main issue remains the buggy hotspot connection. happens when i use a VPN on my PC.... requires a phone restart to come back on

how is the battery life on 10.2?

WHEW...i just downloaded 1.07GB of data using my Z10 as the hotspot....

that reminds me....i prefer to use heart-rendering names for my hotspot so you dont try to guess the passwords when am in public places. my current profile name is "test virus mastercard hack"

My Q5 finally went flat for the 1st tym last nyt, plugged it in n it took very loooong b4 it came on again, so guess its not advisable to allow the BB10 fones run completely flat(my 1st advice on this thread) Big fone matured wahala Buh so far its been great, lyk it came with a "chick magnet" app pre-installed

i love the chick magnet app on BB10 devices.... if you want a more effective result, go for the white devices

If u ain't into upgrading from leaks dsnt mean u should discourage others. Dev/beta os has the pin of the device watermarked on the screen of that device. I am a beta tester for BlackBerry but I've NEVER tested a Dev os because it's not safe considering my device is STL100-1 (not saying I wld have given it a shot if I had an STL 2/3/4 tho)

Plz get your facts right before criticizing the best thing that ever happened to bb10 (for now)

the last version is relatively stable but remember, it is well documented that some users got their phones bricked whilst trying to update. is it too much to warn potential downloaders?

as a 'beta tester', you should be able to differentiate between a 'release version' and a 'leak'.

this is a release version.

yes it is very stable and has no PIN watermarks but cauton should not be thrown away when installing such.

there has been reports of softbricking and is it wrong for me to call our attention to it?

dont forget that the 10.2.XXXX is not a leaked version but one still in real dev...not for the everyday phone user. issues of softbricking have been reported. caveat emptor....only for the brave

my wifi has been the problem....always too slow.

is there any hotspot (possibly free within ikeja that i can get super blazing ferrari-type download speeds that can enable me get at least one gig in a breeze.

Life is sweeter here data wise.

I am currently on 3gb for N2,800 and i even heard there is now a 6 or 7gb bis data plan for N3,000 (the unlimited bis sub for 3 months)

was updating yesterday....had an issue with the wifi and the update restarted.....the thing went up from 166MB to 840MB....

hope the update shows remarkable improvements? i amcurrently on 87%.....

When you switch it on and it tells you to insert a sim or connect to wifi, there should be an option to skip connecting to the Internet

i had the same issue when i got my z10....the twerp at Etisalat said i bought a locked phone...the problem actually is that BB10 requires proper internet activation and i wasnt properly configured....i had to use a strong hotspot in computer village to activate the damn phone

currently updating to 10.1.0.4181 powered by airtel sim and globacom hotspot

(implies i am using the internet bundle on my glo phone whilst update came via my micro airtel sim in my Z10)

When I search for updates, it shows me the 10.1. but tells me that the update is too large to be downloaded over my network, that I should connect to wifi (its about 300mb). Please I need to know how to go around this problem cuz I have no wifi around me.

Two options...visit any place with stable and fast hot spot access
Second, find a phone with mobile hotspot and connect your BlackBerry 10 device to this.....

They should not charge for cutting sims. I got mine cut at airtel free of charge...

No noticeable change though

the rate you quoted above is way too high.

the business is currently in full swing in NIgeria and it can work.

some factors to consider are:
the segment market
the repayment period
the security offered
what to do in case of default.
