Jokerman: The Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu said he does not envisage that the 10th Senate President will be a Muslim, given that Nigeria is a secular state, where diverse religious interests should be accommodated.
Kalu rejected the idea of having a Muslim as the next Senate President, saying it will throw up discomfort among citizens which will not go down well with the country, particularly as the All Progressives Congress, APC fought hard to overcome Muslim-Muslim ticket in the just concluded presidential election.
Kalu who has been re-elected to represent Abia North Senatorial district confirmed his interest to contest for the Office of the Senate President while speaking with Senate Press Corps on Tuesday morning at the National Assembly complex. He, however, said, his interest is tied to the zoning of the Office of the Senate President to the South East where he comes from by the National leadership of the governing All Progressives Congress while expressing the belief that the party will zone the office to the South East.
Hamachi: She has a chain on her leg and not her brain. I know a GM who puts on leg chain and she is ta very smart woman.
It's just as some companies won't take you for using Hijab, the head is covered and not the brain.
We need to have a paradigm shift in our mindset and focus on what is most important.
And if at all a company sees it as being against their culture, is it not better it is discussed with the candidate at the interview.
But I have a question, did the company told the candidate that you did well but because you are putting on a leg chain we can't hire you. We need to be careful with how we get one sided reports Simple solution would be to communicate that the dress code to the employee. You reject a good fit cos of leg chain. Next thing they will employ the incompetent person who wore suit and tie. What is the goal really? Also what is the meaning of leg chain in Nigeria? Our mothers proudly wore beads on their wrists, legs, waist and necks so what changed? How did they suddenly become evil in Africa All is well
That your GM is a lesbian. Leg chain is a Lesbian ID.

Arising from the meeting, the Commission took the decision to suspend forthwith further collation of the Governorship election results in some parts of Abia and Enugu States.

Consequently, the Commission hereby suspends the collation of results in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State and the two outstanding Local Government Areas of Enugu State which are yet to be collated. A review will be undertaken immediately before the process is concluded.

