Why choose dark colors? Police cars should have clear inscriptions and not dark backgrounds. Apart from the vehicle structure, what other component is inside that could aid their work? Radios, cameras etc |
Hello BlackBerry 10 guys. On airtel, to get 3gb of data, send BCM3 to 440. It costs N2,800 and is valid for 3 months. Remember it is BCM3 |
Why are they looking all rusty? |
redcliff: see, let me tell you a secret for free. Our main one cable can have that capacity. Dyu think these network providers dont know what they are doing by capping our bandwidth speed? Even in Nigeria here, i have seen a 2Gb video upload in 14mins, is that one miracle or magic? it was our very own main one. They network providers make more money when the internet is slower. take it or leave it.your analysis lacks a solid backing. if i have an ability to download 1GB in ten minutes, do u think i will consume less data than my current 20MB in ten minutes capacity? how then will the network providers make more money from selling less data? how? |
Reference: Yes, if I am made to eat roaches in burgers I keep quiet and seek redress while others continue to eat roaches. Who is more important, the customers or the business. They are lucky, if it was in civilised societies na lawyer go contact them with class action thoughtless of naming and shaming.Pal,please don't get me wrong. Am not implying a cover-up. The first line of action is to make an official complaint to the offender and it's only when they can't profer proper redress that you escalate. The horse meat stuff had more national and greater consequences than a random fake note. An active atm can have up to n10 worth of payments daily. Fake note probability can't be more than one in 500m worth of withdrawals. Even if you have only one fake note per day. People would have tagged the machine. We all have faint ideas of atms that pay mints, atms that have long queues, atms that are almost never up, etc....if the atm had frequent fake notes, people would have tagged. |
remember the onemilliondollar webpage? |
metmartins: Can we have the name of the Bank ATM machine, so that we would expose them. If you guys are sincere about this whole fake money, than let have the name of the bank, so that everyone can avoid them, by so doin they would put their house in check.so if someone comes online now and claims that he used XYZ bank ATM on saturday and he got N20,000.00 in fake notes. does it mean it is true? even if he has the fake notes physically, how can you prove that it was received from the machine? if you have a private business where you sell cooked food, will it be really nice if someone comes on nairaland and claims he saw rodents in the food you served? dont you think the best approach is for the offended party to first seek redress with the offending establishment? dont you think a formal approach to conflict resolution shows that we are different from other lower animals? |
it does not seem so logical that ATM custodians in banks will now stoop so low to add pre-fabricated fake currencies into cash stacks. how many notes will be added frequently? how will they source the fake notes for this purpose? every ATM is loaded by 2 bank staff...the cash custodian and the operations head....both guys are always experienced staff with long years of service. rookies are not placed in such core areas. it does not sound logical that these two guys will now go through this murky fraud to gain an average of N10,000.00 (ten thousand naira) just to load fake notes on their own machines..... whilst it is possible for fake notes to be in the system, the probability of it being loaded consciously by bankers on teller machines is very low. these reports are sensational in nature. it is easy for a non banker to associate with the info...(Same thought process that occurs when we accuse civil servants of corruption) but i know certainly that the probability of staff members deliberately loading ATMs with fake notes is way tooo low |
So why do you guys call GEJ clueless with all these responses? |
otumfour: U ARE A FOOOOOL, a big 1 @ thatyou seem hurt. i dont trade abuses. facts speak for themselves. you can decide to see the truth and still remain obstinate. sane people will read our posts and pick out facts from mere slanders have a nice weekend micro-sim |
lafflaff123: Guy no ANIMAL inside the food? even dry swimmy swimmy(fish) no dey? lol.it's the Aji no moto that makes them purge... ![]() |
cytell Property: How can you equate Concoction with Jollof RiceJ = C + 2X WHERE J = Jollof Rice C = COncoction X = Assorted Ingredients that add Premium Taste To get C, subtract 2X from both sides J - 2X = C + 2X - 2X C = J - 2X this implies that concoction is simply jollof rice without premium ingredients. QED |
Ironi: You are right, but long before the Appiah and Mensahs roamed as Cobblers in Nigeria, Nigerians have already roamed as Cobblers in Ghana. Maybe you were not born so go ask your father.your comments deserve no response. you are simply exhibiting inborn traits. |
otumfour: omo, make u no try Ghana ooooo, we'r we are getting our shixt togetherYour 'shixt' is definitely micro sized...just like a one-inch 'punnany' Ever seen these figures before? 2009 GDP for Nigeria was 336.2bn USD while for Ghana was 34.5bn USD. GDP per capita for Nigeria was $2,300 while Ghana had $1,500 on 2009. Unemployment rate for nigeria was 4.9% while Ghana had 11% Exports from Nigeria was $76bn while Ghana had a whopping $5bn. Source: CIA world fact book. Year 2009. |
