Soldiers who are supposed to be kept in a big warehouse where they would be researching on how to develop superior tires, vehicles, weapons to overcome our challenges are used as escorts and body guards as your rightly highlighted. We need fundamental change,it's as simple as that.

When Commissioned officers are getting killed like chickens in a military structure every now and then, then you know the country's military itself is an eyesore. In the Nigerian army for example there is zero Intelligence, an almost non-functional airforce to provide aerial support, obsolete weapons , zero welfare for soldiers . Very pathetic.

If you go to ojo barracks , Lower ranked soldiers are used to clear farmlands of superior officers. They are used as gateman to watch over their wives and kids living outside the barracks. They serve as their body guards and are sent to mount road blocks just to keep them busy. The whole system is bad, it needs overhaul.

I can relate with this one right here. Bottom line is; LOVE YOURSELF more.
