.
I don't think it's possible to completely stop pvc buying, the parties would have to device means of safe guarding their strong holds as the pvc buying is often intended to weaken the voting strength of a rival party but INEC should ensure that on no account should the number of votes cast supercedes the number of registered voters in any polling unit, this may not be fool proof buy it will be a great improvement, the solution to the whole electoral problems is simply the complete computerization of the voting process.
For the first time since the scandal broke out, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday finally spoke on the alleged audio leak involving Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation describing it as lies sponsored by those bent on frustrating President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election.
The party also foreclosed the possibility of an investigation to verify the authenticity saying it believes the Minister did not utter the statements ascribed to him.
Speaking with Daily Independent, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the party’s National Publicity Secretary said the same persons behind the audio leak were also responsible for the falsehood that President Muhammadu Buhari has connections with a bank and telecoms companies.
He said they were also the ones peddling rumours that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the party slumped and was rushed to the hospital in Abuja.
“We are not investigating anything because we know the audio leak is fallacious. We know full well that Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation didn’t say anything like that. So, why should we investigate what doesn’t exist?”
“It is just in line with what they have been doing. Before Amaechi, they said the president has connections with some banks.
“After Amaechi, they said Asiwaju Bola Tinubu slumped and was rushed to hospital. That was their wishful thinking. Asiwaju is hale and hearty. He was present today at the meeting we had at the Banquet hall.
“They are so shameless that each day, they come up with fallacy and if that lie is exposed, they move on to another lie without even apologising for the one that has just been busted. So, there is nothing to investigate in the audio leak. It is all lies” he said. https://www.independent.ng/amaechi-audio-leak-a-lie-we-wont-investigate-it-apc/
Amaechi should watch his back,if unfortunately Apc/buhari wins the elections he will be back stabbed viciously, even if the reverse is the case he will still be dealt with mercilessly, which ever case that will eventually applies would be a good measure of retribution.
For this procedures to be really effective, the process should go on without break, because in the past when voters had to wait for accreditation to finish before voting commences, unscrupulous elements use to buy off or bribe off the accredited voters either not to vote so as to reduce the votes n chances of a particular party/candidate or get their thugs to use the accredited pvc to vote illegally, all these are forms of rigging so in other to prevent that n ensure transparency the voting procedures as enumerated by INEC should go through for every voter without breakage.
I totally agree with saraki, buhari has been using proxies to perpetrates corruption while presenting a false appearance of honesty n integrity,he did this in ptdf n now as the president.imagine buhari boasting that he wouldn't allow government money to be use for his campaign as if everyone is a zombie!,we already knew the imaginary recovered loot, the unknown recovered monies at various locations, the massive corruption in NNPC/so call under recovery etc were all for his campaign purpose in advance!,no one has heard anything concerning lawan Daura n the monies discovered in his custody again long after his removal as DSS boss likely the matter has been dealt with in house!,Dr kperogi was right after all when he said,no one supports buhari without been stupid.
Babygiwa: During the interview with Arise TV, Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari spoke on his endorsement by the APM guber candidate in Ogun state, Hon Akinlade and he said "I hope it is not for selfish reasons they adopted me"
He also spoke on Governor Amosun's picking candidates for the party and he condemned it totally saying it isn't right for one person to pick candidates for governorship, senatorial and other candidates.
It is public knowledge that Governor Amosun had tried to secure the guber ticket for Hon Akinlade and when Akinlade lost at the Primaries, he has decided not to support the Party's candidate, Dapo Abiodun.
Buhari is dangerous hypocrite, why didn't buhari told Amosun this when he brought the APM guy to him in Aso rock?,now he is forming useless fake integrity, well that's only for the Zombies as usual.

Of course you are an empty headed buhari cow,the only thing you reasons about is how to defend your demigod by whatever means even when it's clear that he is wrong.mumufied zombie!.
Bobby4090: A Senate president whose function includes to be a check on the executive should bring the facts to the house and don't forget they have powers to summon. If all that comes to his mind is just going to the press then its more or less an attempt to just smear the image of the executive, and not to bring them to justice.
Just listen to your hypocrisy!,is it not your type that has been abusing the NASS calling them corrupt but hailing buhari as Mr integrity?,you don't even see anything wrong when institutions of government with the support of the executive disregards the NASS now you are writing rubbish, buhari is corrupt but your type would rather blame others n exonerate buhari.
6Ebisco: Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra inspected the construction work on the second Niger Bridge and expressed satisfaction with the standard and pace of work.
The governor, who was visibly happy with the extent of work done so far, said he was confident that the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari would deliver on the job as scheduled.