otumfour: Well, Appiah and Mensah dun went back to their country and made it a better place, now guess whose cobbling on their streets, u guessed rytHow better can it get? Only Lagos has an economy that's at par with the whole of Ghana Yes we have our gross imperfections and little skirmishes but your Midget Ghana isn't left out in the party. Got this link from the dry looking ghanaweb page.... http://mobile.ghanaweb.com/wap/article.php?ID=273555 This thread is about a wonderful jollof rice. If you still have problems controlling your hate, please deport yourself from here....ask the appiahs and Mensah where they got their GMG bags....GMG stands for Ghana - must - go. |
otumfour:Boy, You don't come on a Nigerian platform to spew rubbish. Going by the chart you placed herein, it's evident that the absolute population of Nigerians living in non slum areas is even greater than the whole of Ghana combined. Seems you have forgotten so soon that so many Appiah and Mensahs were cobblers on those Nigerian streets before the great Ghana-must-go exodus... We are here celebrating our nairalander who had the guts to post evidence of his culinary skills online...let's see how you cook that beer-tasting corn mash your 'urban' people devoured with raw pepper when they roamed lagos' streets. |
sanniemoe: Arindin ni the mango yi sha... ur jokes r so dry... o gbe ganOut of the abundance of the heart does a man speak... |
Zi: Not funnyIt's about your perception... a glass of water can either be half full or half empty |
Whats ur spouse -shoe size? 80 -height? sixteen feet -Best sleeping position? digs a trench the size of lake chad and slumps therein -best colour? rainbow -first bathing step? kills an elephant, drains the blood into a tub and downs it all at once -parents/peers pet/guy name? shrek/anaconda/GEJ -most used phrase? five thousand apples a day, keeps the doctor away - best song? sanda-lily sanda-lily -worst habit? drinks directly from the lagoon squatting on third mainland bridge -ideology of life? an eye for an eye is not a good return on investment *pun intended* |

walcolm: i asked if anybody has been able to get the Etisalat Absolute and complete plans to work on the Z10....but didnt get any answernot tried et...rocking my 1gb on airtel for N1,400 |
walcolm: Breaking newsYea...And requires 500 mb downloading |
you can sideload q10 skype if you want
This side loading thingy....i seem not to understand it....i really want to side load stuffs... |
Big news BlackBerry 10 owners...the normal blackberry complete package for BIS works with the Z10. I have suffered in silence by using the unnecessarily expensive BlackBerry 10 packages (3,000 for 1GB). Now I have the same 1GB for a miserly 1,400 on Airtel. Just subscribe and restart phone..... The BlackBerry 10 packages are a rip off.... flow with the normal BIS.. CAVEAT EMPTOR: i have only tried this on Airtel. |
walcolm: there's an app in BBW called Faceflow...it's a video chat app for BB10 and will be available on other platforms and the PC via a browser.I have faceflow but I don't have buddies on faceflow...mi still want my Skype though Good news is Skype is available on Q10 and will be on Z10 once 10.1 becomes available |
Also in attendance at the session will be Bob Marley, Elvis, Pa Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa and Nnamdi Akikwe...This is to show solidarity for Mother Theresa who is expected to attend despite her tight schedule |
Eze Promoe: Have you seen any brand in Nigeria commercials dissing the other brand to gain customers? MTN did it first. Maybe that's how it's done in South Africa, but again this is Nigeria. I'll repeat this again. Saka is a bloody betrayer! You are right. Brands don't diss in Nigeria....another first from MTN |
asids55: how many times you commot your batteryFor your info, I have been using my Z10 since early March and I have not removed the battery except when I changed sim from Etisalat to Airtel. BlackBerry 10 is extremely stable. |
Another creepy issue is that in BB10 plans, the adverts takes unlimited BBM. In reality, after you exhaust your data cap, BBM stops working |
So many analysts here focus on sentiments rather than factual observations. The old OS on BlackBerry was outdated. This threatened RIM's existence. BB10 was designed to correct the basic flaws on existing black berries. BlackBerry 10 is a brand new OS with no hang over to the old system. It was built from the ground up. Z10 (which runs on the BB10 platform) has the ability to match the average high end phone in the market. Reviews (even from critics) have been commendable. The only limitation (as with every brand new OS) is the relatively 'small' app market and little bugs that are being corrected with OTA updates...now what do you need 2 million apps for? Multitasking, video chat via bbm, HF gaming, high end apps, voice clarity (including HD audio) , BBM chat, best touch keyboard etc are features you will find on the new z10. how can you ridicule something you have not used or upgraded your knowledge about. Same way Comparing techno to Z10? ww.notjustok.dazall |
