Tx folks, I reali apprcte your inputs. Dis guy, exactly hw to go abt dat? Some schools dnt do transfers, man.
it's not a transfer per se, basically you are applying with an Msc/PGD to make up for the entry criteria 2.1+
but you'll still do two years

How are certs from other region outside UK/USA in nigeria, AUS, SA etc etc
CareerRe: Confused: Any MSc options for 2.2 Grads? by DisGuy: 2:34pm On Dec 15, 2011
na wa o, is the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria under employing or something

Phd just to enter this oil and gas

Sure graduate schemes shouldnt be the only entry route, they should have alternative entry routes for HND, lower qualified and non 'oil n gas' graduates

kunlewoye:
Hi All, I'd appreciate if I could have someone advise genuinely on this. I also have a 2:2 in Chemical Engineering, bt all the Petroleum Engineering schools in Canada dnt subscribe to my "kind"- sadly. Is there some program I can enroll in to stand me in good stead? Or a better one than I'm in? is there no hope? cry
how about an Msc in europe- 1 year, then transfer to USA for american/Canadian MSc

its only four months oga and guess what XMAS/New year is around the corner; this is the high season
you didn't tell us if you are based in the same city or even same country

In the initial stage you are expected to use your capital to keep the business running, you might want to consider selling
one of the vans to keep the business going for another 6months

If you can why don't you take control of one of the Vans yourself for a week, try different parks with that van
leaving the rest to their normal routine

chei when did whiteroses become a business consultant,

1. Security/Defense --- N921 Billion? Damn, although I would support this amount for security and defense, though, I won't be quick to notice the difference in change from last years budget of N348 Billion. That's a 265% sharp increase, that increase is quite aggressive, thanks to Boko Haram. I hope this budget should be able to purchase UAV's, modern fighter jets as well as other defense and security equipments.
Fighter jet for Boko Haram? They will spend it on Armoured Vehicles for Dame and her lady in waiting, the rest will be used to massage france,uk,USa's ego, the GEJ will be getting 'positive; mentions from Obama,Sarkozy n co in return for their ailing defence companies and SSS will be arresting more bloggers at the airport grin

'charity' is a bit tooo undecided

helpers sounds more involved, not just a money donation scheme people get tired of so many of them

whatever names its called it will always be visible as long as the impact is felt

How much was spent in a single year to tackle MEND ?

is the FG saying Boko Haram is more dangerous than MENd whose activities directly affected oil feed

back door subsidy if you ask me, will they be doling out contracts for retired general just to keep the peace or actually tackle the cause of these
as they partly did for the ND

Nchara:
How would you fight Boko Haram, kidnappers, armed robbers and ritualists? With your teeth? The defense budget seems okay given the acute insecurity in the land
Except by ''transportation'' they mean reviving the rail system, that budget should be tweaked significantly and used to augment power.
certainly not by putting more more into the generals to appease them, or what is the money for exactly? ransome fees?

BusinessRe: Why Can’t I Make Any Sale (need Advice)? by DisGuy: 1:53pm On Dec 13, 2011
Hope4pple:
I’ve been trying to connect Nigerian buyers with a U.S manufacturer (of personal care products) for almost 5 months now. Some buyers show interest, but when they see they need to pay before the products are shipped, they no longer show interest. I feel they think it’s a scam, (i don’t blame them) but I also think they should know better (based on catalogs and price lists provided). If they want to determine if the company is legit, they can simply google the company’s name and visit the website themselves.

In fact, they can go on Los Angeles’ Fictitious Business Name website to search if the company’s name is already in use.

I can also provide the company’s recent article of corporation. After doing all these, I believe anyone who’s still not convinced they are dealing with a legitimate business has serious discernment issues.

I’d appreciate any advice on how to go about selling the products.

Thank you.
I think they are just used to the traditional transaction model- cash and carry, thats one of the reason online business dont thrive as much in nigeria, i remember my cousin trying to sell a phone on here and someone told him to send it first to see it undecided

another issue is some people are not serious, they usually are very interested in everything and anything they dont have the money for it, they dont have the market for it, but they might see it as a sure banker- some just want to get it to start a business without putting anything down
all those 'self employement gurus'

Best advice it to get a range of samples to Nigeria- if you are on ground market it yourself to distributors especially those with shops or similar business already and those that can atleast show some seriousness

Or get someone to do the marketing for you then you seal the deals in US

many time wasters abound, you just have to look in the business section of NL, the drop their emails and telephone numbers without anything to offer

Jonathan is not really interested in catching looters, he's acting as if it doesnt exist

he appears to be acting like as long as the leakages are blocked they wont be a problem,
catching the big theives is not in his plan, he will just allow them enjoy their loots as long as they are not disturbing his presidency
whilst they scheme new ways to bypass his 'new' system

its better to have one number, that way 'no fiddling about trying to locate the local one, just like 999 911 etc

I am guessing they want to have a call centre that will direct call to local human right ngos or something
