There was no DOB on statement of result. The date on the transcript that UI sent to WES Canada during the ECA process was correct, that was evident on my ECA report as it bears the correct DOB. So i guess the problem was during the printing of the Certificate.

Good Day Seniors in the house, I need your advice....

My wife and I finished Masters from UI and we evaluated the Masters degree with WES which we later used in the Express Pool.

As at the time that we sent the transcript for WES evaluation, the Certificate was not ready, so we only uploaded the Notification of result on our WES portal.

Fastforward to some months later, the Certificate was released and we found out that there was mistake on the date of birth on the Certificate. They misplaced Day as Month & Month as Date.

Our Score in the Pool is in the 480s and we are hoping to receive ITA once the FSW draw resumes whereas University of Ibadan cannot effect the changes on time as they said they only print Certificate from abroad. The real date of birth is May 1, 1989 which can rewritten as 01/05/1989 or 05/01/1989(US style). But they wrote January 5, 1989 whereas my month of birth is May. Same Mistake was done for almost all my mate

Hope you saw where the mistake is?

Please what can we do incase we receive ITA soonest and we are to submit our application because the error is corrected?

Start the formal process of asking for the correction of DOB on the certificate from UI - write them a letter.

If ITA comes before it is resolved, then provide IRCC with:

1.LOE explaining exactly what you have told us and info from UI that they are unable to correct it soon because certificates are printed offshore.

2.Letter from UI admitting the error on DOB.

3.Your letter to UI asking for the correction on DOB.

Was there a DOB on the statement of result? If yes and if correct, include this as evidence that the DOB error on certificate is from UI.

The original result came out on 10 /3/2021. And I remarked and it was uploaded on 14/4 2021 while the refund email came on the 18/4/2021. So, are you saying I should use 14/4/2021 instead?

Some province ask for the result date.

Like in my case, Ontario asked for the result date. I intend to use 29/6/2021 which is actually 3days after I received NOI from them. Meanwhile, the exam was taken in February, 2021. I will just put LOE and attached an email showing that the result came out long before now.

My advise to him is to request for the hard copy now and don't wait.

This is not always the case. Mine has a new date. I contacted MOD they said its the date they print the result that will be on that space.

POF is ready but in the Naira account. Due to the Naira depletion and devaluation everyday, I know it is not economically safe to keep POF in Naira. Is it adviceable advisable to Open a DOM account now in order to move the money or is there any advice that can be given?

I plan to use Gift deed when i get to the stage of POF but I am saving part of the money myself but I don't know if it'll be completed before then, when someone want to send me a gift deed does it have to be the full amount or the person can just send the remaining to balance it up

Mine was November 5th 2020, I call them every month and order gcms once in 3 months. Last time I called was last tuesday and they told me everything has been passed. Just waiting for an officer to finalize it. So I ordered another gcms note, my 3rd.

The reason I am writing this
Is because I learnt there might be a draw this month.
With my CRS score I might likely get an invitation.
What are the other fees to be paid post ITA..
Are we paying for Visa fee and if yes how much please? 825 for visa fee, 85 for biometrics, 500 rfpf = 1410 CAD (equivalent of almost 550k i paid last month)
What of police certificate how much is that? N4500 - N10,000 depending on bargaining power.
I need to plan for it financially so as not to be stranded... Medicals 40k with qlife, 45k i think with IOM then maybe fees for sending passport when time reach.

You can't edit anything after receiving and accepting ITA and I do not think this updated POF will affect those that have already accepted their ITA

Obviously I’m only guessing and making possible/ logical conclusions. I don’t work at IRCC, don’t bite me please. You are probably right and they are updating proof of funds for a program they don’t intend to ever recommence �

Yes they do that every year at the start of the year (Jan) however they didn’t do so this year January cos they had no intention of doing FSW draws cos of Covid. They just updated it this month clearly because they intend to recommence.

I am open to being corrected.....but....from what I understand:

Nothing is locked at ITA.....except age...... and IRCC had to write a special policy for that.

ITA means they invited you to apply.
AOR means you have actually applied/submitted your application.

At AOR stuff still needs to be valid, including IELTS, ECA, POF etc.......
