What is the Coco MCR smart card?

The Coco MCR is an unofficial smart card similar to the Abracadabra smart card. The only difference is that the Coco MCR works on more receivers provided that they have an embedded CAM preferably an IRDETO CAM, while the Abracadabra only works with certain receivers like the Echolink and its clones.
Here is a list of channels that this card opens, however, please notice that there are always changes and some channels might be working or not at any given time.

New Satellite Atlantic Bird 7 at 7W

Satellite operator Eutelsat Communications for the company Astrium has ordered the delivery of a new telecommunications satellite Atlantic Bird 7 for the operation of the orbital position 7 degrees west. iro the patch issue,what u need to know is this .make sure u have an original stb.as long as ur stb is original ,u dont have to be afraid.u should always make sure u have the right patch or u have a complete download.make sure light does not fluctuate and make sure the patch is from a trusted site.i have confirmed the use of patches with stb from an official of strong technologies from their website.he confirmed that the only way to update ur stb is through patch.and thats why u see that it comes in .stb format.which is the only format recognised by the stb for upgrade.

when ur stb gets fried ,it is as a result of corrupted files installed into ur stb,and u know stb do not have an anti virus in it.when it is taken for repairs ,it is usually flushed completely for new software to be loaded into it.we can chat online for better discussion.

just get ur sat back into position and u will see that the patch is very ok.i still installed it into a friends receiver last night.and if u have a 4661x or4663x u can install this version-1.26p it is still very active for both aljazeera sports and mytv africa.

The latest update i got can only open showtime. it could not open art package. it said 'simulation error' when i pressed the info button on art prime sport channel. I was almost stranded yesterday for Manu Vs Arsenal but
thank God for ETV which saved the day. i'm still checking the forums whether there will be a follow up which
corrects the earlier released one.
Any idea?

I ll advice u dont use mytv patch on 4650 or 4652 cos u might lose ur receiver after some weeks.

i have patched my own 4650 more than 10 times.i even patched it yesterday night and it has been working fine.though it has been long i bought it.just immidiately when model X was no longer much available in the market

there is patch for 4650 strong receiver,but the issue is that u will need a crossed cable(RS232) and also a strong loader before u can make it

happen again with ur receiver.or u get someone who has a working 4650 with the patch inside then u now do a transfer of firmware from receiver

to receiver by pressing the power botton and the channel up botton infront of the receiver with the active patch then u now turn on the receiver u

want to patch and both receiver connected together with RS232 cable too.

@ all using echolink receiver,to update ur jsp sports.just do this

1.send the latest firmware 22.04.2009 for showtime after that wait a few minutes for updating smart card with reciever.
2.insert smart card from reciever.
3.send the firmware 23.03.2009 for JSC + now all jsc Sport+ working fine with all pakage (Showtime & Art ).

strong receivers cannot open showtime channels at present.for u to watch encrypted channels on nile sat u will need to get a receiver that works

with abracadabra card.that is either starsat receiver or echolink receiver, as the two mentioned receivers are the ones u can find around in the market.

but i will advise u go for echolink 3020ir plus.

for u to manually input keys into strong receiver,all u will do is to press 8282 on ur remote control,then it will take u to the keys menu then u will

see different providers encryption system like irdeto, viacess, nargravision, seca etc.select the provider and the id and input the keys.

but u can watch aljazeera sports +1,+2,+3,+4 on nilesat by using the required software also known as patch on strong

4650,4651x,4653x,4661x and 4663x.i will keep u posted for any update sha!!!!

over this weekend i did an installation of nilesat and i discovered this new tps on nilesat that are now active .they are on ab4 wide beam b4 but it seems all wide beam channels have now been moved to nilesat 101 and 102.others should pls confirm.
u can use these tps

10.775 H 60-62% signal quality

10.795 V 56-58% signal quality

10.930 H 62-64% signal quality(espn, espn classic but are encrypted under art bonquet)

10.889 H use SR 27.490 for this tp

10.716 V use SR 27.490 for this tp

10.910 V use SR 27.500(euronews and so many other channels)

10.755 V use SR 27.490 for this tp.

some one should pls confirm form another location.i got all this in the north(kano state)

if u are using echolink to confirm just do an auto scan it brings out every thing automatically.

but u will have to do a manual scan on strong especially those tps with a differnt SR rate i.e (27490).u can as well do an auto scan,some will pop out then now do a manual scan for others.

nilesat signal levels are still very much ok in the north here.
as at late last nite on strong 4653x with digisat lnb mbc channels and fox channels are at 70% signal strenght,cnn, mtv arabia are at 60-62%,france 24 is at 74%,show series ,show movies show sports are at 62%art sports ,starmovies, starworld are at 68%,bbc world at 72%.nat geo wild,animal planet are at 62%.but i belive with time there will be an improvement in all locations in terms of thi signal strenght.

alpha,eta,zeta,epsilon,beta are all categories of receivers that works with the abracadabra card.so the kind of receiver u use determines the category u belong to.so u need to study where ur receiver falls.for echolink 3020 ir plus that i use and which is most common,it falls under BETA which is ALI3329c.check below to see where u belong.

the drop in nilesat signal level is a general issue irrespective of the location u are if u are very observant with ur signal levels.even in the north here there has been a reduction in signal strenght,but it is much more pronounced if u are using low quality lnb like pauxis.but if u are using good one's like fuji,digisat or even strong which is better than pauxis all ur channels will still be very ok without skipping throughout the day and night as well.
i think all this is as a result of the rainy season approaching more and more and it will go back normal with time.
