Below is what my friend, whom I would like to call Pascal, said to his present girlfriend to make her become his! He had met her at a friend’s wedding and exchanged contacts with her. They had had a few moments to be together socially. One day he invited her over and what happened is written below. Now my question for the ladies is this: If you were the lady, what would you say based on the write up below; do you consider it romantic and convincing enough to say yes? The guys: Would you suggest he acted differently based on the write up below; did he appear too week or otherwise? Pascal: ''Suzzy,'' he raised his face to meet hers, his eyes gazing romantically into her face and exploring deep into her eyes to see what feelings lie behind them, ''please can I hold your hand for a moment?'', he stretched forward his right hand to get connected with hers. She hesitated for a while, then offered him her right hand to create a bond! He dropped his gaze to settle on the succulent palm just placed on his! Having held it and firmly placed it between his two palms so that he could feel the warmth of her body, he raised his face once again to settle on her eyes! ''Suzzy'', he called her in the most seductive and romantic manner, so expressive of a desire to get connected to her world that she could only get soaked in feelings that can only find expression in the opposite gender, ''Thank you for giving me your hand, I’m most honored! You see”, he lowered his eyes once more to settle on her palm and stroked it affectionately then raised it to make contact with her eyes once again. “I’ve often fantasized and imagined myself in a world detached from reality! It’s a beautiful world and I want it to be made real! I fantasize about this world because there’s someone so beautiful in it that I want and that is--- you, Suzzy! I've never been myself since the day I met you! At first I wasn’t sure of what I was feeling but, with each passing day, I get more and more convinced that I love you. You awakened my deepest feelings when our paths crossed on that day; your beauty, your smile, your eyes, your gait, the way you express yourself, everything about you is what I desire in a lady and if you would give me the opportunity, I’d love to be the man in your life! I want you to be the love of my life! I love you, Suzzy! Would you be the one that I love?”… |
And why not? Yes, I would. |
nid glasses? c ur doc swit!
I meant the language you used in your post! What language was that, Bracadosh? I've never had eye problems but after reading, rather looking, at your post, I think I should! |
... As he caught her skirt, revealing part of what she was wearing under, and grabbed her firmly, while she was struggling and shouting, with a disdainful Look on her face, people had to intervene! People were probably, looking at what was unfolding because the only thing that differentiated them was that, one was dirty while the other was clean! Having realized that it was a mad man trying to molest a supposed sane lady, they intervened and tore him apart from her and chased him away! She was one lucky girl that day, at least for not to have been forced in by a mad man! She should thank her stars that it was not a lonely part! |
bendazum: GUY COMPLETE THE STORY NAH,EVEN IF IT'S FICTION.GET ON WITH IT.Bleep SUBSCRIBING WITH POPCORN AND JUICE.This one no b fiction o! Na reality on full display for wie my ai dey Look! |
...She started running too! She had high heels on and the mad man , being very excited , was gaining on her! Seeing that he was too close for comfort, she tried to run into a supper market but then he was too close for her to bring all his chasing and probably, the prayer he made before starting the chase, to zilch! He probably might have said within him that, ''Ha , if this lady runs into that supper market, I'm finished; there's no way for this thing to calm down, and I can't manage this thing the way it is! I must not let this happen''! He made a last minute grab at her before she would enter the supper market and he didn't miss! He caught her skirt, revealing 'something' she had on under the skirt, in the process! As he got hold of her and made an effort to bring to reality his fantasies, he started saying, ''This thing'', pointing to the angry man around his waist, ''it can't remain like this; there must be a way out''! ...There was nothing else he wanted from her but that thing men cannot do without! I realized that day that mad men can be very dangerous when they are excited! |
gboss4sure: Abeg come complete de tori.Ok let's go there! |
Tolexander: You think say madman no sabi differentiate paradise from hell!My brother, they're becoming self-conscious these days o, with this trouble our girls make them go through every day in our streets! |
did he.....?
You want to know? |
Sad, but such things happen in life and she should be bold enough to face the future, casting behind the sad memories of a failed marriage! The fact that she has had a failed marriage cannot erase the possibility of her getting a husband! Though, we do not know the reasons for their divorce, she must have learnt some lessons. I'm of the opinion that one should not go into marriage when he or she doesn't feel comfortable about it. Marriage is not to be endured but enjoyed by both parties! Probably, the man may have gone into the marriage out of pity for her for having been around in his life for a long time, as you say! After the marriage, reality sets in and prodded him into taking that decision! But then, it's not the end of life, so she should Look to the future with hope and belief that there is some man out there who will take her for a wife irrespective of her past! |
I gues u shld jst get ur self off d trend or better stl stop pretendin to be wat u'r nt..this trend is a very sensible one in that it wil caution girls on wat nt and wat to wear so as nt to be disgraced or embarrasd out thr.All in d name of civilizatn and westernizatn, ppl av suddenly 4gotn their sense of decency!
