banki: I didnt know he was a convict, please tell me where he was convicted? I also did not know that the former chief accountant of Mobil nigeria forged his certificate, please tell me.........i seriously wonder oo! . is it not a shame that some people somehow are trying to justify the fact that we have crooks in govt just because they believe a "strong man" in the opposition is corrupt too. warped line of reasoning i must say. ![]() |

Lagos State was created on May 27, 1967 by virtue of State (Creation and Transitional Provisions) Decree No. 14 of 1967, which restructured Nigeria’s Federation into 12 states. Prior to this, Lagos Municipality had been administered by the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Lagos Affairs as the regional authority, while the Lagos City Council (LCC) governed the City of Lagos. Equally, the metropolitan areas (Colony Province) of Ikeja, Agege, Mushin, Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry were administered by the Western Region. The State took off as an administrative entity on April 11, 1968 with Lagos Island serving the dual role of being the State and Federal Capital. However, with the creation of the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja in 1976, Lagos Island ceased to be the capital of the State which was moved to Ikeja. Equally, with the formal relocation of the seat of the Federal Government to Abuja on 12 December 1991, Lagos Island ceased to be Nigeria’s political capital. Nevertheless, Lagos remains the center of commerce for the country. It unfortunate that we hv people who try to rewrite history. It was just a fraction of lagos state that was controled by the FG. Western region built lots and where taken over by the FG. D'Vanguard God bless you. ![]() |
shymexx: That's a strong black woman and a go-getter - and she isn't a feminist..... On point bro, rare kind among the female folk. Without as much wealth, she'd still be a gem. No fake attitude. I respect that. |
iykak47: A real lady does not run her mouth like a burst pipe.. On point joor. All we'll now be hearing is "a real man dosen't do this, dosen't do that..." Respect is reciprocal |
navygrl: This is one of the reasons I divorced my exhusband. He admitted to me that he gangraped 4 girls for refusing to have sex with him or a friend and saw nothing wrong with it. Said they were punishing the girls. As a rape survivor myself I cannot allow such a person to be near my children.. Good. You shouldn't have married him in the first place though. ![]() |

tayooluwole: how i wish i am d judge...i will just direct that his manhood should be cut off nd hang in a liberary for reference purpose... D colonel deserve severe purnishment.... Wonder what kind of justice would be obtainable in Ɣ☺ΰя court. You make Ɣ☺ΰя own judgment based on one person's story ex parte, without hearing the accused person's side of it. |
Wizee: One week is far. She dey agree dat same mins i say helo!!. Lwkmd. Badoski. |
brainpulse: This also happened during IBB era- People came out to cry that they want him to continue.. Truth of the matter. Quite unfortunate. However the voice of the majority must be made to sound louder than that of the corrupt, mindless, incorrigible and damned sycophants. |
Shollypopz: Yes, I'm mynd_44. I'm also deolumike. . But really, can I buy you a drink sometime.. ![]() |
Shollypopz: What if I am?? They are intelligent men, absolutely no reason not to. For real! ![]() |
You guys came sounding a trumpet of "due process" as an excuse to frustrate the Manitoba contract, while majority of Nigerians who had begun to see a silver lining and great expectations in terms of improved power supply became despondent. Question now is What indeed has Manitoba done to correct the "due process" anomaly that has now seen it reinstated unconditionally? |
pwettytemmy: I'm getting tired of ur gbagaun. I tot someone advised u to go read ur brighter grammar in a recent thread? Are u still here?. ![]() |
sucess001: Wat I learnt is that after an incompetence laden media chat...d president will go ahead and pay some I.diots to come to nairaland to argue and spit rubbish in a bid to influence public opinion.... Reading some people's post, you'd sense they were paid to defend the incompetency of an inert administration. Bootlickers and sychophnats. That you and your parents are benefitting from the deplorable status quo will only make you partakers of the wrathful judgment when it comes. |
wesley80: Eh yah, I see why you were so disappointed. You obviously were expecting GEJ to solve Nigeria's problem through a media chat! Sorry dear, it doesnt work that way.. Hope! Pal, what hope did an ordinary Nigerian get from listening to the same old repeated promises over again with no sign of implementation. Did you observe he didn't give satisfactory answers to the questions thrown at him. No convincing answers backed with facts and figures. one does not understand what you mean by saying Nigerians should give their "brains a chance". Nigerians deserve better than leadership than this! |
2good: Financial worth of Robert De Niro is $185 Million (http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/actors/robert-de-niro-net-worth/). You and those who liked Ɣ☺ΰя comment have only showed that money is the god you worship. How does Ɣ☺ΰя financial worth bestows the license to be rude? Some things are not justr about money. People say our generation is to materialistic. I see why. |
