The BC was me and i remember stating that it was to my best knowledge besides people on this thread have said they had listening without headphones And just speakers so i don’t understand the jabs you are throwing. All you had to do was clarify.

When i post, i state what i know with clauses like “i think”. If an adult cannot do their own research, how is that my problem

Try to tone down throwing advise here and there without solid backing. I understand u are trying to help.
The whole idea of gift deed signed in front of witnesses is so that the giver/donor cannot lay claim in the future....its just easier to understand if the gift is coming from a family member. Some people's guardian is their Uncle/Aunty, the important thing is that the gift be legitimate and not someone who is trying to game the system. Key here is legitimacy

P.S: A loan giver will NEVER acquiesce to signing a gift deed, because he will enter one chance & no way he can redeem the loan as he has signed it off already.

I never said not to get a gift deed...read before understanding.

O think there was a post on one of the previous parts where an application was flagged (not rejected) because gift deed came from a sister or cousin (i no remember).

Also it’s been adviced on this thread and others that gift deed is better from parents than an extended family member.

Hello guys, I need some clarification concerning POF.

For 1 person, it’s about 12,960 CAD. I have an uncle that wants to pay the money into my account but in US dollars (had to open a domiciliary account for that purpose).

It’s equivalent is about 10,000 USD, told him to pay it in bits, he has paid 3k dollars twice and it’s remaining about 4k. Want him to pay the rest by next month.

My question is hope it won’t look suspicious that I have such amount entering my account, when I request for my statement of account, it will only show that money was paid in 3 times.

Your uncle cannot directly provide PoF for you. Get him to send it to either one of your parents who would then forward it to you and then you do a gift deed (Notarised or not). Anything short of this will get your application rejected o.

I really need your input. I served in one of the government ministries in Akwa Ibom state between 2018-2019.

I got a reference letter from my Director then, she included her details such as her phone number and email and the letter was written in the Ministry's letter headed paper.

I just got the shocking news that the woman is dead..please can I still use that reference letter?

Might be best to get a new one since it’s her contact details on the letter and she’s no longer contactable.

Getting a new one: if you don’t know another person there, go to whoever is incharge with the old letter and plead to get same in new format plus they should have a record of your time there hopefully (fingers crossed).

Same questions, different providers and similar fees.

I think IDP uses headphones for all their listening sessions and BC doesn’t.

Also BC has computer based exams and IDP doesn’t (to the best of my knowledge).

Police report: 3,500 - 10,000 (depends on bargaining power). Search for inspector moshood if you are in Lagos.

Medicals: 35k at Qlife, 45k (i think) At IOM

Biometrics: check ircc and vfs website or someone else can clarify.

As for the name issue, a one and same person affidavit or just a get a new birth certificate. I’m not sure whether you submit birth certificate as i’ve not gotten to that stage in the journey but it’s better to clarify the name issue now.

I think a one and same person affidavit should cover it. Also just explain in an LOE that you answer all the given names or better yet just get a new birth certificate and include all the names you answer that appear on your credentials and legal documents.

Try using another bank card (doubt that would work because most banks have the same limit).

Your options: open a dorm account and use the card to pay or get someone(Trusted) in Canada to pay for you and refund them in Naira.

There’s also dollar cards floating around that you can sign up for and use to pay. I don’t remember the names right now but i’ll update if i do.

@SolomonAdeola its your card limit.

See my response above, it applies. Also someone mentioned using a stanbic or Access bank card as they have a higher limit.

To add to this: Before or after Getting PR, it is your responsibility to get the right certification for you to practice in Canada. All IRCC wants to know is that you have a degree or two and enough work experience to cover the points you are claiming.

No difference between online or classroom. What should be of concern is if Masters from the school is positively evaluated as Masters by the assessing bodies. Rare to get 1year online Masters that's cheap. Most online Masters span 2-3years. I did online Masters and was positively evaluated.

Before the lock down, I had more than enough for pof but by the time I got ita in the first draw after that long break, the money had reduce so I sold my car and added the money to the pof. I kind of concerned about it because i paid in about 1.9 to my account. But I added a loe including the receipts of purchase when I first got it and also receipt of sale. What'd you think? What you explained is exactly what i mean. Writing a letter and attaching evidence of sale of property is you explaining how the huge sum landed in your account.

Some people may have gotten contracts over a period and would like to clarify how/why they were receiving huge payments. Thats what i was referring to when i mentioned explaining cash flow over time. You have nothing to fear.

I recently just got my ielts IDP result(LRWS-8.5,9,7,8.), I used it to fill my express entry application form. I wasnt aware that i could apply for remark until a friend told me. So requested for a remark for writing so as to increase it to 7.5, hopefully in order to max out, only for an individual to tell me yesterday that i cannot use a trf number belonging to a result that is being remarked to fill my application form, which i had already done even before requesting for a remark. My fear is that if i get ITA, i will be stuck as there is a posibility i may recieve an ITA in the next draw and once ITA has been recieved amendment of the application becomes difficult. I also heard that idp will change my trf number. My current score is 471, but if the remark is successful it will rise to 474. Please help i dont know what to do. Should i delete my EE profile?

IDP trf doesn’t change with remarking. I know this because mine didn’t change but i believe that these things are locked into your profile when you get ITA so you may not be able to edit the result if ITA comes before the remark result comes back.

These Things no hard na, it’s everywhere including the very famous page 1. you gotta learn to use the search box/google.
Get the money sent in by family member (Preferably the parents). Write a gift deed, notarize or not and add to your pof documents and submit.

A friend that is familiar with visa/immigration stuff just told me that even if WES evaluates my certificate, that when it’s time for me to apply for Express Entry that my degree from NOUN will be be rated as Zero. My heart fell into my stomach for a second and then he added ‘ Dont waste your money and dash WES’ bcoz WES is just a company on its own even if the evaluate my certificate but if I don’t believe him, I should go and try and then come back to give him d feedback.

I was gonna try to see if I could apply for My Masters in Canada so while WES evaluates my certificate and I prepare for IELTS, let me see if I can even get admission and study Visa before applying for EE and he was like No school would give me admission with my NOUN certificate except maybe community colleges .

My dear do not panic. Your NOUN degree is very valid and will be evaluated. Carry on and ignore shallow minded people. If i were you, i would ignore future advice from this friend regarding immigration matters

I believe NOUN graduates are able to apply for EE as long as it’s a degree or masters or PGD. WES evaluates so panic not.

Also it might be worth sharing the information you got (if it’s relevant) and we (part 10 occupiers)can point you in the right direction.