Jatuski: LEAKED AUDIO: INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Directs Returning Officer To Rig Election For Adamawa APC Gov. Candidate, Binani
*Returning officer insists on doing right thing
With collation of results currently underway in Adamawa State and results from Fufore Local Government Area being the only pending tabulation to conclude the process, it has been uncovered that INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa is mounting pressure on the returning officer for Fufore to tamper with the results.
An audio clip that was obtained reveals a conversation between Yunusa and pressuring the INEC returning officer for Fufore to do all within his means to deliver Aishatu Dahiru popularly known as Binani (the APC governorship candidate in Adamawa State).
"I have received phone calls from the highest authority for you to do everything possible to return Adamawa in favour of the woman (Binani)," Yunusa was heard telling the Returning Officer.
According to what was revealed in the audio clip, the Returning Officer, however, insists on announcing the results untampered because that was the right thing to do and also for his own safety.
"They're (agents of the opposition parties) are insisting that we should not go to Yola. That we must do everything here in Fufore. That was why I sent Zakari to come and meet you so that you will give us form so that we can do it here (in Fufore)...We are now in thr police station," the Returning Officer told the Adamawa REC.
Thank you, Sir.
Already, the incumbent and PDP candidate in the election, Ahmadu Fintiri is in the lead with results already released from other local government areas in the state.
Although the election is a neck to neck contest between Fintiri and his main challenger in the APC, Binani, the PDP is confident that based on the returns from their agents the PDP candidate is leading in the controversial Furore local government.
It is not immediately clear what is keeping the INEC from announcing the outstanding result from Furore.
The fear of many, however, is that the delay may be deliberate in order to buy time for manipulation of the results.
It will be recalled that there is an ongoing controversy on the INEC issuing contracts for the printing of sensitive election materials in the 2023 general election to a company owned by Senator Binani.
onthehill: 2023 Elections Are An Improvement On 2003, 2007 And 2019 Elections - Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri has said that despite imperfections of Nigeria's 2023 elections, the elections are an improvement on 2003, 2007 and 2019 elections held in the country, IGBERETV reports.
The former presidential aide wrote on his Twitter handle;
naijapips04: Peter Obi has single handedly pulled the Igbo nation decades back.
His singular irrational ambition has enthroned APC for at least the next 8 years if not 16. It has enthroned Muslim domination. Igbos have lost our at the center with no clear path of finding our way back.
Obi is the biggest loser in this election. Alex Otti in Abia state would have won even if he contested under Sowore's party. LP will only take Anambra state backwards. Soludo would be fighting more to stay then concentrate on working for the people. Obi is a dangerously ambitious he goat. There's greater polarization between Igbos and Yorubas. The worst since 1967.
It pains me because I'm igbo. No strong Igbo alliance in APC, PDP. The SS are taking our rightful position. The elections are over. We would go back to screaming marginalisation and Biafra while others reap from Nigeria.
Obi should never have happened and he should be taken down. His continued ambition is doing nothing but harm to the average igboman.
You are cursed with foolishness. Obi rose like a man and made Igbos proud. Time for collecting crumbs is over cursed fool.
Other tribes can do whatever they like, but Obi has raised the Igbo question and brought it to the front burner. He was the best candidate but he was glossed over by idiots like you. Today, he has created a viable third force.
hmohammed: I took my time to go through the INEC portal and I can confirm to you that LP is officially losing those 2 states. I am so happy. I dislike Obi so much
It is a massive lie. He is playing on People's intelligence. LP is sweeping Plateau and Lagos.
OEPHIUS: My dear fellow members of Obidient family worldwide, just look at how the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Enugu State, Chijioke Edeoga is talking down on our hero, Mr. Peter Obi in a radio programme.
Femmyfamous4u: Dear Friends, i would like to know if it is normal or I am being paranoid. while we were dating i noticed that my now wife does not really like sex as we hardly do the act.
She was good in other areas so, I felt with time things will sort itself out.
After the marriage, I made it known to her clearly that I will want to have the sex as much as i desire but i must say for about three months now, we have only had it about ten times. I do not want to cheat on her but my needs are not met and I have told her this times and times again with no change.
Now, she is pregnant and it is worse. What do I do my people?
Only two reasons.
Either you don't know how to do it or she is a coded Lesbian.
Check well, does she like lesbian porn, does she have a female bestie? Investigate carefully because no amount of pre-intimacy from a man can turn a lesbian on.
Deltafirstson: The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of its withdrawal from the Enugu East Senatorial election slated for March 11, 2023.
The import of the letter is that the party’s candidate for the election, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, is no more contesting for the election. A memo to the INEC, sighted by journalists and signed by the PDP’s Head of Cabinet Affairs Department, Anicho Okoro, on behalf of the party’s National Secretary, stated that Nnamani had been expelled from the party. In the memo, titled “Expulsion of Senator Chimaroke Nnamani from the PDP,” Okoro noted that the party’s NWC at its 566th meeting of Friday, February 10, 2023, in the exercise of the power conferred on it by Section 29(2)(b) of its constitution (as amended in 2017), and acting on behalf of the National Executive Committee, discussed the report of the National Disciplinary Committee and approved the expulsion of Senator Nnamani from the party with effect from February 10, 2023. “This is for your information and further necessary action, please,” he said. However, in a separate letter to the INEC, The party’s National Chairman, Dr. Iyiorcha Ayu, also informed the electoral umpire of its automatic withdrawal of the former governor from the senatorial race. Dr. Ayu’s letter of notice, titled, ‘Notification of expulsion of Senator Chimaroke Nnamani from the Peoples Democratic Party’ dated February 22, 2023, and acknowledged by the electoral umpire, read in parts: “We write to notify you that the PDP, in exercise of its power under the party’s constitution (as amended in 2017), has expelled Senator Chimaroke Nnamani as a member of the party with effect from Friday, February 10, 2023. “Following the expulsion, Senator Nnamani ceases to be a member of the party, and also loses his nomination and sponsorship as candidate of the party for the Enugu East Senatorial District in the forthcoming general elections.” Dr. Ayu reiterated the party’s position that it is not sponsoring any candidate for the Enugu East Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections. “While looking forward to your immediate compliance; please, accept as always, the assurances of our highest regards,” he added
That's a lie, it is a game to elect Nnamani because people from his Senatorial Zone have sworn never to vote for him, so out of fear, they set up the National office of the party to parade a fake letter claiming that Chimaroke Nnamani is not running for office.
