Now, look at the staggering amount of Corona Virus suspect secretly quarantine in a popular Hotel instead of an isolation centre.

The truth is, Ekpan is under strong curse.

Bro, each time i go to the East (with unregistered cars) i spend well over 20k on police/customs settlement.

Don't know your routes, but once you turn right at Sagamu bypass to face Benin express the nightmare starts, police checkpoints almost every 2km stretch.

Now, we're all different, I can't leave my house 4am and want to still be on the road by 6pm, all cos i let police delay me over #200 settlements. If you don't want to pay, of course you won't pay, its all about scale of preference, which do you value more, your money or your time.

Calculate multiple #200 payments and FSARS will tell you they won't collect anything below #500, refuse and you'll be delayed. Imagine when 20 checkpoints take 30 mins each away from your journey, won't be funny
You said it all. Case closed!

What works for A, may not work for B. And C can not verify clams by A, while D may bogusly claim to do better than A, but not even good enough to serve under B. The cycle goes on and on.
This is the ugly part of online forums, few people may remain under anonymous profiles and make unverifiable pronouncement. As if that isn't enough, others will use their egoistic imaginations to trample on other people's honest opinions. Smh

my brother order for refund asap.. i order a xiaomi redmi airdots since Feb 02 till now i received nothing.. after the goods left china in feb, my good wasn't updated.. no virus as at that time.. and also my buyer protection of 60days has expired.. God knws i disturbed the customer care.. they kept telling me its in transit. I told them that I don't care.. that my buyer protection has finished.. its risky to still leave my cash... i ask the seller, he claimed its in AliExpress hand not his.. imagine.. so i opened a dispute the first time, AliExpress considered it invalid... I contacted their customer care and told them.. they said i should be calm.. so i opened a 2nd dispute on the same goods.. AliExpress considered it invalid also.. i lost my patience and started talking to the customer care and tadaaaa... She opened a refund for me...also i am yet to see the refund... But it has been initiated... 3-20days i will receive my 7780 Naira back.. also they gave me a bonus of 7500 Naira in coupons eligible for 3months ( grin i have planned what to use it and buy and i just need to add 3dollars grin). Equivalent to the amount i bought that goods.. they did that to compensate my patience and all the 60days i waited in agony...the sad part is that I don't need that goods anymore...cos i actually bought it here in Nigeria...so after refunding my money, they went ahead to still give me coupons equivalent to my money too... finally they told me to watch out that the goods would still reach Nigeria.. that once it reaches and i am being contacted.. that i should still go and collect the Xiaomi airdots.. i told them its wrong.. they replied that cases like this.. during this covid19 that they have it all planned out.. that i will be lucky to have my money back, with my goods and i as well have the coupons. They said the seller still got his money..tho.. that this is on AliExpress for not updating my goods...cos as long as the seller shipped it out of china.. he would get paid.. so as i am.. I'm jejely waiting for the airdots and my refund has already being actualised.. my luck!
Oga, I appreciate your honesty and resilience. But be informed that covid19/shipping desruptions started in 2019 long before your order.
Pls, when you receive your goods, be kind enough to contact the same customer care, and take what ever action they tell you to do. Let's be considerate. Cheers

PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri Reacts To Sanusi's Dethronement As Emir Of Kano by dgitrader(m): 9:37am On Mar 10, 2020
saaron:
Like I said in the other thread, I don't give a crap about what happens in fulani kingdom. They can fight and dethrone themselves for all I care. It's their bloody northern fulani islamic problem, not Nigeria.
However, I'm not surprised that Sanusi was detroned. In the first place, Aminu Ado Bayero was/is the rightful heir to the throne, not Sanusi.
Sanusi's enthronement as emir of Kano was based nothing but political considerations to spite GEJ and water down his govt's influence in the north as 2015 presidential elections approaches.
Sanusi allowed himself to be used by GEJ's political opponents. They used him extensively to discredit the then PDP govt and make them unpopular by throwing out unbelievable figures that huge sums of dollars amouting to billions have disapeared from the vault. But Sanusi, who at that time was under investigation for financial impropriety in CBN by the Financial Intelligence of Nigeria made the spurious allegation of missing cash to save himself. Of course Sanusi's investigation by the then govt was immediately given a political coloration by the opposition APC who claimed Sanusi was being persecuted for raising alarm over alleged missing $20 billion. An allegation even Sanusi himself could not defend as he gave out conflicting figures when interrogated by the Senate.
After Sanusi's suspension as CBN gov by the then president GEJ to allow for smooth Investigations on Sanusi's financial activities in CBN (Remember the N100 million CBN money Sanusi outrightly gave out to Kano IDPs?).
The opposition, who at that time were solidly behind Sanusi for politics of course then came up with a plan. How can they save Sanusi from investigation and possible prosecution by GEJ's govt? Royal office was the solution. Give Sanusi royal office. Since royal office holders in Nigeria are hardly investigated or prosecuted for corruption no matter how bloody corrupt they're based on Nigeria's corrupt feeding bottle system, the opposition led by Kwankwaso who was Kano gov at that time decided to make Sanusi a royal office holder. Almost immediately, Sanusi was announced by the Kano state gov, Kwankwaso as the new emir of Kano, amids protest by Kano people of course.
All this was done to save Sanusi from prosecution and spite GEJ govt who incidentally at that time were lobbying for Aminu Ado Bayero.
Funy enough, Aminu Bayero is now the new emir of Kano. Turns out GEJ's govt were supporting the right candidate.
Well, now with Sanusi dethrone, I guess the corrupt alliance the then APC opposition saints had with him has expired.
Sanusi is nothing but a bloody corrupt fellow who used the ''Royal Office'' antidote to save himself from prosecution.
ONE NIGERIA IS DEAD!
Your analysis is Rock Solid!
Car Talk2011 Civic Clocks 804,672km, No Major Repairs by dgitrader(op): 9:24am On Mar 10, 2020

My 2011 Honda Civic hitting 500,000 miles.
Original engine and transmission, no rebuilds.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FipmkiWymq0

LX 4 door model - built in Canada. I do a coolant and transmission fluid drain and fill every ~40,000 miles. Oil change every 10 to 12k. Primary used for work, making deliveries. I purchased it in October of 2015, with 32,000 miles. Automatic transmission. Zero accidents or tickets since I bought her smiley . Runs as good as it ever has.

Talk about reliability.
What constitutes a car's reliability? The usual measure of reliability would be putting up years and miles without encountering any problems, or at least not any major issues.

In a previous report of 15 vehicles that will most likely hit 200,000 miles, brands like Honda, Toyota, Ford, and Chevy populate the list. The study, which was provided by iSeeCars, hailed the Toyota Sequoia as the most likely to reach the 200,000-mile mark, while the only sedan on the list was the Toyota Avalon. Surprisingly, the Honda Civic wasn't included, which would probably rile up the owner of the car on the video above.
Found through a Reddit thread with a supporting Youtube video, an owner of a 2011 Honda Civic reached 500,000 miles without any major problem, particularly with its engine and transmission. The Civic, which is a four-door LX sedan built in Canada (probably looks like the one in the photos above), was purchased by the current owner in 2015 with 32,000 miles on the clock.

According to the owner, he drains and fills the coolant and transmission fluid every 40,000 miles. Oil change is done every 10,000 to 12,000 miles.

In the video, you'll see the actual moment that the owner has hit the 500,000-mile mark or 804,672 kilometers for those who use the metric system. It was an incredible feat, we reckon, both for the car and the owner who goes behind its steering wheel regularly.

It goes to show that with proper care and maintenance, a car will reach miles and years without acting up. In this case, the whole 468,000 miles of it the moment he got the Civic.