Thank you plenty, plenty. |
lrguru: I beg to duffer maam', Maybe the kind of men u just described are ur cousins or the boys u mingle with.Sir, are you sure you do not feel the way she described above? It's hard not to have those kinds of thoughts, especially when you both are not married, though they may be suppressed in some people and not felt by quite a few! In the majority people feel this way either consciously or unconsciously and it goes both ways; ladies feel the same if a guy behaves in a similar manner! OP -> Try to strike a balance somewhere for there is a price for everything given in excess of demand! |
tpacalipse: I think the real quetion is....... Why are there so many MAD ladies in Nigeria? My brother, I hope someone can answer this question. But I think as human beings, we all have this unquenchable thirst for attention. People want to be noticed and be given attention! It's not just the ladies but men as well. The thing with the ladies is that in this part of the world, it's mostly believed to be wrong for ladies to go after men so the least they can do is to get your attention by making you Look at them with a desire to talk to them! I remember when I was discussing with a female friend of mine and she remarked that since she got her present boyfriend, no other guy has been admiring her and she was doubting if the guy, her boyfriend, used charm on her! Imagine! So the craving for attention could be the main reason for their being 'mad', dressing seductively! |

Plarp: I think the real question is... why are they so many "mad men" in nigeria?May be our girls can answer that! They've vowed to make every man go crazy, so if you have not gone crazy, then thank your stars! Lol. |
Smuthx: This kind of post is not worth to be discussed here. We are civilised here. I believe this place is not a run-down poverty striken location where nonsense and gabbage is raised as an issue to be analysed. What has your being civilized got to do with the post? Does civilization make you escape reality? Or you're too bitter to let a smile escape your lips? |
specialguest: Lolz id like to hear more of this story... I can imagine what would have happened if this incident occured on a lonely street at night..Ok, I'll give the concluding part. |
rokiatu: If I can see posts like this on nairaland even once a month I will never quit. You can't get this from even internationally comedy shows. OH my days this is funny.Really? As for your question, yes! |
Ladies won't kill us with their dressing! It's not enough for them making us (the normal ones) go crazy about them, but now even a mad man can't control himself again! Chai! Why have they started arousing sexual feelings in mad men with their dressing? E no easy for mad men again o! Imagine a mad man running after a lady in the street shouting, ''No way, she can't just make my thing stand like this and go! I must do her; i must free myself from this''! Wow, mad men are in trouble these days that ladies have added another dimension to their madness by dressing so provocatively with the intention to 'kill' the men! We're ready to die admiring you *Chuckles* but, please spare the mad men on the street. On this fateful day, a lady just alighted from a taxi. A mad man was sitting some distance away from where the taxi stopped for her to alight. Right from when she alighted, this mad man had been looking at her, but when she got closer he started behaving funny; he scratched his head and gave a kind of smile that suggested something was tickling him inside! He buried his hands in his trousers and started playing with something around his waist where that thing which can find satisfaction only in the body of a woman is! As she walked past him and put some distance between them, he got up! He looked into the sky, his mouth moving but no one heard what he was saying! At that time the man between his legs had been so provoked that it assumed different dimensions and was struggling to go 'hunting'! The next thing we heard from him was, ''Waitin'', his hands placed over the enlarged area around his waist, ''how can this girl do this to me? This thing can't remain like this, no way''! He started running towards her saying those words above. Looking back and seeing that the mad man was running after her, she started running too! ...It's bad enough they're mad but why are the ladies adding more to it? Ladies why una com ad anoda dimension to their madness with una dressing? E gud like dat, ehn? |
KateSpade: This is my current situation. He calls often, wants me to call him, it might stir up past feelings for a day or two but they are memories, that's it. If I'm interested I will come back on my own volition and certainly not happening while they are thousands of miles away. No amount of calls, gifts can change my heart.Yeah, distance can be one big problem in the way of uniting one with an ex! |
vislabraye: Actually it was my friend who said, "I don fuk am, fuk am tire. " Even at that he still couldn't resist her. That is what I'm saying. It was foolish and gross display of immaturity on the part of your friend to say that! Tell him I said so! |
vislabraye: I know a very close friend of mine who was dating a particular girl. In fact he loved her so much that he planned to marry her. They've even been sleeping together.I can perceive from your post that your friend was immature and too emotional to make a girl want to come back with a desire to renewing a relationship! She stayed with him probably because she did not no any better or perhaps, he was spending on her like money was going out of fashion! She may have had no strong feelings for him! Tell your friend to be a man! Imagine someone saying, ''You fit take am? I don fuk am, fuk am, fuk am tire''! Shoo! |
