Jackie Chan was about 55 years when he acted in that movie so the stunts were very unbelievable especially the part where Jackie killed more than 100 soldiers with their corpses piled together and he was standing at the top and still fighting. Guy am waiting for that link so i can get to watch free movies and thanks people for your comments. Still waiting for more. Spartans for life |
can anyone tell me the website of HITV and also tell me where i can get their services in Ondo State |
Guys i would very much love to ask you, what can we do to move this country forward? do we need a revolution in nigeria just like the french and americans? |
i am disappointed in those of you who are degrading yourselves. where is your pride? where is your dignity? nowhere because you have got none. yes, your cases are hopeless, the us which you are shouting and praising got to where they are after more than 200 years and they all went through the same process we are going through. oh yes they went through these processes and britain's case is pathethic. they hanged and sold as slaves the poor of the socie ty so dont be all up and shouting degrading abuses to your country or better still your motherland, i accept that most of the things our leaders do are rubbish but that doesnt mean we should curse nigeria. I ask why is it that the only thing which unite you nigerians is football hum? why? why cant you join hands together and move this nation so we can live here in harmony. remember the national anthem and the pledge. you pledge to take ur country to greater heights. fulfil that promise and leave the jack assed white fool americans to their goddamned country |
pay me for being a nigerian and enduring all sorts of humiliating insults from stupid, useless and "bastardised" countries |
well the yoruba called themselves omo odua of course |
Meanwhile, the Action Congress presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Friday filed contempt proceedings against the chairman of the Independent National Electoral commission, Prof. Maurice Iwu, and the agency’s Head, Legal Service, Osaze Uzzi. A two-page statement issued by the Atiku Campaign Organisation said the “Notice of Consequence of Disobedience to Order of Court” otherwise known as Form 48 was served on Iwu and Uzzi, “following their refusal to obey the direction contained in an order of the Federal High Court, Abuja, to the effect that INEC does not have the power to disqualify candidates for the 2007 elections.” source:http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2007031014311914 Also stated: Also the AC on Friday raised the alarm that the Peoples Democratic Party and INEC were pressurising the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company to omit Abubakar’s name and photograph from the ballot papers to be used for the poll. INEC awarded the contract for the printing of the ballot papers for the April elections to the NSPMC. Addressing journalists in Abuja, the AC’s National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, said the PDP and INEC had in the last two days being pressurising the printing company not to put Abubakar on the ballot papers. He said the NSPMC contacted the AC few days after it won the contract asking the party to supply it with Abubakar’s photograph as well as those of the governorship candidates of the party. Akande said information available to the party had shown that PDP and INEC officials had two days ago asked the company to leave the vice-president’s photograph and the AC’s symbol out of the ballot papers it was printing. Asked to provide evidence of the allegation, he said, “We are a political party and we have a way of getting information. We know what we are talking about.” An apparently angry Akande vowed that, “any ballot paper printed without our party symbol will not be valid. It will be easy to nullify any election for which it is used. The election will not be credible and any compromised election will not hold in this country.” On the former Anambra State Governor, Chief Chris Ngige, and other candidates of the AC disqualified by INEC, Akande said his party would return to the drawing board and thereafter react appropriately to the development. When asked whether the vice-president’s name was on the ballot papers, INEC’s commissioner in charge of Publicity, Mohammed Jumare, said on the telephone, “Can’t they (AC) wait for the time we are going to release the names? Why are they speculating?” ![]() |

thats more like it, but whats your opinion about troy? i mean it was a hit wasnt it so is 300 going to be a bigger hit? |
you mean you watched it in the cinema house? tell me how was it generally? |
The movie "300" is almost the sequel to "Troy" but will it be a big hit as "Troy"? It was released today. Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" concerns the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world's first democracy. In the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC an alliance of Greek city-states fought the invading Persian army in the mountain pass of Thermopylae. Vastly outnumbered, the Greeks held back the enemy in one of the most famous last stands of history. Persian King Xerxes lead a Army of well over 100,000 (Persian king Xerxes before war has about 170,000 army) men to Greece and was confronted by 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians and other Slave soldiers. Xerxes waited for 10 days for King Leonidas to surrender or withdraw left with no options he moved. The battle lasted for about 3 days and after which all 300 Spartans were killed. The Spartan defeat was not the one expected as a local shepherd named Ephialtes defected to the Persians and informed Xerxes of a separate path through Thermopylae, which the Persians could use to outflank the Greeks. In 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes sends his massive army to conquer Greece. The Greek city of Sparta houses its finest warriors, and 300 of these soldiers are chosen to meet the Persians at Thermopylae, engaging the soldiers in a narrow canyon where they cannot take full advantage of their numbers. The battle is a suicide mission, meant to buy time for the rest of the Greek forces to prepare for the invasion. However, that doesn't stop the Spartans from throwing their hearts into the fray, determined to take as many Persians as possible with them. Whats your opinion? razoor, why should you say that it is not in the news.all you have to do is check their site www.efccnigeria.org and why should it even be in the news when there are bigger news about the two warlords in aso rock? |
those of you against ribadu, if you were in his shoes, would you have produced far reaching results like he has? International Nigerians are regarded as fraudsters and i don't blame them cos its in the Nigerian blood to be fraudsters, or thieves, cos since we were born, it has been in our blood. Right from the hierarchy has there been corruption and in investigating obasanjo i would advice you not to count your eggs before they hatch, we don't know what is going to happen in the future.Let he or she who hasn't stolen meat from his mum's pot when a kid should cast the first stone. I commend Ribadu for his good Job and i say more grease to his elbow. Carry on Jo |
well it seems you fellas aint heard of "We Were Soldiers" to me that is definitely the best of the best , Chronicle of Narnia and LOTR and locally Madam Dearest |
i would love and very much love to point out the fact that wherevere you go you hear about nollywood, i mean we really have to give it to these guys, out of nothing they have sprouted out a money spinning industry which the government is yet to tap, but still we dont have to compare them with south africans movie industry cos these guys have the resourcxes while their nigerian counterparts have to make do with outdated machineries, |