He noted that the bridge, when completed, would not only boost the economic activities of the South-East and South-South but that of the whole country.
“I have no choice than to praise President Muhammadu Buhari for his determination in the implementation of other federal government projects in the state and other states in the region,” he said.
The Project Director, Julius Berger Construction Company, Mr Fredrick Wieser, explained that the construction would be in three phases.
Wieser noted that the federal government has already made advance payment of 15 per cent which amounted to N30 billion as mobilisation fee.
According to him, the bridge will be 1.6 km, while the access road from Asaba axis will be 3.3 km and 7km from Anambra respectively.
“Right now, we are doing foundation work in the river which will be 50 metres deep.
“The pilling work in the river will be 15 metres above water level to allow free flow of ships,’’ he said.
He, however, pointed out that with the determination of the present administration, the project would be delivered on or before Feb. 28, 2022. (NAN)
please people around the bridge site should confirm the pictures below n the true state of work on this bridge,in the write up it is stated that foundation on the river bed is what is been done but the attached pictures are showing an advance state of the bridge!,Apc n lies are 5&6,they can do anything to get their zombies agitated, any reasonable person that accept their claims without due diligence does so at his/her own peril.

'I'm about to ask you a very funny question now, you know Africans always say, if a man does not smoke, he will drink and if he doesn't drink, he will womanize, which of the 3 do you do?'
Atiku's honest response:
'I don't smoke, I don't drink, I have stopped womanizing'
The lady interviewing him bursts into uncontrollable laughter.
Interviewer: Would you describe yourself as a romantic person? You know your wives would know better, would you say that you have a bit of romance in you?

The spokesperson for the group, Yinka Odumakin, said the President should not use that as an excuse to avoid the Presidential debate, adding that it could spell doom for his re-election bid.
Buhari, while inaugurating the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja had said he was handing over the campaign to Tinubu so that governance would not suffer.
He said, “Even though we have only 40 days, this campaign is going to tax us all because we intend to touch all corners of our great and vast country. But I must also add that though we will all be deeply involved, I would like to assure the nation that I will do my part without making governance or my work suffer. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, my co-chairman, will be fully in charge and is going to be on 24-hour vigil.
“That is to say the operational buck of this campaign stops at his table, and I, therefore, urge all of us in the leadership of this campaign, in the field operations on the campaign trail and in the secretariat to consult with Asiwaju whenever guidance is needed.”
Odumakin, who spoke to our correspondent on the telephone on Monday, said the statement was deceitful.
He said, “I think the whole thing is just to make Tinubu feel good and think he is being reckoned with. But in any case, it is said that those who don’t learn from history will repeat it.
“This confirms that there are political forces that see some personalities at desperate times as people they can just toy with and once they dangle some carrots before them, there will be no problem.
“But if he tries to avoid the debate, it cannot work. Nigerians will not be wise to vote for anybody that is not ready to debate.”
Tinubu might be feeling cocky now with his dirty brown teeths thinking he is highly revered in Apc forgetting to learn from history, after all the jaki work he would be told the only leader of the party is the president n his position is ceremonial, infact he would be chase away from party caucus meetings because his position is unknown in the party hierarchy then the hawks will move in to finish him n share the booty laughing off cheekily leaving Tinubu with Lamentations, gnashing of his brown teeths n jeers.
Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s handover of the All Progressives Congress’ campaign to the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has asked the President not to use this as “an excuse” to be absent from the presidential debate.
The presidential debate is organised by the Nigeria Election Debate Group and is slated for January 19, 2019.
President Buhari had, on Monday, handed over his party’s campaign for next month’s elections to Tinubu, saying he did not want to lead the campaign because he did not want governance to suffer because of the elections.
Ordinarily, the President, who is the chairman of the APC Campaign Council, ought to lead his party’s campaign – supported by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Tinubu, who are both the council’s co-chairmen.
However, in an interview, the spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Mr. Segun Sowunmi, said it was sad that whereas other presidential candidates were busy campaigning and wanting to be questioned by the people, President Buhari was boycotting campaign because he had nothing to campaign for.
Sowunmi said the development also showed that the President did not have the rigour it takes to campaign and govern the country.
He said, “President Buhari has only attended one campaign, which was the one held in Uyo (Akwa Ibom State capital). He is pushing people ahead to campaign for him because his chickens have come home to roost.
“It proves what we’ve been trying to say before that Buhari doesn’t have the energy and rigour to campaign.
“If he is giving someone else the task of leading his campaign, he could have as well given his presidential ticket to someone who has the energy.
“He should not use this as an excuse to be absent from the presidential debate.
