The attention of members of the Women lnitiatve Advocacy,Social Justice And Empowerment group (WAISE)has been drawn to the news of the murder of Ms. Laetitia Naankang Dagan, an Assistant Director of Administration at the State House, Abuja. According to the information gathered, Ms. Dagan was murdered at her residence by individuals who are yet to be identified or apprehended by the Nigerian security agencies, though government officials have been quick to issue their usual assurances that the incident will be investigated and have apparently arrested a suspect as at today. The members of the group,WAISE is concern about the level of insecurity in the country under the present administration,which has long been a topical issue of concern for all well-meaning Nigerians. The fact that the assailants were able to gain entry to the apartment of a senior employee of the State House to commit this dastardly act begs belief. So the question WAISE members are asking is: What then is the hope of the ordinary Nigerian? Ms. Dagan’s gruesome murder highlights the dire need for the Federal Government to urgently address the issue of insecurity and accord it the priority which it deserves. WAISE members do not just want this to be a matter that will be concluded in a matter of weeks after some phony claims that some suspects have been arrested. Members of WAISE therefore demand that this be taken seriously and properly dealt with. It should be noted that she was killed on the eve of the 2nd year anniversary of the abduction of Leah Sharibu and the other released Dapchi school girls, an incident that has left many Nigerians sorely afraid to send their children to school or even travel outside their immediate community. Security is the major assignment of government before provision of social amenities. We must know that not dealing with this menace does not only threaten our sovereignty as a nation, but also our existence as a people. NoTire: A Brazilian national was detained in connection with the brutal murder of Nigerian DJ in his home in Şişli with a pig tie. The police are still working on catching the other suspect who fled.
The incident occurred on Saturday, February 8 at Şişli Mecidiyeköy Mahallesi Emek 1 Sokak Valide Konak Apartment. The landlord, who has been a tenant of Nigerian DJ Emmanuel İfeanyi Orwunnah (32), who has been living in the building for 2 years, had not heard from him for 3 days, and the real estate agent who had gone home came across the Nigerian DJ's pig-tied and tortured body. When the host, who learned the situation, informed the 112 emergency and police teams, many health and police teams were sent to the scene and it was confirmed that the DJ was killed. The police had started extensive work on the incident.
In the investigation conducted in the Nigerian DJ's house, the teams affiliated to the Public Security Branch Directorate of the Murder Bureau have seen that the gold necklace, game console, laptop, mobile phone and television in the Nigerian DJ's house are not in place. After examining the security camera images in the regions where the incident occurred, 2 people who came out of the house with television in their hands were detected late at night, which was considered to have been killed by the Nigerian DJ. Concentrating his work on these two suspects, the police caught up with one of the suspects, Brazilian citizen Jonathan Carvalho D. (28) in a residence in Esenyurt yesterday. It is learned that the other suspect of the incident, whose arrest is still ongoing, was Brazilian arrested Sandro Marcello Acıard, who had previously been arrested for drug trafficking, was later taken to an open prison and escaped from there.

Starting A Relationship: Before starting a relationship, it is expected of the man to determine his life's vision, as well as and his expectations from himself first and his would-be partner. He has to also determines physical and non physical features of his would-be partner in terms of beauty, physique, character, medical, ethnicity, faith, age, education, ideology, etc. Every man must determine his according to his heart desire and must not be coerced or bullied by societal or peers narratives to accept any standard other than his.

One important area that should not be overlooked is the subject of privacy. There is no privacy between a pair as long as relationship is concerned. Each should have unrestricted access to the other, including knowing passwords of phones; it is not a sign of insecurity contrary to what society would want to make one belief, it is simply a testament of oneness. As a man, any woman that doesn't believe in "No Privacy" relationship is most likely hiding something from you and should be a no-no.

Leadership: As a man, you can't flout rules and regulations and expect the woman to abide by it. It doesn't work that way! Leadership is by example, and men who aren't living exemplary lose every moral justification to address err by his woman or even his children.
