Why is a lawyer minister for power why not an engineer
They think your degree has to be linked to your portfolio
I remember when a previous (junior)minister was dragged for being a nurse he has a post degree for public health I think |

Focusmind: After my studies in 2010, I just concluded that the difference between developed and developing nations are too much. 19th century Europe was far more developed than 21st century Africa.
I was buying chocolate coated biscuits for less than 50p in UK whereby the same sells for 3k here. I bought bucket of cadbury chocolate at £1 while the same goes for not less than 3.5k here.
No matter your status, you could still live a decent poor man life in UK. Whenever in Nigeria, there are some things I refuse to buy, not because one can't afford it and do big man levels but out of principle!! I mean even after calculating for profit, tax, import brouhaha and inefficiency in the system- the prices are just daylight robbery!! |

We rented one apartment like that, when you're knocking a nail into the wall you literally have to remove your eyes if not sand fit blind.. Thank God it was a bungalow. Just packaging You know |

EgunMogaji2: I haven’t bought cement this year but I understand that it might be back to the old price.
AirBnB is certainly part of the plan. Of the 5 buildings (10 flats) one will be specifically reserved and outfitted for Airbnb duties.
You know a friend is renting out at N35K per week in Ibadan though in a much high brow area. His waiting list is now till March. Money dey for this country and many are silent big spenders. Correct, airbnb will definitely do well. 35k a week or you mean a day? I'm fine tunning my vacation with things falling in place nicely. Lagos to Ibadan train sorted, then accommodation coming up, now searching for activities/POI to fill the weekend with the help of YouTube vloggers IITA etc |

DisGuy: Been looking forward to this for over a year now, but totally disappointed the contract is only for the Kaduna abuja line... what's the point when the lagos Ibadan track was already in lagos then....and looking at it its overpriced for just that line. The contract should be for the whole Kano- lagos!!!
Solid company and partners though UPDATE. the contract was for the NRC, not just 5 stations on the Abuja-Kaduna line. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1352747260015210497.html

I really am not sure about the thickness of the German floor offhead. I'm seeing pictures and vlogs of the construction seems it's coming up nicely...they don't seems to have cement issues How's the price of cement now? Any Airbnb factored in or make I change my Ibadan weekend plans |

mansakhalifa: I keep on hearing certain players in the aviation sector whining about how challenging and almost unprofitable it is to participate in the aviation sector. Yet, every time I blink, a new airline gets floated. Now, this time, it's going to be four at once taking to the skies.
How then do we explain this extraordinary phenomenon? I thought the sector kills start-ups. So, why are these new firms popping up so quickly despite the multi-pronged issues in that sector? such as....? |

The previous policy was that dual nationals with expired Nigerian passports had to apply for a visa to visit their own country of birth. Really good news if it's as stated.
