Lagos started changing when Fashola became governor, he tried his best to reduce the menace of this Alayes and touts and also start developing Lagos.

Let's stop lying to ourselves Tinubu didn't do anything to develop Lagos he only gave Alaye boys power to forcefully collect "Owo mi da" from hardworking Lagosians and visitors that came to buy market. It's an open secret in Lagos that Tinubu values Touts and gives them power reason why you see touts like MC Oluomo is rich and powerful. Tinubu does not have any idea or competencies other than give touts power to molest hard working citizens.

Only people who were born in the late 90s and early 2000s would say Tinubu didn't do anything in Lagos.
I've not only seen or heard him speak, I know him very well. I know he has the right ideas and mindset, something I cannot say about other aspirants. Besides that, he's a better leader, someone who has an eye for people who can turn things around.

The government should hands off from regulating the sector. The market is there and I believe many businesses would want to invest. It doesn't have to be the government. The government knows what to do to attract investors if they so wish.

Oga, let's build the refineries first! There is no way that a sensible country will sell it's raw material to a country that doesn't have it, and then afterwards but the finished product. That is stupidity made in Nigeria. Petroleum products are bound to be expensive so long as this curiously strange behaviour continues.

Privatizing NNPC and building refineries will fail...so long as petrol is sold at N180 when it should be sold at N490 and above.

The reason why we have all this wayo is because petrol is not being sold at a profit. We don't have rice scarcity, beans scarcity, or even garri scarcity or queues for all those stuff.......because all the sellers of these commodities are allowed to set their prices as they wish.

We can build all the refineries we want...and if we still insist that fuel must be cheap because we are poor, and because we are suffering....the refineries won't earn enough money to pay for their upkeep and maintenance. Remember we do not even make most of the components.

And stop blaming 'vested interests'. The real reason why subsidy is there is because most Nigerians back it. The vested interests will do far better if subsidy goes.

At least we should build the refineries first and wait if it will fail or not. Importing refined petroleum products is the height of stupidity.
I'm not against subsidy removal, but I'm against importing petrol for local consumption. It affects a lot of things.

I could remember when there was scarcity during GEJ time, in Ilorin, whenever a Tanker leaves depot, the Gas Station the Tanker is headed would be announced in radio stations, so you can't hoard or divert the product. Also depot gave priority to marketers that don't cut corners.
It's too bad to go to Minna yesterday and Gas Stations having fuel, but come to the FCT, wahala. Even fuel stations in Suleja are selling.

It's a fact that most SE people hate the name, Tinubu. The hatred didn't start this year. It's also a fact that the North is highly religiously sentimental. The best thing a politically sound mind would advise is to choose a Muslim from the North. But I guess you guys have a better idea. If you take a step that your eternal enemy is happy about, be sure you've made a mistake.

All of you have one vote each, you should not assume you dictate who Northern Christians will vote for. By Nigerian geography, I'm Yoruba, a Northerner from Kwara State and I'll be voting for Tinubu.