Independent Mind: A man should have an independent mind that is not influenced by peers or societal narratives. He must realise that issues that concern relationship and home affairs are unique and he doesn't need popular opinion of relatives and strangers (on and off social media) before taking decision.
Openness To Ideas; Although a man is expected to possess independent mind, he is bound to open his mind to opinion and ideas of his woman on virtually all issues without having an impressionist mind. Though a man is the head and final authority, he is not omniscient. He may not even be the most knowledgeable between the pair. Even if he is the most knowledgeable, he may not be the most knowledgeable on the issue in question. Also, there is a wise saying that no idea is a waste, this applies to relationship. His final decision must be in the overall interest of the union irrespective of whether it comes from him or his wife.
NB: Without prejudice, a man must insist on decisions and actions that he is of a strong conviction that is of the benefit of the union/family even if his partner insists otherwise. But he should be prepared for the consequences should the action/decision yield unfavourable outcome.
Responsibility: A man must be first be responsible to himself and the woman in his life. A responsible man is one that knows his onion and live a life worthy of emulation. An irresponsible man cannot lead a woman not to talk of family.
Accountable: Although his woman is accountable to him in all things, the man is expected to first account to himself and the woman in his life. That way he shows a pathway for the woman to follow.
NB: A woman that is not prepared to be accountable to the man is a no-no irrespective of other factors.
Financial Stability: While no one expect a man to be very wealthy or live in affluence before meeting a woman, it is expected that he should at least have source of livelihood that to be able to cater for his needs and that of his partner/family. Any man that is yet to have good source of livelihood should suspend the idea of marriage altogether until he is ready. It is not a crime to be broke, but it is a sin for a grownup man without anything doing to be talking of relationship and marriage. The reason is simple, the woman is not meant to take care of financial any burden! It is the man's responsibility to cater for the woman and the home while the woman gives helping hand. I repeat, the woman is meant to give helping/supporting hand and not to inherit the main burden.
Chief Planner: The man in the relationship is chiefly responsible for making short and long term plans to ensure that his relationship and home doesn't suffer; and ensure that he sticks to it. This is very important as those who fail to plan end up losing it. Although a woman is expected to partner her man, it is still the man's responsibility to ensure things work as the Planner in Chief.
Physical/Mental/Emotional /Sexual Fitness: Every man should always take priority of physical, mental and sexual fitness. A man who is weak physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually is not appealing to a woman. In fact, no woman wants, deserves nor desires one who is physically weak, emotional wimp, mental retard and one who cannot perform sexually (not saying men should start using drugs). Men that fall short in these areas will have serious problem in their relationship/family. It is the duty of the man to work on his weaknesses!
Discipline: A man should discipline himself as by doing this he creates precedent for his partner and children to follow. No man should tolerate or forgive indiscipline in his home, not from himself, his woman/wife/girlfriend or children. Discipline is one of the way of expressing love.
Godfearing And Godly: All said, this is the most important. Any man that fears God will love and honor His Words, and will want to live godly life; and thereby be the best man any family would have. By this I don't mean outward religiosity (like many) or mere churchgoer, but for one to have reverence towards God Almighty and to follow His word.
Finally, marriage is not a bed of roses but it is a union ordained by God meant for human pleasure and not for humans to endure. But it is the duty of the man to seek and insist on woman that meets his desires and matches his expectations to have his dream home.

A lady from Orhobo forcefully made her way into my house after a casual make out we had in August 2018.
It all started from year 2018 where I met this lady in my former place of work, and we exchanged contacts. Though I didn't call initially, she called and somehow we started seeing as she will come to my house visiting sometime.
I wasn't into her that much, coz she isn't the spec I wanted.
Along the line, she stopped coming around and calls also stopped as I tried to have sex with her everytime she would come around. And she kept resisting that she wanted a relationship that will lead to marriage...i will decline and tell her that I can't just rush into marriage until we have understudied ourselves for sometime.