“Nigerians want someone they can question and someone who is willing to listen to them. So, he (Buhari) should take charge of his own campaign.”
Sowunmi said boycotting campaign was the same thing as boycotting governance, asking President Buhari to take up his responsibility.
“His excuse that he doesn’t want governance to suffer is not tenable. In the United States, United Kingdom, France and other great countries, campaign is part of governance because it is an avenue to interact with your people. Hence, Buhari should not hand over his campaign to someone else.
“In the first place, if he had organised the system to be running smoothly, he would not have given this excuse,” Sowunmi added.
I have never ever heard of it any where in the world where a candidate in a multi party elections hands over his elections campaign completely to some body else, besides this same Tinubu once rejected this offer why the u turn now,it is not all surprising that the APC supporters don't see anything wrong in what buhari is doing after all " nobody support buhari without sounding stupid".Dr kperogi.
Brizzy404: PREMIUM TIMES has obtained the third in a series of leaked audio recordings by Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s transport minister and the director general of President Mohammadu Buhari’s campaign team.
Mr Amaechi has been in the eye of a storm in the last 48 hours following the release of two earlier audio recordings where he expressed gloomy views about Nigeria and the administration of Mr Buhari.
In one of the recordings, which was shared with this newspaper by Phrank Shaibu, a spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar campaign, the minister was heard saying the president has failed to meet the expectations of Nigerians and that there was widespread suffering in the land.
Tolu Ogunlesi, a spokesperson of Mr Buhari, had dismissed the first leaked recording, saying Mr Amaechi was referring to immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan.
But after the release of the second audio, Mr Ogunlesi claimed the audio had been cleverly edited by a former aide of Mr Jonathan, Reno Omokri, to paint the minister and the current government in bad light.
However, on Monday evening, PREMIUM TIMES obtained another audio recording where the minister was heard badmouthing Lagos, the country’s commercial centre.
He described the nation’s former capital as a “glorified village”. The minister said the city lacked basic infrastructure compared to Abuja, the country’s capital. He added that the city has poor road network, no running water, and is infamous for vehicular traffic congestion.
“I live in Abuja, tell me where else we have infrastructure. Lagos is a glorified village. The only difference between Lagos and other cities is the fact that business is in Lagos, everybody is there doing business, so you can at least have food,” he said. “If not tell me what else you have in Lagos? 1,000 plus megawatts. That’s all. That’s what you have. What else do you have? No water, there are no roads. When you hear traffic jams in Lagos or any part of Nigeria, where are there no traffic jams in Abuja? The reason why you meet traffic jams in Lagos is because there are no roads,” the former governor of Rivers State added. Since 1999, when Nigeria returned to democratic rule, Lagos State has been exclusively governed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or parties, which formed the merger that birthed the APC.
Mr Amaechi’s comment is even made more ironical given the announcement earlier today by Mr Buhari’s announcement that a former governor of Lagos is in charge of his re-election campaign. Bola Tinubu is commonly seen as the man who decides whatever happens in Lagos. Mr Tinubu is to supervise Mr Amaechi as he co-chairs the campaign organisation with Mr. Buhari.
Apc will claim the tapes are doctored but at the initial point they claimed the tapes were recordings of 2014 n referring to Johnathan until subsequent tapes proved otherwise,I think it's better Apc n Pdp all submits their tapes versions for forensic analysis but I seriously suspect that it's Apc that has reedited her own tape in an attempt to control damage but it would appear that pdp has got lot of these recordings n so the only viable left for Apc is not to deny the tapes but to up the level of zombiesm in their supporters so that whatever is revealed will mean nothing to them n the rants of said baba can continue.
MediahelmNGR: The Minister of Transport, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, has called on Nigerians not to give one vote to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections.
Speaking during the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection campaign organisation on Monday in Abuja, Amaechi, who doubles as the Director-General of the council, vowed that the opposition party will not have peace.
He added that the APC will campaign for the presidential seat based on issues rather than on personality attacks.
Amaechi’s loyalty to President Buhari is in doubt after an audio recording was released by the opposition PDP in which he was saying Nigerians were hungry and poverty has been growing under Buhari’s government..
However, the minister assured Nigerians that the President’s next four years will be different from the 16 years of the PDP.
This Amaechi is such a shameless idiot, you were in pdp for almost all of her 16 years of her rule n did played a very prominent role but out of your greed you betrayed your own people, you will keep insulting those in pdp but the moment they cross over you would quickly embrace them shamelessly, you can keep on fooling yourself the northern hawks are watching you closely when they are done with you,you will very painfully realized your folly.
