romeo:, Well I think, if they have met their projected profit margin for the year, this act of goodwill is NOT too much for Lagosians. Besides, how many people will be on the road this festive season? |

I pray if falls to $25 dollars or even lower, That will get us thinking, It could make bunkering less attractive, No free money from anywhere, If we are serious with agriculture/services/manufacturing etc we could make about half of what me make from oil, Besides, the level of positive change ( If much) is not comparable to the level of income from oil in the past 5-6 years. I pray it drops to less than $10 |
This is an ambitious price. Brand new is N2,700,000.00 Get real bro |

elmagnific:I wonder what the future hold for this country. Contributors on NL are about the best the country has produced in terms of enlightenment. It is so Sad that, we can't have constructive arguments for long before bringing in our useless , good for nothing ethnic alliances. This is the alliance that has killed millions people and probably will still kill more ( Who knows , who's next). In a world of globalisation, where the germans and the rest of the Europeans are forging ahead and forgetting their ugly past, we just refuse to move forward, pointing accusing fingers to issues that fundermantally do not exist but a creation of an idle black mans mind(ethnicity) |
@ poster You have a point |
Why do people still think like this. ![]() When a Kenyan is about to become the president of USA |
For real, I am beginning to wonder if the Human sacrifice we make to keep this country one is worth the stress. For decades there have been mass slaughter in the North for NO justifiable reason. The leaders continue to tell us to take heart and stay united. The Xenophobia in south Africa was not this bad!. The primary essence of our 70+ years in this world is NOT to be slaughtered for no good reason. 300 lives lost for nothing. If Nigeria cannot be a country, then let every tribe break-up and form it's own country. There is no point for any life to be lost for any reason whatsoever |
It so so sad. I guess these guys do NOT care about the havoc they are causing. |
Nigeria’s N40bn Satellite Missing from Orbit The Nigerian Commun-ications Satellite (NigComSat), which was launched into orbit over 18 months ago, is said to be missing. THISDAY gathered last night that with the satellite missing from orbit, the huge amount spent by the Nigerian government, about N40 billion may have gone down the drain. The satellite was found to have run into a technical hitch for some weeks now, according to a source, when it was discovered that it was using a technological standard that was not meant for Africa but Asia. The materials used in the building of the satellite by the Chinese that built it were said to have also been in question. The solar panel was said to be faulty and not working. All this was being battled with while, the Managing Director of NigComSat, Ahmed Rufai, was said to be angling for the launch of the second satellite. The contract for the NigComSat project which was signed on December 15, 2004 in Abuja between China Great Wall Industry Corporation and the National Space Research and Development Agency was said to have cost the Federal Government over N40 billion. China was awarded the deal after it outbid 21 international. , source : http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=127885 |

The problem with Nigeria is not in the name. The problem is the people. If the name is changes now , will that stop corruption, will that stop tribalism. Afterall NEPA changed to PHCN It all this Nigerian thing of looking for something to blame. The name of the country is not the problem, the british are not the problem, the oil is not the problem, . The problem is the people |