Then after she had gone for months, she suddenly came back after I had stopped working.
That fateful night was the night I ever regret having this lady in my life as I had gone for a town meeting in Alagbado while she called me I had told her that I went out on a town meeting, and I will not come back soon, except she will wait for me...very unbelievable to me that this lady was still waiting for me till almost ten pm when I would return. Because previously she had never stayed in my house up to such hour.
And shockingly when I attempted struggling with her as usual, later did I know that she didn't resist me anymore. I didn't know when I penetrated her coz I didn't believe I was going to be allowed. As a result, I had no plan of sexing her so I didn't wear my condom.
That was how your guy just went inn, and before I could notice it I was on climax. I managed to withdraw the sperm ultimately.
Fast-forward to the next date, she came in at night again.
That night I didn't know she planned sleeping in my house, unfortunately she called her brother that she will not be coming home anymore as she will be spending the night out. I became worried why would she want to sleep in my house without letting me know. Despite I was considering her to be decent.
That night I couldn't sleep and became afraid after I woke up and met her worrying after our second sex.( I went into her again that night). This time I wore a condom, and she pulled it off when she noticed. As I was sexy, I had to go in unprotected counting on my withdrawal method.
I asked her why was she bothered and not sleeping, she said I just had my way after she hasn't let anyone in for years anymore, and I will just have my way and dump her? I told her I'm not dumping her that if it's God's plan we will be married. She said she is tired of jumping on men up and down. Mind you, when she noticed I didn't cum into her, she was more pained.
Then after like 3 weeks or more she started calling me telling me she hasn't seen her period ever since. But I didn't believe and disagreed until I was advised to take her on a test since I don't believe she would be preggy. I didn't like the idea much coz this lady came to my house like three times fighting me to come take her to the hospital to remove it if I wouldn't let her in my house or accept. I was surprised as she kept insisting termination...it sounded like a fraud to me more. I asked myself and one of my neighbors "which right thinking human would take-in and would be demanding abortion?" I ignored her the more after we had a quack nurse ran a test which came negative and advised we come back fortnights.
She went somewhere else and had it positive. After I saw the result I still doubted it was planned to reap me off because she demanded I settle her financially to abort her unborn child.
Then she finally came back after we had a fight in my house which led to her biting me on my arm, I couldn't do anything anymore as I became tired so I let her be in my house.
A neighbor advised we run a urine test ourselves, which we did and it came positive over the night. Was surprised and baffled. I started weighing the option of abortion as the attitude she displayed to me earlier is a sign she could be terrible, and troublesome . It took me a week to finally decide to have the abortion by which the foetus was already 6 weeks old.
I was shocked again when this lady that was the one yelling for abortion outrightly declined that I will have her killed.
That was when it dawned on me I had being married against my wish.
Currently she is in my house with the child. And we had fought more than three times since she put to bed. The last one resulted in bloodshed.
Because of the nature of her personality, I'm finding it difficult leaving with her. She's too violent, arrogant and hot-tempered.
She was diagnosed of hepatitis b, and luckily for me I was free. Because of that the baby feeds on infant milk which has made me to be buying the milk weekly now.
She nagged at me for hours and insulted hell outta me for telling her she didn't inform me the milk finished....she intended fighting again last night and warned me I should try what happened last time that led to her blood spilling and see what she would do to me.
In fact I have tolerated enough from her. I'm planning on running a DNA test to ascertain the paternity and move on or we settle in court coz she's frustrated big time and wants to pass it to me since I have being telling her I can't marry her.
So I brought it here for you guys to advise on what to do to avoid imminent tragedy lurking.
It took the grace of God that I controlled myself. It would had resulted to something bad just because I have a bad woman under my nose forcefully.
*NB* She works and earn a penny salary, while I hustle on the streets and earn for the home upkeep, and foot all bills.
I don't know why she a heavy churched person like her has such bad attitude without repentance. Her actions are without the iota of the gospel.
