Update on my application!!!

I wrote IELTS in April 2019 (2nd attempt) and got LSWR 8.5,7.7,6.5,7.5. Writing got upgraded to 7.5 and crs came to 446. I came to realise the crs wouldn’t cut it So i targeted Alberta PnP with my NOC 1241.

In July 2019, i got EOI from them and submitted. I used my NySC experience, gathered all relevant documents (So i thought) and submitted. Rather than get an ADR to clarify my work experience, i got denied outrightly for not having up to 1yr work experience. This happened in October.

I recently clocked 3years work experience and i’ve updated my profile. CRS now at 471, hoping and praying the scores drop asap because i really don’t want to rewrite IELTS again.

Advice
People have used NySC in the past and gotten PR so if you do plan to use it, please ensure you include all Necessary evidence to back up employment And write an LOE. Attach bank statements showing salary pyments, attach allowie statements and nysc callup/posting letters (if you have to). Anything that would give your attending officer a clearer picture.

Fingers crossed hoping for the best today.

Love and light.

Upeople:
You mean trf doesn’t change even if u write ielts 10x huh
I didn’t say that.

The OP said online result has been seen. The TRF on your online result is the same as what is printed on the paper copy. When you apply for a remark like i did with IDP, the marks may change but the TRF remains same as was my case which is why i stated based on my experience.

I believe it should be same with BC but someone else can confirm.

Mobabaola:
Hello Seniors,

My question is, can I update the new scores on my profile using the old trf number?
From my experience with IDP, the TRF doesn’t change. I want to believe that same applies to British council.

When i find the answers i’m looking for you will be informed. Again have a great day.

ednut1:
for PNP i doubt anyone has used only nysc here. IRCC is familiar with nysc not pnp

“We know una type” Judgemental much....

You should have at least asked to know why i want to message before jumping to conclusion. I have been reading for the last 2 days to find glittering star’s post but i did not find the original and she has deactivated her account.

The reason i’m looking for them is because i submitted an PNP application and my application was denied due to date issues so i’m looking for someone with experience using NYSC to advice on how to go about it because i have been given the option to submit a reconsideration request.

Thanks for your response, have a great day.

ednut1:
even if they did you will still doubt. We know una type. Glittering star did. She has deactivated tho. Her posts are still here anyways

If you are still active on NL and see this mention, please i have sent a dm/email. I would like to clarify some details about using NYSC placement as work experience. I see that you used it and got PPR.

@Transformium
@Nnakomkom

To everyone else reading this, please point me in the direction of someone that has successfully used ONLY NYSC to claim points for work experience.

Thanks.

The refund takes some time to come, i can’t remember how long but more than 2 weeks. Just follow up by email or call them. Thats the logical thing to do in this scenario as opposed to posting here asking for advice.

Eraytee:
anybody with experience of refund huh please help a soul sad

Hello people, I am post ITA state and intend to submit my application by October 20, 2019. I however have some questions, to wit:

1. For my POF (family of 3), I got 3 million from my dad (I have the transfer receipt) and intend to fund the remaining using proceeds from the sale of a property of mine. Would the Deed of Assignment (Duly Notarized and signed by all parties) including the Receipt of Sale be enough? ;
Yes...anything that proved the property was yours to sell as well as evidence of sale.

2. I have issues with the arrangement of names on my documents eg on International Passsport and IELTS TRF, i used my middle name as first name while on ALL other documents, my first name is the first name. Would an Affidavit cure this defect?
Again yes a one and same person affidavit would suffice.

So, I just wanted to know if anyone here ever had that issue and was able to resolve it. If they were even able to pinpoint the issue because I'm my case everything seems to be perfectly done.
Have you tried clearing your history, cache and cookie (hope i’m saying this right) on your computer.

Also try a different browser or computer.

If you get the code after filling the find out if you are eligible questionnaire, then you are good to go. If not, try checking whether you have up to 67/100 point from here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html as that might be the issue.

If after trying all these and nothing works, i don’t know again o.

Ifeoma77:
You're fine. The 'oldness' of the reference letter doesn't matter and NYSC is one year, many have used it successfully.
Thank you. Congrats on getting PPR and happy belated birthday. Please i’m sending you a pm
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Dimple10: 6:41am On Mar 31, 2019
Thank you.

Jennypharb1:
A number of people have used their NYSC experience and gotten PPR, everyone spent that one month in camp so I'm sure yours will be fine. Also I think the letter won't be an issue, but if you'll sleep better at night with a more recent one, then get it if you can.

Topsmamen:
1. You're good to go. That's 1 year.

2. Even if the reference letter is a year old, you can still use it. I know someone who's letter was dated 16 months prior to submission.
Great! Thanks alot.

Good evening,

I’m a Silent follower here but i’ve come to the point where i need help. I’m using my NYSC role as an administrative assistant as my primary Job. Problem is i worked from 3rd July 2017 to 5th of June 2018, 40hours weekly. Will this count as one year or 11months. I got paid at the end of June so i have 12 salary entries on my bank statement.

Also, i have my reference letter CIC standard from the company dated July 2018. Do i need to get a recent one or that one works just fine.

Thanks in Advance.

P.s- I’m waiting for my IELTS result which will be out on the 5th of April, hopefully then i can jump into the pool.
