I have my reasons. During the ban on imported Rice, I witnessed how Nigerians re-bag local rice and sell at foreign price. I'll still say it again, our government is just a mere reflection of the kind of people we are.
Most people complaining are doing so because they don't have the opportunity. Give them little influence, they'll start misbehaving and be something worse than what they used to hate.
Go to Banks, or government offices and see how people who normally can not lace your shoes would treat you like trash. They believe they're helping you, forgetting that they're there in the first place because you'll be coming. These are the same people blaming Buhari. O ya, make them the President for one week and see how soon they'll forget why they are there.
Our government is bad, but we as a people, we are worse.

You can give everything you have to the need, but nothing concern paying tithes and being a Christian.

Tinubu is not what he's portrayed as. Lagos was a former British colony that was driven by oppressive capitalism. Tinubu has NOTHING to do with this. The foreign investment trooping into Lagos for "partnership" do so because they know poor Lagosians can be exploited. Tinubu or not, foreign investment will keep coming to Lagos. All Tinubu did was increase the tax on these foreign companies thereby increasing IGR but in turn, Lagosians/Nigerians had to pay dearly because those companies increased the cost of their goods/services. Even the IGR is not matching the Human Development Index. My best guess is he looted most of our IGR.

Even the drug allegations are actually true as he had to forfeit a certain amount.
Several court charges of money laundering on him in 2007 that the Nigerian judges are saying they should not have dismissed in 2010.


I know Peter Obi is not the governor of the year but he's definitely not corrupt. Not a single stain on him. That alone gives him an edge over all these politicians.

Personally, I don't believe in voting someone from the political class expecting him to put an end to impunity. I believe in organisation of the citizens themselves to take power from our oppressors but obviously Nigerians are not ready.

But from the political class, Peter Obi remains the best candidate.

Well, Nigeria as a whole was a British colony, so the case of Lagos is not in isolation. If you say, Lagos by reason of its unique geographical location, is bound to succeed, I'll agree, but never because it was a former FCT or anything.
Corruption is mostly overrated. It exists even in advanced countries. What we need is someone who will help us build strong institutions that endure.
I'm not going to vote for anyone because I think he/she is not corrupt. And I'm not going to judge you based on public opinions of you.
If you check my account statements from last year, you'd think I've gone into drugs too.
If anything, I like Tinubu's leadership qualities. I've known him well and long enough to know what he believes in and I've been waiting for an opportunity to vote for him. I'll not miss that opportunity because some people think he's corrupt, sick or too old.

Corruption is overrated. It's not our major problem. Our institutions are.
Tinubu maybe likely not be able to help us generate 20000mw, completely stop importation of refined petroleum products, or generate enough revenue that'll make borrowing unnecessary within 8 years, but he has everything it takes to put us on the right path to achieving that.
I'm not blinded by hate. I voted for Atiku in the last election because I'm sure he's better than Buhari. I'll be voting for Tinubu next year because I believe he's the best man for the job. In fact, I've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.
Maybe in the nearest future, if another Ibo person contests and I'm convinced he/she will do well, I'll vote for him/her, but I'll never vote for Obi for President.

This is very annoying. I launched a platform recently. Someone raised a help ticket. At first, I thought it was a bug ticket only for me to see a complaint that he couldn't register because there are only male and female in the gender option. Honestly, during the development stage, I thought about adding at least, "Other" option but I just couldn't do it. Maybe I would have had no choice if the project was done in partnership with others, but this is something I single-handedly started and finished, so I can't do anything against my belief just to please anyone.
I had to tell him the platform is meant for male and female genders.

If the turn out is impressive (anything above 50%) and he wins with anything between 45 to 50%, he's good to go.
You people are ignoring the fact that Tinubu is a Yoruba man. You assume Obi will win SE and SS massively, but think Tinubu won't do the same in the SW.
Since everyone is supporting their own, SW will not be allowed to be the battle ground. We'll encourage our people to troop out enmasse to vote their son too. The next election will have the highest turn out rate in the SW.
If Tinubu will not win the election, we'll make sure he wins resoundingly at home, and we'll see how it goes.

Obi emphatically accused those in government of being solely responsible for Oil theft since it's highly impossible for ordinary folks to coordinate the logistics involved!
He was categorical and he gave his valid reasons as to why he believes that those in government are the ones responsible.

Until he made that accusation, the Lagos ibadam expressway section of Nigerias press has been pushing the narrative suggesting that "Oil bunkering " is like common robbery by ordinary thieves. What Obi did was to expose Nigerians to what was going on. It was an eye opener for millions.
People now know what happens with Oil vessels in the high seas .

If you believe the country is loosing N700 million to oil theft month and the government doesn't know about it, that should be a revelation to you.
