He should contest for the Presidency to achieve all he's talking about. Crouching behind Atiku will lead us nowhere. It's amazing that we're yet to have a serious and worthy contender from the South East. Waiting for Moghalu et al. |
Both the "slapper" and "slapee" are wrong. That's indecent assault of an attacker with an uncouth mouth. They didn't show themselves as classy ladies in any way. |
No sense of dignity, no shame! Sometimes I wonder how much worse the future generation can be then I pray and hope that there'll be a drastic positive change soon. |
OkohIs:Abi. Same people who are protesting against Fulani invasion and RUGA. Taking over another man's territory by force just ain't right. |
GboyegaD:Compro! A very good school built by the Ford Foundation for the Western Region then. The school site was bigger than many University campuses today with good infrastructure. Some Americans taught there in the late 60s to early 70s. Sadly, it seems to have fallen apart over time due to negligence and policy changes by OGSG and maybe FG. |
Great news at that time! The years when integrity mattered a lot. Nigeria has changed so much. |
Hmmm! |
We thank God for the good news. |
Congratulations to her. A brighter future ahead for her by God's grace. |
Hope the the bird is still alive. Any bird seen with a tracker should be taken to a research institute or at least a University campus where knowledgeable people can make enquiries about it. Illiteracy is a disease indeed. ![]() |
Thank God! |
Cultism and drugs are destroying our youth. They need to be urgently reoriented and properly rehabilitated if necessary. The future leaders are busy ruining their lives. Very sad turn of events for our nation. |
dataking:Of course, it's safer for women since they're mostly indoors. If they're more visible as in other places, the situation will change. BTW, how about the stories of sex slaves and maids who are treated like slaves? We've heard many such tales from African ladies who were trafficked to the Middle East. |
Zulu2022:None. Too old to learn and practise that now but I've seen and read about a lot of young guys and ladies who have made it big in IT and related fields. There are also other things people do to earn big legitimately. Key into opportunities sometimes enunciated on this platform. There are many people here who may be of help if they know you're serious in your quest for knowledge. I've read about people who got jobs and links here. Visit the relevant sites often. Pray for guidance and learn with an open mind. |

Zulu2022:I see your point but the dark path leads to more pain eventually. I sincerely pray that God opens doors of favor unto you in a righteous way. May you prosper and glorify His name in due season. Amen Getting a loan for cryptocurrency business may not be easy because it's very risky. The ability to pay back in case things don't work out well is the guiding factor for financial institutions. There are other businesses that you can engage in with far less money. The problem is that most people now don't want to start small and grow. Everyone wants to hit it big within a very short time. The reality is that it took many years to build the empires some legit businessmen have today. |
Well done Tayo. Your videos provide so much positive information about Nigeria and Africa. |
An eye opener! May God open the eyes of our youth to legitimate profitable ventures. For instance, there's so much room in the tech space to build on. |
Okin was so yummy! I wonder if we could have it back. Malted milk biscuits too. Cabin aka pako biscuit was good for the dry days in the boarding house. Soaked in milk or with a coat of butter, it had a different feel. ![]() |
@Op Hope you're now in Ibadan. |
OnyeOgboni:Union Homes number? |
OnyeOgboni:Number for Union Homes? |
Thanks for this detailed information. I've learnt so much from this. My mum had an investment with Union Homes due to her undying love for Union Bank (old school tinz ) and based on the advice of her accounts officer. Unfortunately, by the time I became aware of the problems she had while trying to withdraw part of her funds, ASO had taken over. All efforts to recover the deposit has proved abortive though they never denied that she has an account with them. It was always stories of how they're planning to revive the place. A visit to their Ikorodu road office at Onipanu tells a different story. |
In a State where the governor has $150m chilling somewhere. The bandits want to hit it big too. I really empathize with our people. Suffering so much for the sins of the elites. May the Lord deliver us from this evil. |
Sad to see our people falling apart due to tribal and religious influences. I'm happy to have grown up at a time when neither tribe nor religion mattered in our relationships. Many Community Grammar Schools of that era were jointly built by Muslims, Christians and other faiths. Although some were supported by Christian missionaries especially with regards to teaching and administration, no faith can rightly claim those schools. The missionary schools were distinct as they were named after the Churches in the environment. Muslim schools also bore names associated with their faith. It is therefore easy to determine who owned what. A Community school can not be handed over to a Muslim or Christian organisation. By the way, Lagos State was able to do this years ago without any issues. Even private schools of the past were returned to willing owners. LASG went ahead to improve on public schools so that all could have equal access to good education. |
Just wondering why this evil is allowed to stand. People are dying needlessly. |
So you want to see yourself as the Almighty saviour. Better keep away from her to avoid stories that touch.... Don't get your life ruined. Look for your own wife and live your life in peace. If she needs help getting pregnant, she should consult doctors. Donors are available through legitimate medical practice if that's truly what her husband wants. |
Perhsps he's meant to serve God in a different way. He needs a job. Depending on the Church as a business is wrong. He should seek the face of the Lord to know what he should do to succeed instead of focusing on what is not the chosen path for him. Only those truly called will prosper (not necessarily financially) as they serve. |
Shalommy:I don't see why her father's responsibility should be transferred to her husband for whatever reason. Someone from her father's family should pay. Anyway, cultures differ. |
Cheerful, free spirited guy! Bride is so shy. Wishing them a happy married life. |
Mental issues maybe. |