shymexx: It seems the unintelligent folks on the thread think revolution means civil war, or they're just feigning ignorance because they benefit directly or indirectly from the corrupt government... Arab Spring in Tunisia and Egypt = revolution... Islamic revolution of Iran, French revolution, Cuban revolution etc. is the type of revolution Nigeria needs... |
;DBig congrats. But she could have released a more decent photo in which we won't be seeing 70% of her boobs. ![]() |
Aringon: My stand is that ILuMINATI is real whether you believe it or not. Satan does not want to spend eternity alone in hell and he has his strategies to recruit as many faithfuls as possible. In ILLUMINATI, there are ranks and the entertainers(music, actors and actresses) are the lower ranks and there are grand master(rockefellers, the Bush, the royal families throughout europe, the super rich, the former presidents of US, the former PM of UK,Catholic Church yes the Pope is a member etc). Who are those that are controlling the entertainment world, the media etc? Where did you do your research? On the internet right? Who controls what is published on the internet to favour them? |
lanreni: ...they have a well structured hierachy of which the 'programmed slaves' may never no those calling the shots higher up the triangle.most musicians, artists, artistes, scientists, billionaires, world presidents, captains of industries, etc are slaves of varying degrees.their reward is fame, fortune & continued success.check your life/lifestyle, chances are you are being influenced thru music, cartoons, movie, fashon, gadgets, belief system, etc whether you believe they exist or not..... You got it. That's exactly how it is. Ignorance will just keep a lot of people under the influence of mind control and they wouldn't know it. They rather scream "conspiracy theory" |
If you really want to know the Truth about these powerful cults, There's no need for aggresive research. Get a copy of the Bible and read chapter 17 of Revelation. And if you want to know how it will end then read chapter 18. You'll learn the truth from an omnipresent perspective. Then you'll have to make Ɣ☺ΰя own decision. |
kokosheen: Dude, I laugh at what you term ignorance, which means you're non-ignorant shey, Ode (I didn't say you're F0Ol. Nice one jare and that's just the truth of the matter. The guy made it seem like Mahatma Ghandi was a villain compared to Obj. Sometimes I wonder what makes Nigerians adulate political leaders that deserve prosecution. Obj that held on to the allocation of Lagos state because of some vendatta with the then incumbent gov over creation of much needed local governments. I remembered the supreme court gave its ruling on the matter. |
shymexx: Good news!. I can bet more than a thousand people will share the same targets with you, whichever individual you will have in the crosshair. Isn't it so unfortunate that this big country is plundered, pillaged and enslaved by few individals who of late seem to take pride in being identified as the Cabal? The situation is unacceptalbe. |
1025: uncle, do u know the difference between growing in Christ and growing in churches? you better start reading ur Bible and stop deceiving urself. if we are growing in Christ as u imagined, how come we are still under the ruler-ship of cultists? do u think Christ lives in a dark country like us? what we have here are churches and nothing more. the day we grow in Christ, a lot of things will change here.. Absolutely. Wonder where he got his own morbid idea of "growing in Christ". |
Callotti: People will leave the topic at hand and start insulting others!. I'd like to know. What's the meaning of "mu che che che che"? Just curious.. |
okpara ugo: Professor Barth Nnaji did such for reasons flimpsier than this.. Yeah. Isolated case and a rare exception. He's earned respect for that |
no mind those feminists who are blinded by I-don't-know what! These are people who are quick to term nija as 'insane' society but fail to see their adopted society where a boy can just pic up a gun, go to the restaurant and kill indescriminately, as insane. Height of double standard. |
It's quiet unfortunate that the Governor's statement has elicited such dismal reactions. It's clear enough. The law applies to everyone that is within the jurisdiction of Lagos state regardless of Ɣ☺ΰя ethnicity. EVERYONE within the borders. It's where we call home and we will continue to be each other's neigbours so the earlier we got along with one another, the better. But frankly, it's not particularly heartwarming for our Igbo brethren to claim they own Lagos state. No indegene of any place will welcome people from another state with such attitude. Nigeria remains a federal entity. |
[quote author=Youngzedd]They are preparing for war. So they want to use the Igbos and Hausa to attack Iran, dem they crazy. Na we deserve to die in conflict zone and their men will be in command as in (Oga and boi boi) No wonder their women are duped by some 9ja niggaz on daily basis about marriage things. Blacks wise pass whites. But wait ooo... Why Yoruba no follow the league? Na ONE Nigeria naa.. They should modify their speech as soon as possible. Na now I knew what happened. They want action not talking in the battle field, because they no say people go run when the deal will become tough. No wonder.... [b][color=red]Hmm you haven't seen anything yet, this thread will pass 9 pages. This war is for the mouth only, no weapon. Just watch and see Nairalanders in action. Are you a prophet. Page don pass 10 sef |
I sure hope they have generators in the hotel cos PHCN... |