vislabraye: I have found out severally that it is very impossible for a man to win a girlfriend who has broken up with him. I've noticed that when her interest is down, you just have to leave. This is circumstancial and it's not generally true that a girl who broke up with you sometime ago will not come back, especially if she felt anything for you! She could even come back with stronger feelings for you than she ever felt before! Besides, you don't have to beg her or buy her gifts to bring her back. Begging a woman to stay with you if she wants to have a feel of life outside you is a big mistake that shouldn't be made! You just have to connect with her emotional side and let things take their natural course. You have a part to play on your side after she may have left to re-awaken and intensify her feelings once more for you. In all, it's a beautiful world and if it doesn't work out, you move on! |
berem: what evidence do you need to chase her out? are you waiting for her to get pregnant first before it dawns on you that you at risk of loosing your husband soon? what makes you think they aren't having sexx? first of all you made a mistake of asking your husband such question. when you noticed that something was fishy, if i were in your shoes, i would look for a good excuse to send her packing. now it might be difficult to do that because of your husband. I advise you to talk things over again with your relations and make them reason with you.Beautiful! This is the way to go! |
dynamicyem: I'm not desperate to have one because i don't like rushing things but each time i see lovely couples walking together, i feel the emptiness in my soul.....i need a girl to quench my thirst of loneliness.I can give you one but it'll cost you! Are you ready to pay the price? If you want her, call me on 0803§77¤889. Anyway, what's holding you? Is it the room to study the girl or girls are not available? Well , you've started your advert here on nairaland, a good place I must say! |
Ozegbe: thought you were a female. She said, assuming she was a guy that's what she would do! Meaning she is not a guy, but what you thought she was! Shoo, u no dey undersand engris? |
I want to believe that your statement above is due to lack of information on your part. Lets examine the numbers more closely using September 2012 as a benchmark. The monthly allocation from the total disbursement of nets after deductions, to the oil producing states are - AkwaIbom N17.3bn, Rivers receiving N12.5bn, Delta N13.2bn and Bayelsa N8.5bn. That is a whopping N51billion in one month!! That does not include other funds punped into the region by CBN and a host of other sources. Multiply that by 12 months/year and it will be apparent to you that these state governments received over N6trillion (approx $40billion) over ten years. Add to that N250+ billion per year given to NDDC and you'll agree with me that enough money has already been poured into the region to turn the entire region to Qatar!! If you say the money is not enough to build the necessary infrastructure, you are surely mistaking.
Interesting to see you provided those figures. I want to believe that you know what it costs to build 1km of road in a state like Bayelsa! Presently, there 're three senatorial roads for which contracts have been awarded. One of those roads, about 42km, is awarded for N42b and the three roads are almost of the same size! Now, looking at your figure, even if the state government does not even pay salaries or do any other thing with the N8.5b as the figure you provided above, it will take a while before these three roads are finished! These are the kinds of things that the people want; capital intensive projects such as these require federal government's financial might and commitment. it's not beautifying state capitals with paltry sums as allocation and say it's enough! Perhaps, because you know that N8.5b can do wonders in some sections of the country, you say the region should not get more than it's getting! It requires more funds for faster development. |
I'll make my presence known, then I'll walk away finally. That'll be the end of whatever it is we shared , assuming she was my wife! If there is anything I cannot forgive, it's infidelity. But on the other hand if we're just an item, and I have no hope of marrying her, then I can give her another chance! |
Open your eyes!!! There is enough money flowingto the ND region to do whatI am suggesting 10 times over and to also build necessary infrastructure. Its time to start holding the governors who receive hundreds of billions of naira annually and NNDC accountable.
I totally agree with you on making the governors and the NDDC officials accountable. However, I would want to disagree with you on your saying that the money coming to the Niger Delta is enough to build the necessary infrastructure! It isn't. It doesn't have to take centuries to develop the niger delta! And this is what is implied if the development of the region depends only on what is coming to the agencies and state governments. Federal government's financial might is needed! |
pato station: These common people have started doing what the Federal Government have refused to do: BUILDING MORE REFINERIES! Unfortunately, they have also started doing some of the things our government/Oil Companies are doing: STEALING FROM OUR COMMONWEALTH AND POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT. Let's wait and see who will outdo each other. What are they stealing from you? Smh. |
